Got a to-go order at this restaurant last night, went to pick up order, the restaurant ambience looked good. Our order was Drunken noodles, Hot Basil and fried rice ( paid extra) and appetizer Fried Calamari. The good first, the drunken noodles were awesome. Very tasty, right spice, right portions and super good. The Calamari was good but it's a lot less for $9, the portions were super small. The Hot Basil was tasty but the meat vegetable ratio was very bad and the bad part the extra fried was so teeny. It was packed in a styrofoam container which was melted and bent out of form because of the heat. We were here for a soccer showcase, this is not going to feed a hungry soccer teen. Very poor portions for the price. What is there in providing a little extra portion of fried rice when charging extra. SMH! One hungry person will need 2 Entree's at this place. read more

Doesn't look much on the outside but let me tell you. This place is a little gold mine here in Goldsboro. Has a cool bar area and it's a cool little spot. The Satay is a great street food and the peanut sauce was so good! The chicken was high quality! The Tom sum or papaya salad is very refreshing change with it being a hot summers day. I like spice and I asked for a 3 out of 1-5 spice level. It was really good! I would even say authentic. If I was living in Goldsboro this is my Go-To!!! The pricing is pretty steep for the portion size that is my only thing that I have as a negative with this spot! read more

Being Asian and coming from Hawaii with diverse food restaurants, this place is a little far from authentic. However, it's not bad at all. I understand the history of this place, but I doubt it's cuisine is still made in the same manner. Their pho is ok. Not the best, but it's not the worst either. Their egg roll or their summer roll (both fresh and fried), are subpar. The pineapple fried rice was decent, the pad thai was delicious, and their fried tilapia was bomb. Their boba tea is lacking though so I'd pass on that. This place is as close as I can get to Thai food (or even a little other Asian cuisine), so I'll keep coming back, but don't get your hopes up if you're wanting authentic thai dishes. Customer service is great. I think the older gentleman is the owner, regardless of who he is, he's really nice. read more

Went for Pho... it was AMAZING. Level 4 was yummy but definitely still spicy (even for someone who eats spice regularly ‍) I would go for 3 next time to have a more comfortable spice and add chili oil if need be. The service was just as amazing, the servers are attentive and explain meals if need be -- our group had never had Thai before. Overall, loved the food. 10/10 read more

We randomly picked this from the 2 Thai restaurants in Goldsboro, NC. I'm so glad we did! Social distancing possible, wait staff masked, hand sanitizer on each table, clean well equipped restrooms. Safety first. Door Dash and take out were popular options. Check. Now for the food! Five stars all the way! We met Larry, he and credits his wife and her sisters as the masterminds behind this authentic Thai restaurant. Much of it cited as family favorites straight from the sisters' mother. It has an extensive menu, at reasonable prices, full of choices, some very healthy. We had chicken wraps, and these were different from what we usually have. Nice addition of veggies. I had the Yum Nua salad, which I loved. Great combination of steak, veggies, spices, and zip. Hubby had the Khao Soi Kapow! Also very good with huge amounts of tender white meat chicken. We were looking for a lunch place in the area that wasn't eastern carolina bbq and found Nai Thai 2 restaurant. We have had lunch here a couple of times now when we are in town. We enjoy the food and the flavors are delicious. It is a small place but very comfortable seating. read more

Lovely little place my colleagues and I found while working for a few days in Goldsboro. The ambiance is very nice and there's lots of beer choices! The food is wonderful. I had the green curry with tofu (I'm a vegetarian) and chose to order it mild and add my own heat with the spices they brought to the table. The food was good. The pad Thai was okay, it tasted a little diluted from the typical pad Thai flavors I'm used to in other Thai restaurants. The pho was also different since they only offered beef broth versus other options. It overpowered the other flavors in the pho. It is Thai pho versus Vietnamese pho which is what we're used to. Delicious food, great ambiance awesome service! I started the night with crab rangoon and calamari for the appetizers. I wasn't too pleased with the calamari, it tasted a little overcooked. After the apps, I had Tom Ka soup (coconut based with veggies and chicken). It was different other places, a little more zesty and less coconut which I thoroughly enjoyed. My main entree was the pad-see-ew (flat noodles with veggies and I chose chicken for the protein). I also opted for extra spicy. This dish is one of my favorite entrees from Thailand, after my first bite it was hard to stop. To finish the night I had to have sticky sweet rice with mango. Really great food and the place is beautifully decorated. We got the crab rangoon as an appetizer, it was really good. Very creamy but small. I got the orange chicken and bf got pad see ew. The lrange chicken was pretty good. Nice sized portion. It was served with jasmine rice. The chicken is fried but not what you would find in an american chinese restaurant which was good. The sauce had subtle orange flavor and not overpowering. Bf's pad see ew was really good too. He got medium spice which wasn't overpowering but if you are sensitive to spice, stick with none or mild.
