My grandathers 30-year old furnace died the day before Thanksgiving with overnight freezing temps expected. The initial group who came to quote a replacement gave a 21k bid (ridiculous). We called three other companies and had them come out. Nate and his team told us what to expect upfront, sent Caden from their team who was confident, patient, and respectful in inspection of what was needed and of my grandfather and his property. 48 hours later we had a new furnace working great for him at a price that was fair and in line with market. To top it off they brought space heaters over in the meantime and Nate followed up with me and with my grandfather to make sure everything was good. I so wish more companies operated like this these days. Good people who simply do the right thing and follow through. Can't rate them highly enough.

Among them, Travis has fixed leaks, replaced outdoor spigots, serviced tankless and traditional hot water heaters, replaced sinks/faucets, installed a complete Halo water filtration system, replaced irrigation back-flow valves, serviced/replaced our sump pump, fixed valves on our main line, installed new toilets in all bathrooms...the list goes on. He has always left our house's plumbing better than he found it and we appreciate the expertise he has as a Master Plumber which noticeably distinguishes him from other plumbers. Fast forward a few days and they cashed the check despite the fact that they completed no work. Now I'm fighting to get a refund and am beyond livid at this experience of feeling taken advantage of.

Steve was the technician. He arrived well within the promised "window," and went right to work diagnosing the problem. In just a few minutes, he confirmed that we had a failed waste water pump, which the Error Code on the digital display had indicated. Steve was very efficient and quite competent. He explained the process as he did the repair. He had the part in his vehicle, so was able to do the repair on-the-spot. In about 1.5 hours, the repair was completed, the dishwasher re-installed, and we did a successful test run. Elite had given me an estimate for the total cost of the repair before I even scheduled the visit, and the amount I paid was actually less than their estimate. Upon completion of the work, I got an immediate follow-up call from Lana, to make sure I was satisfied with their service! As with any household appliance, we hope not to have to make repairs. But in the future, when I need any appliance repairs done, I will definitely call Elite Appliance!

After having a…read moredisastrous encounter with Patriot Plumbing via Yelp here in Castle Rock I googled for someone else and found Barnes. After a few questions Barnes informed me that the part was under warranty, but that B&W warranties were hard to deal with, essentially I needed to have the part replaced and then the plumber would return it via the supplier and eventually B&W should refund the price of the part. However, Barnes would drive up to Littleton, get the part and fix my water heater today. They fixed my water heater and bottom line the cost was over $900 less than Patriot and I can expect, eventually, the cost of the part to be refunded. Unlike Patriot they actually had tools and volt meters etc. and did a full function test of the system, gas leak checks, etc. They may not have pretty trucks, but compared to Patriot, they're priceless. Oh and I have hot water.
