The variety of dining options is my favorite thing about this mall. There are so many Korean restaurants to choose from ranging from Korean fried chicken to KBBQ to seafood to pochas, and even a food court! Throughout the mall there are plenty of drink spots and dessert cafés. I honestly haven't even had the chance to try every restaurant yet because there are so many options. Beyond the food, I also enjoy browsing the small independent shops throughout the mall. There are many Korean beauty stores, home goods, K-pop merch, clothing boutiques, and other unique stores that are fun to explore. Whether you're stopping by for a meal or spending a few hours shopping, The Source is a great place to visit!

There weren't too many people and shops to begin with. It felt drab and dreary, not bustling and lively. I was also disappointed with the selection. They only had cheap stores like Ross and TJ Maxx, so the shopping experience felt cheap. Don't get me wrong, I do love cheap shopping as well, but the vibe of the mall just felt unsophisticated. What was interesting though was they did have an arcade that featured bigger rides which seemed nice. They also have a big parking lot with lots of spaces. Overall, I would probably not come to this mall again unless I was doing something nearby to pass the time such as getting auto repairs or looking for cheap shopping in the area.

I also was surprised to see Aeropostale and Cotton On. I thought the former had gone out of business. My only complaint is the food court. Why is it tucked away in a corner down a separate wing? And I wish the crepe place also made savory ones.

Some of these artist I've seen boothing at the 626 Night Market, but I'm glad I don't have to pay an entrance fee just to purchase their products with this store.

We're compared prices on a bunch of items from each of the K-pop shops at The Source and K Place is almost always is a few dollars cheaper than its competitors. Secondly, the album selection is better and you get a wide array of new releases as well as older albums from previous generations. Many of the new releases also come with preorder benefits (POBs) that is only offered at K Place. These attributes also applies to their online store as well which we also buy from when we are unable to go to the physical storefront. The store can get busy especially during weekends but the lines always go pretty fast. The customer service is nice too. A guy let me repick my POB if it ended up being the same member as another POB I picked. If you sign up for their free membership you get $5 off every $100 spent in-store and online as well so definitely sign up for that if you want additional savings. Another thing to look out for is discounts throughout the store. Some popular items that go on discount are usually older magazines and various merch that they're trying to get rid of. Once in awhile, they'll have a stack of freebies by the front entrance too (usually opened albums without photocards, posters, etc.). Once in awhile, they'll host a girl group/boy group photocard trading event too so keep up with their social media if you want to buy/sell/trade your photocard collection at one of these events.
