I made the fatal mistake of booking my makeup with Zoe at this salon. What she did to my face was a hate crime to say the least. I requested a soft glam, natural look for an event I had. Zoe did the exact opposite. She caked layers of different foundations that did not match my skin type. My eye shadow was a mess and my eyebrows were a disaster. It looked like she did my make up in the dark. I let her know about half way through that I was not liking it and tried to stop her. She assured me she knew what she was doing and wasn't finished. Reluctantly, I tried to trust the process. Once she was finished, I'm sure she saw the disappointment on my face. Her and Nadeen tried to convince me that it looked amazing. I couldn't even recognize myself In the mirror. The make up made me look 30 years older than I am. It wasn't until I noticed the awkward glances from other clients that I realized how seriously botched my face was. They assured me the make up would look great in the dark. My event was at 4PM. What salon has to convince a client it looks nice? I cried when I left. I had my best friend come to my house and she completely re did my face to give me the look I wanted. She did better than Zoe and she only has one arm! My entire sink was orange from the layers of product on my face. Seriously steer clear of this place. This is an amazing salon tucked away in Eagle Rock area right by the Target shopping center. I had the Brazilian hair treatment done here with Ember and I felt like a new person after! My hair was so shiny after and the treatment did a fantastic job getting rid of my frizz. The first few days my hair is super straight but after 1-2 washes, I get a little bit of my volume and texture back without the frizz. This treatment is a game changer.
