I love my kitchen and I've also approached him about a future project. I had a basic 1970's era condo kitchen-outdated but can't really change the footprint. I tried to revive it with refacing. It still didn't function well, but I worked around it. A leak in the wall behind the cabinets, forced an unexpected remodel. I received estimates from several contractors using stock or RTA "IKEA" kitchen cabinets. The cabinets I saw in these stores did not seem as sturdy as my existing cabinets. I couldn't customize and would have similar unusable spaces where the pre-made cabinets are put together. The contractors and pre-made cabinet stores told me custom cabinets would cost twice as much as their estimates. While looking for design ideas, I saw multiple Houzz and Reddit posts stating a local carpenter could give me custom cabinets at a much better price. I am so glad I paid attention to the posts! That's how I found Sacramento Millworks. His price for my project was comparable to the quotes I received for stock cabinets. Raymond is a carpenter and a designer. Because of his experience, he handled everything. He walked me through everything, including a trip to the granite and tile shops. I just picked colors. He was very patient. Most of contractors I've worked with recently send employees to do the work. They just pop in here and there until it's time for payment. Raymond was on site working with one helper everyday. After a quick Yelp search, we came across Elite Custom Cabinetry and Fidel was able to see what was already done and listened to what I wanted to do. He quickly understood what was needed, listened for any design input, even provided some options with regards to trim styles to be installed in between each bookcase. On the day of installation, just a few hours went by and the crown molding, various pieces of trim, and nearly perfectly matching baseboards were installed. Lots of little bits here and there were considered to truely give the appearance of a built-in library. The work was perfect, especially given where the starting line was. When the work was done, their clean up was so good, not a piece of dust was left behind. On top of everything, pricing was very reasonable. For the work that was done, the cost was very fair. I would not hesitate recommending this company to anyone looking to complete a bookshelf/library project. I am sure they do other types of work but as far as libraries go, nothing but fantastic work.

I had them install baseboards, fix a section of my floor, and restain my floors. I went on vacation while they did this. I came back to all the windows in my house and doors left open. Anyone could have came in. The baseboards were not painted, there was dust everywhere, they got stain on many of my cabinets. They did come out to paint the baseboards but got paint on the floor. I paid to have the furniture moved and ended up having to help move in myself. Additionally, the workers that did the actual work were not even from the same company. I doubt that they were even legal. I could get past most of this but one of the repairs only lasted a few months then broke again. When I reached out they gave me the run around, then when they did come out said that my floors were not installed probably, and that was the issue. I asked when they did not disclose this prior to the project they said that they did not know. They refused to repair it and were very rude about it. I have no choice but to report them to the licensing board and go to court to collect damages to repair my floor. Do not use this company.

We were looking for someone to pull up floor from the spare bedroom and use the pieces to patch the remaining parts that were damaged due to a flood. He arrived and talked through our options with us and got back to us in a reasonable time to schedule & get to work. We had a quote from another floor guy but we really liked Josh & his quote was great so we were in. The work itself took about a day a half and the patchwork was seamless. He was able to reuse many of the floor pieces to fix the main areas and we are now off to get the remaining bedroom carpeted. We woulda went with him for this as well but that was outside of his scope. Nevertheless the job was done below budget and quickly might I add. He also fixed a linen cabinet that had been removed due to the water damage. He was meticulous and thorough in cutting and replacing the baseboards as well. We cannot recommend him highly enough. We had our kitchen & family room floors redone with waterproof laminate by N G Floors. Stan T. Gave us the estimate which was the best we received. Many of the staff helped us find a compatible color flooring with our many oak cabinets & oak flooring in the breakfast room. It was difficult. We brought samples home 4 times to find the right one. Things look very different in showroom from the way they appear in your home. Once the material arrived they finished quickly & efficiently. Stan T managed the project & made himself available by phone & text. With an old house the machines tripped breakers & we8 lost TV. Internet & plugs in various rooms. An electrician was called promptly & temporarily corrected all the problems but I must make some electrical upgrades for safety & security. read more

Naz was great when he came out to give me the estimate for my new flooring. He was prompt, gave me an estimate for replacing my carpet with LVP flooring and he also gave me a bid to remove all of the hardwood flooring in the house as well as the carpet. I opted to do the LVP throughout the house as it would have been hard to match the LVP to the real hardwood I had in my home. As soon as I made the decision to go with N G Flooring, they were able to get me on the schedule right away. I am very pleased with the team of installers and their meticulous work. I would recommend NG Floors to a friend. My review is focused on NG Floors' 4 year guarantee of his product and installation. My flooring started failing one year after installation due to various factors including an inferior vinyl flooring product. After hassling with the product manufacturer for some time with no success, Nazar agreed to replace the floor with full credit for my initial expenditure. The replaced floor required moving all furniture and removal and replacement of baseboards. My only additional cost was for additional floor prep and the upgrade for the flooring product. We were impressed with Flavia's knowledge and professionalism when she came to review the project for the estimate. She asked questions to understand our needs and wants. She patiently listened and answers our questions. During the installation, Flavia came out a few times to ensure everything was going well. She also helped find just the right transition pieces to work with the existing flooring outside the baths. The installation was a two day process. I had them install baseboards, fix a section of my floor, and restain my floors. I went on vacation while they did this. I came back to all the windows in my house and doors left open. Anyone could have came in. The baseboards were not painted, there was dust everywhere, they got stain on many of my cabinets. They did come out to paint the baseboards but got paint on the floor. I paid to have the furniture moved and ended up having to help move in myself. Additionally, the workers that did the actual work were not even from the same company. I doubt that they were even legal. I could get past most of this but one of the repairs only lasted a few months then broke again. When I reached out they gave me the run around, then when they did come out said that my floors were not installed probably, and that was the issue. I asked when they did not disclose this prior to the project they said that they did not know. They refused to repair it and were very rude about it. I have no choice but to report them to the licensing board and go to court to collect damages to repair my floor. Do not use this company.

Jorge quoted me at $700 as well as one other contractor with the others absurdly overpriced, the next lowest one was $1500. All for basic carpeting. ChatGPT gave me a range of $500-$900 for the job in my area. Quality - looks great, watched some of the work and I could tell they were trying to do it right and not cut any corners. Service - great communication throughout the project and was not pushy on sales like some of the other companies. Really kind person and I wish most contractors were like him. His employee was friendly as well. I was a little nervous using someone with such few reviews, but glad I took a chance. Highly recommend Jorge and Golden Floors.

I definitely recommend him to anyone looking to do their floors.

Great work overall, with some caveats…read more Denis and his team performed excellent work installing new LaVie laminate flooring throughout our 1300 sq ft single story house, all at a very good price. It has been quite a few months now and I can't say I've noticed any issues at all with the quality of the installation. I personally was very impressed with how well they managed to get everything to-spec in-spite of our foundation being very non-flat. Rectifying this required a little more time and money, but this was well within our expectations given the existing state of our floor. We stayed in a hotel for four nights while work was being done, with work concluding close to midnight on the night we returned. Prior to install, we moved most of our belongings to our garage and let the installation team handle moving larger appliances and furniture pieces as they worked. That said, there were a few hiccups. The most alarming issue we noticed the morning after we returned home was the presence of work materials scattered throughout our front yard. In-addition to trim pieces and leftover chunks of floor leveler, the most concerning findings included about a half-dozen razor blades, a few reciprocal saw heads, and over a dozen cigarette butts. While Denis did offer to have his team return to perform clean-up after I raised this concern, I decided to act quickly on my own to resolve this in-order to prevent injury to my kids and/or neighbors' dogs. We have also noticed small locations of damage to interior paint, as well as some sort-of hard metal/saw residue on our guest bathroom toilet near one of the bolts where the toilet attaches to the floor. While some of the touch-up work, while annoying, won't be that difficult to fix ourselves, your mileage may vary and is something you have to take into account before approving work. As-of this writing, I have no clue if the toilet can be restored; it's mostly inconspicuous and not the end of the world, but still unfortunate. All things considered, I would consider using Radix Flooring again, but probably only after moving-out of or before moving-into a dwelling, and only after comparing quotes from flooring companies who offer detailed cleaning as part of their contract. I would also beware if you're fussy about your lawn. We fortunately aren't lawn aficionados, so there was no lasting damage from the debris, but the crew needs a work area on your property to cut material and it will be up to you to contend with the state of your manicured lawn after everything is complete.
