    $4.50 - Baklava

Excellent chicken leg kebab (Vaziri) and koobideh. Koobideh, in particular, was juicy but I would still go with chicken leg kebab. Lamb was way too pricey IMHO. You can find lamb cheaper at SARKO Georgian restaurant at Dufferin and Major Mackenzie Drive. The food itself was really good though. I would go back for the chicken alone. It was that good. I wish they served a proper salad on the side instead of that purple cabbage or whatever it was. I'm talking tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet onion, and salad leaves with some olive oil and salt. Shirazi salad was weird. Tiny cubes of cucumbers and tomatoes...who eats salad like that? Just do it the way Greeks, Georgians, or Italians do it. There's no need to chop your veggies so small. You're not feeding them to toddlers. The service was good. One of the girls working there does not speak proper English but that's ok. The other girl does. They were very courteous and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. For dessert, I ordered baklava ($4.50) which was overpriced and just ok. Nothing special. They should find a better supplier. I recommend Nonna Amina Turkish Bakery at 7887 Weston Rd, Unit 22 in Woodbridge.

I love Freshii. I love their salads and bowls, I'm addicted. I especially love the new Poke bowls,…read morethe tuna one is SO tasty and filling! This location is one I started visiting because my usual one has been closed. I was hesitant to give it a try, because the other one got to know me - but this one didn't let me down. Always a friendly face with my order ready to go when I visit. My order has always been correct, as I order ahead through their app so I can collect points. This location has a few tables you can eat at, but I never really find eating in these places appealing - maybe it's just in the winter since it gets cold. I'm happy this location was here to serve my Freshii desires - they come weekly so I need to get my fix!

I shared a Mediterranean bowl with falafel, Buddha bowl with chicken, and Oaxaca bowl with steak between 3 people. You can choose to get your freshii order in a bowl or burrito, though the bowl is about $1 higher in price. You can also mix and match the ingredients in the bowl with your protein of choice for an additional $3-4 (and there's a bunch to choose from: chicken, steak, tofu, falafel and hard-boiled eggs). Overall, each of our bowls came to about $11-14, which was reasonable for their good portions. Mediterranean bowl with falafel (4/5): The falafel was delicious! This bowl had a quinoa base with almonds, field greens, tomatoes, cilantro, and red pepper sauce. I'm not sure if the sauce just wasn't included in our order or if their red pepper sauce is actually really mild, but I couldn't taste it with all the ingredients. Buddha bowl with chicken (4.5/5): A really nice combination of cold broccoli, carrots, cabbage, roasted chicken and other veggies on top and hot, delicious rice noodles at the bottom. The peanut butter sauce is also pretty good, but you can request to get in on the side if you want. Oaxaca bowl with steak (5/5): This was my personal favourite! There is a spicy yogurt sauce on top of black bean paste, brown rice, kale and avocado that tastes amazing. A definite must-try!

Firstly the Reuben had a very nice flavour profile with the sauce and the sauerkraut But The smoked meat tasted bland and it was too soft. Which was confirmed in the smoked meat poutine I had for takeout. The smoked meat seemed borderline raw and too soft. There was no bark or crust on the edges. Too bad. Service was attentive though. The jarritos drink in a glass bottle was a nice touch But Not enough for a return visit from me though 3 stars is more than enough. Maybe lower 2 point something with a roundup.

But most people come for the deli sandwiches. There's a good selection of meats, sizes, types of bread and condiments. I got the Montreal smoked meat on an onion bun with french fries. It was big enough that I took half of it home. The taste was excellent. The french fries were just the right crunchiness. There are long wooden tables with stools that can accommodate large groups. There are also booths and regular tables. The décor is unique, with lots of old black and white framed photos on the walls and old-fashioned fuel pumps. The service was very good. The strip mall has plenty of parking available.
