Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

We arrived just as the annual flea market/fair thingy was ending, and were told that it was an occasion that many plan for each year. Really, I loved the little town. We took a walk and saw some elk wandering the neighborhood, circled back and stopped for yummy pizza, woke up in the morning and walked 5 minutes over to an excellent coffee shop with free wi-fi. Rumor has it you can see Mt Rainier on a clear day. I'm planning to go back and stay longer!

A pool, a playground, a large covered area, a fenced dog park - complete with a variety of hydrants for when nature calls for the pups and activities there. We stayed at this RV park for three nights last weekend. I'm giving it 3 stars rather than 4…read morebecause we were in the overflow area, which was basically a gravel parking lot with sites very close to each other. However, the main campground is much more wooded and pleasant (though the sites are still very close to each other.) I'd give it a 4 if we had stayed there. Pros: electricity, water and sewer were available at the site. The camp also has a pool (closed during these covid times), a small store, a restaurant, and it also looked like they sell propane on site though we didn't buy any. The park is in reasonable proximity to both Bumping Lake and Chinook Pass to the west and Naches and Yakima to the east. Cons: as I said, small sites and the overflow area was quite ugly. Also the men's bathroom is secured with a sliding chain safety lock which allows the door to open a bit before it engages. This allows someone outside to see you sitting in the throne when someone else tries to open the door. I don't know if the women's bathroom is the same way, but whoever thought that kind of lock was appropriate for a bathroom with no stalls or other privacy screens needs to try it once or twice and see how it feels. The price seemed pretty standard for RV parks with full hookups.

My husband is now bleeding all over his arm and wrist. His wrist is now sprained because of the fall and his shoe has a hole in it where the dog had grabbed him. He went straight to the office who immediately said they were NOT responsible. My daughter is an Attorney and dissagrees. They WILL have to deal with it one way or another. This place is a dive in a bad location with homeless everywhere and now this. At least we met some nice people from. Yakima who were very nice and fun to talk to. ​We will try to focus on that.
