Incredible India is stunning inside! The lighting, the comfortable seating and the beautiful pots give this restaurant a nice touch. We were seated immediately and were told we could go up for the buffet. They had an assortment of Indian foods to try. They were all delicious-some having more heat than others, but nothing unbearable. I will say I was disappointed in the naan. We went for a lunch buffet and the food was great. There was a table with pani puri (puffy balls with chick peas and spiced water.) Usual samosas and pakoras which were good. Chicken of several varieties was tasty also. Naan is available on the buffet. Ambience was nice, clean and very open. Music playing was pop rock which I thought was interesting instead of the usual Indian music. This is fairly new restaurant on 96th street. It is in the location that used to be a bob evans restaurant. They did a really nice job remodeling the restaurant. It now has a full bar, a dessert display, full service restaurant or lunch buffet. Plenty of parking. Both times I have visited I had the lunch buffet. It allows me to sample the various foods. The buffet has a lot of vegetarian options as well as meat. I loved the options I selected: rice, tandoori chicken, goat curry, chicken tikka masala and naan. For dessert I had a little halwa and a small bowl of rice kheer. Ok, I had two bowls. The surprise for me today was the goat. I've had goat bf and was underwhelmed. The dining room has a really posh, elegant vibe to it. The menu, though, is all over the place. I think there were 8 pages with double columns, and that didn't even include drink options. Buffett visit on a Sunday and it's teeming! The tables are big and thankfully not smooshed close to each other. It's amazing how well they manage the seating, filling up of food stations and cleaning up tables without any chaos. The food is North Indian style and was a treat. The chicken and goat were excellent, yes not light food but you don't go to buffet for light food. I was pleasantly surprised at the salad bar variety as well. This is for the lunch buffet only. Today was my second time coming for the lunch buffet. The first time I wasn't impressed but I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd give it a second try. This was a mistake. I came in at 1 pm and none of the dishes had anything left but the sauce--both the chicken and the vegetarian. There were two exceptions---one chicken dish where the chicken was green colored (and which was actually tasty), and the other which was goat biryani, in which the goat was pieces of bone, connective tissue, and fat. The paneer didn't have any paneer left, the butter chicken was just sauce, a korma dish was just sauce, and the entire time I was there nothing was replenished, or if it was, I didn't make it in time for any of the main ingredients to be left. Have driven by this place 100 times and my wife and I finally decided to give it a try tonight. The hostess quickly sat at us at a table, but then service was nonexistent for several minutes. We saw other tables that arrived after us receive their drinks and even some appetizers, and we had barely been acknowledged. When the waitress finally showed up, she was not friendly, and did not seem to have the patience to explain the menu to us. Felt like we were being a bother to her. Samosa chaat was definitely impressive than vada paav . We also got the chicken tikka dosa which was delicious . We loved flavor minced chicken inside a dosa ! For dessert we had to try the Black Forest pastry and were very surprised how good it was . It was light and sweet enough . The ambiance is like a fine dining but we felt the vibe was pretty casual . Great service, and really good food! The ambiance and decor is very high end. We went on a weekday evening so we didnt try the buffet, but we enjoyed the food so much that we will make sure to go back soon and try it! They also have a case of Indian desserts that I'd never seen before, I highly recommend this restaurant if you want some good Indian food. Their interior decor is beautiful and their seating arrangements are slightly different from other places. Their customer service is good and they have a lot of food options. They have quite a few vegetarian options. This place is family friendly and business casual. They seems to have a buffet setup as well but the one we tried was a weekday dinner that was not a buffet. The menu is HUGE and they have so many incredible items I've not seen before from an Indian restaurant. If this was in Cincy we would be eating here regularly. Although I will say it's pricey - $15 for 6 tandoori momos is outrageous, but also they were delicious. The coriander chicken curry was great was very tender chicken. My husband liked the tikka masala but I've had better sauce elsewhere. The mango lassi was amazing and I loved the little Rosewater jelly cubes on top. Garlic naan was tasty. The Pani Puri presentation was excellent, but there was not enough filling in each (this would be my only complaint of the entire meal). The sauces were rich and flavorful, the chicken and lamb were incredibly tender, and the chutneys were excellent. We were all very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely a place to try. It was about $100 for 3 of us, with no drinks (water). There are free complimentary cookies on the way out. They have pastries that look amazing and offer cake ordering. Yes, the building was once a bob evans but they have completely redone the inside creating a great ambiance. Service was great, our server was attentive and answered all of my mom's never-ending questions with a smile. The menu was expansive and the food was excellent. The waitress recommended the paneer lababdar for my mom and I wish I had ordered it as well. It was very tasty and with some garlic naan was the perfect bite. Stop by for a family dinner, and though you could dress casually, the atmosphere and the decor lead you to believe you were walking into a black-tie affair. The food was delicious. The service was phenomenal. I would only say that three people at our party of six ordered appetizers as meals, and they had their meal before anybody else got their food because they were served as appetizers. We did not specify the appetizers that were ordered as a meal. We're going to be consumed as the main course for that person. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it back to try the lunch buffet, but I was informed by the restaurant that the buffet has more options than their weekday buffet.
