The country music playing which was a little off-theme but it wasn't too loud and you can easily have a conversation across a table. Service was very attentive and food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Food: For appetizers we got the vegetable pakora and vegetable samosas which were solid. There were 8 pakora per order so super easy to share and 3 samosas which are massive so you can easily split these in half if needed. For those wondering, "momos" are essentially the Tibetan/mongolian version of chinese dumplings which subsequently spread southwest to Nepal. We got the traditional Nepali, Chilli Yak, Chilli Chicken, and Chicken C versions which essentially covered the steamed, fried, and soup style preparations of dumplings. All of them were honestly delicious and different enough from one another we didn't feel like we duplicated flavors. The favorite was the Chilli chicken on if you have to pick just one to try. The traditional nepali thali is a dinner set that comes out on a bronze plate, I got mine with lamb curry which was very tender and not too gamey tasting at all. The basmati rice was fluffy and it comes with daal soup, cauliflower, a fermented pickle relish, and one of those syrup soaked balls (gulab jamun). It is quite filling so come hungry if you order this. The chow mein here is unique. It is NOT like Cantonese chow mein which uses a soy + oyster sauce base but instead the Nepalese version adds ketchup and chili sauce so it actually tastes like a hybrid between the chinese dish and spaghetti. It is actually quite tasty and worth a try if you're a fan of either dish. The naan here comes out a little bit oily but otherwise is fluffy and tasty, did not regret ordering it. Overall this place justifies it's 5 star rating. The flavors are punchy and delicious, the portions are massive, and the prices very reasonable especially the inflation nowadays. Would strongly encourage any to go out of their way to give this place a try.

You kind of get the restaurant to yourself some days, but don't let that scare you. It is SO good and the service is great as well!

The interior was surprisingly large and nice (table cloths, flowers, glasswear.) The Bollywood (rap/rock) music videos on the TVs seemed a little out of sorts with the nicer ambiance, but it was easy to ignore the TVs. Service was extremely pleasant & efficient. We had the samosa appetizer, garlic naan, hubs had the chicken tikka and I had the tandoori veg momos. Aromas & flavors on everything was very nice. They also have a $16.99 lunch buffet that we are eager to come back & try. #yum #ReviewsByRL

Maybe it was because we chose…read moreSunday dinner when the whole staff was on leave and probably the top chefs were not available. It's a learning experience. Four of us tried Punjabi Tadka after looking at the review. We ordered Chicken Soup, Soya Chaap, Tandoori Shrimp as Appetizers. Good thing they gave us the soup completely bland without any salt, pepper and I liked the idea as the guests can season it as per their need. 07 out of 10 Soya chaap was hard, lacked flavour and the chutneys served didn't help enhance it either. 04 out of 10 Tandoori Shrimp was basically shrimp covered in tandoor masala and cooked on a pan. The onions and green peppers served were soggy with the masala. Highly disappointing but we expected better from the Main course. 03 out of 10 Main course we ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken noodles to begin with. Chicken noodle was mostly spaghetti in marinara sauce with chunks of chicken. We couldn't eat after 1 - 2 spoons. We had to return it. 01 out of 10 Naan was fluffy and the best of the dishes we tried at Punjabi tadka, 09 out of 10. Chicken tikka masala was just a very sweet tomato gravy that made us somehow finish the naan 03 out of 10. Apart from the food though the staff was polite but he lacked common etiquettes. After appetizers and before the main course, he would bring the larger plates to the table without even cleaning the table. We had to ask him to clean the table while we held the plates. We had to find the person to fill in the water bottle and the bottles were not very user friendly. The bill was around 90 USD without the noodle which is fair for a team of 4 but the quality of dishes were not up to the mark. Again I hope it was due to Sunday evening staff crunch.

Coming from an Indian background, the spice attracted us since that's mostly minimal at the businesses we tried in the past. The ambience is casual, the space is huge and you are escorted immediately. The menu definitely confused us with such a huge variety but not surprising since this is how menus in India are. We ordered a hot and sour chicken soup which was tangy, moderately spiced and generously peppered with chicken. The chicken biryani (chicken in flavored rice) reminded us of food served back home, it was that well made. All in all we enjoyed our dinner and we were absolutely delighted with the diversity of customers pouring in.

We got the Samosa. Okay, nothing special, served very pale. We ordered the chicken drum lollipops--mild. They were 8/10 spice. I like spice, hubby doesn't. But even for me they were fire sticks. We discussed the chicken lollipops being too spicy and he offered to replace. They literally took them to the kitchen, rinsed them and put another sauce on it. It did NOT remove the spice. We tried the family Biryani chicken dum. It was okay. The best I can say was the chicken was super moist. The taste was good, but did not leave me wanting more. One soda and one water. The bill was 66 and change. I still tipped 15%. BUT, What a waste.
