Nagels is no longer accepting consignment guns. They said they have too many. Not sure why they let some consignment guns sit in the store for an extended period of time instead of telling the owner to come get them or lower their prices. I understand if they have to much inventory but that would help with that issue. They could be more selective as to which guns they accept on consignment as well. Hopefully they will start accepting consignments again soon. read more

Very friendly and helpful service. But unless you enjoy paying over twice (2.5X) the price of Academy or Walmart for their lowest priced brass shelled 9mm ammo, don't get your bullets here my friend. A bit of a rip-off, I'd say. All sales final! read more

Customer service is fantastic. If you ever plan on buying an NFA item do it through them. They made the entire process so easy and made sure i understood the entire process. Some reviews say their prices aren't competitive. I disagree, they very often have fantastic deals that beat any other prices i see online or in store. read more

Went a couple days ago to see a firearm, and the first guy that attended me was rude he made it seem like I couldn't afford the firearm and made it seem like I was a delinquent and not a us citizen (it was a older male with glasses with grey and black hair with a beard will update his name) however i went the next day and had the best experience with a worker named Justin 10/10 customer service from him, very helpful and explains everything perfectly with any process and knows his knowledge on anything ,so on my next purchase I will go with him. and if anyone is looking for a firearm go with him 100% recommend him! read more

Nagel's gun shop is the perfect shop for gun lover's. They have a large selection of some of the most exclusive and hard to find guns. I wanted to take a look at the Fusion XP pro and hold it in hand before purchasing. They had those, but I picked up the Canik Prime instead. I grabbed it on 12 April, it wasn't scheduled for release until 15 April. They have everything. If you're interested in Staccato, Atlas, Wilson Combat or any other high end gun you can find it there. They also have great customer service. I'm a retired minority Vet and many gun-shops act hesitant to help me. Not at Nagel's. Justin H. was quick to assist and answered all my questions. I get it... there's a limited number of staff members to help customers but you can walk around their small store for 30+ minutes and never be greeted by a single staff member. You'll never get a "hey! Welcome to Nagels! Look around and we'll be with you as soon as possible"... never mind the fact that the past two times I've been in there, they wouldn't even let me fill out a background check because of how my name is printed on my Driver License. Oh well. I'd rather spend my money at places like Adelbridge and Dury's anyways. Way friendlier staff and they actually let me buy stuff. read more

I purchased a revolver from Nagels over the phone. I went to pick it up and had to wait outside due to the Corona scare. Finally I was allowed to go inside and wait in line to get my gun. Inside is filthy and greasy and stinks. All the workers were wearing their covid mask. While waiting in line this skinny guy with dirty blond hair was walking through the store without a covid mask on. I told a employee the guy wasnt wearing a mask. He said the guy was the owner of Nagels, oh excuse me! I suppose he is exempt! That behavior is totally irresponsible. If I hadn't already purchased the gun I would of left, never again. That place is a pig pen plus I was charged $75.00 for a box of 45 colt ammo. read more

These guys are extremely busy right now, so if you plan on visiting bring your patience. You will be greeted at the door by a very nice young man who will give you an estimate on how long your wait will be. Depending on how busy they are, you may have to wait in your car and they will phone you when its time to get in the store. His sole job is to manage the queue, he cannnot assist with refunds, exchanges or purchases. Dont give the guy a hard time. If you plan on buying a firearm be prepared to wait; I arrived at 9:15 on Wed and there were 3 people in front of me, it took 45 minutes to be called back to purchase and complete paperwork. From that point it was maybe another 30 minutes to walk out with my gun (the process is quicker if you are CHL). If you are just buying ammo, the wait didnt seem to be as long, they have different team members who work with ammo and knives, but again, I was there on a Wed. morning. A firearm is only sold by certain individual, so the wait time will be longer. Even if you purchase your gun over the phone and your background clears, there will still be a wait in the queue, you do not jump to the front of the line because you paid already. Additional paperwork is needed to finalize the sale. If you plan on just entering and browsing the selection thats not going to happen. Most of the guns are in the back storage and not on display AND you will still have to queue. The website is nice and I found what I wanted browsing online. I picked up a Walther PPK/s with walnut grips and worked with a guy named Dennis. Very professional and polite. So, overall, it was a good experience, just be patient. read more

I came here to pick up my first rifle, honestly the workers there were helpful and very patient the whole time.

I recently made a visit at nagels, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the a gentleman at the door. I then was helped by Justin who was able to show me what I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the process very easy. After my purchase Justin then threw in an extra mag for me which was very nice. Called to purchase a Dan Wesson that is difficult to find. Fast Eddie took care of me. He took down my info and local FFL info for an out-of-state purchase. He called back in less than 10 minutes to confirm the price and shipping. Nagel's was $200 less than Palmetto State Armory. Should have ready the verity of reviews before placing an order , should have asked for order and shipping policy as well = buyer beware Recap of issues with Nagel's No clear policy on email and phone orders was provided No order confirmation or shipping information provided with in 24 hours of taking the order : but my MC card was charged instantly and funds were collect by converting pre authorization to actual charge without delivering any service or shipping information - this is against MC Policy No customer service (ZERO SERVICE) , and when this was pointed out to Nagel's there was no attempt to correct, instead it was viewed as an insult by Nagels: facts are facts "no service is bad service" A credit was finally issued and the matter is closed between me and Nagel's Left it to Master Card : to decide what to do with these incompetent people. read more

Waited around for 30+ mins only to be told by some guy who never even looked at my guns that they were "going to pass" on my guns. Went to another shop close by (Dury's Guns) and received excellent customer service and a fair market price with a full explanation for the offer. By far the worst customer service in town . The wait and lack of urgency of staff is ridiculous, what's the point of purchasing on line if it takes forever just to pick up something that's already paid for. By far the worse covid profiteering in town. At least Adelbridge has air conditioning... Flat out ridiculous and condescending staff , paid for a firearm last Saturday and still took almost two hours to finally receive it. They should do the consumer a favor and just say , browsing is on line only, do not come to store unless you are actually going to purchase . Wow, where to begin. Should I start with the 1970s decor, cramped spaces, filthy carpet and no firearm inventory at all? Or should I skip over to the absolutely atrocious customer service? I waited in line for hours for a transfer. Not due to lots of people, but due to a nonsensical sign in policy and almost every worker being lazy, slow and not helpful in anyway. Good luck calling them. Busy signals and the shipping dept couldn't be any ruder. There is a place 100x better right up the road. What a dump this place was. Here is a hint. Tell your employees to develop skills to help on various items. There is an employee for knives only, one for certain ammo, one for this, none for that. Terrible. read more

I purchased a firearm back in June and went to pick up my firearm twice and my back ground check was pending which I understand. Fast forward to today October 28th and they want to charge me a restocking fee of 20% when I would never agree to this, would have waited since it's already been 4 months. I've called the store many of time and had to be the one to reach out to them cause only received one call back from Mark that was to tell me he is looking into the matter and that one phone call was 10/7/2022. I felt like they were not taking my issue seriously and Mark made me feel like I was making up conversations I had with one of his employees even with my husband present. I have given them My business for the last time and very unsatisfactory with customer service and the fact that they feel like they can keep my hard working money by thinking one phone call back to a customer was good enough for them. read more
