I explained my symptoms and the intake person didn't believe me when I said I had a sore throat from my post nasal drip. He didn't write down any of my other symptoms. You are expected to go in and know what you want. The provider would not prescribe antibiotics because i will build a tolerance no shit but also maybe they will work?! She "prescribed" claritin d which does not require a prescription, just an ID to purchase. Did not work. She assured me at the visit that I could do a virtual visit if I didn't get better. Now my symptoms are so much worse. I called to schedule a virtual and I have to schedule it with the same provider? Why?? No idea. I saw this lady once for 5 minutes. And none of these people are rocket scientists. They will not diagnose or know what I have. I said I specifically want a prescription for something stronger. They called me a bunch of times with a lot of back and forth and I said I will just go somewhere else. Advice to everyone, go somewhere else. Maybe i will try One Medical

Some highlights to speak on: 1) Parking is ample, both street parking and the lot that is tucked behind the building. 2) Wait time is minimal (~10 min if that?) when you enter to check in for your appointment. By the time you're finished filling out all the necessary forms, a nurse comes out and calls you to take vitals. 3) Everyone is kind is professional. My PCP at this practice is Dr. Kwabena Owusu and he is THE BEST. I actually had my annual physical with him today. Very personable, easy going, and friendly. One time I had a mild scare (too embarrassing to go into detail lols) and called the office to see if he could fit me in. Despite him having a full schedule, he was willing to quickly fit me in for a quick 10-15 consultation for my issue. He is wonderful and would recommend him if anyone is looking for a PCP. I'm actually surprised that there are such low ratings for this practice, but I don't require much. As long as people are professional, generally nice, and don't speak down/at me, I'm a happy camper.

I found it funny that he has had a relationship with a doctor so long, because I'm always hopping from one place to the next. About a year and a half ago my husband came down with a very high fever out of nowhere. I took him to the emergency room several times and they always sent us home saying to just get more fluids and to take a tylenol. The third time we took him to the emergency room is when they realized that he had come down with a very bad E Coli infection that could have turned septic without appendix surgery. Since my husband's parents were out of town on a cruise, Dr. Ferrer stepped in and made sure that shizz got DONE. She is super strict, brisk, and old school which I found to be a bit shocking but I can't say that the women is not effective. Within a few days the hubs was feeling better and luckily has only visited her a few times since then for his yearly check ups. I have a feeling when we have a family he will make sure our kids go to her as well!

Every time I visit, I have to wait for a long time till I get upset. I wish the front ladies would consider this and be more helpful in giving appointments. I visit my other specialists and never have to wait that long; the maximum wait time is 5-8 minutes.

I was told two weeks ago that Dr. Royfe was reviewing/interviewing new patient requests and would get back with me in the next day or so...I phoned in a week later to check in and was told I would receive a phone call back that day or within 20 minutes. My true desire was to get an ALCAT exam so that I could find out what is going on with my body. No phone calls to say yes or no. Simply irresponsible. I sure hope when Dr. Royfe one day is on the other side of that telephone, he get's a doctor that treats him with the respect and dignity he so left out from a potential new patient. I have found these things are very rare in doctors. Dr. Nelson is one of the best doctors I've met. She is respectful of your time and attentive to your concerns. She is easy to talk to and understand. She does this while still getting you in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Despite filing two tickets with Allcare, the issue has t been resolved in five months. Absolutely ridiculous. Allcare is seeking to be your primary care physician. We bought into that and gave it a chance. Now, I regret it. Absolutely clueless folks working in the billing and payments section. I wouldn't send my enemies here.

This office is hard to reach and reception at the "main location" is terrible. Most of the time no one picks up. I have noticed that unlike other dr offices you can only be seen with an appointment. Which is fine and dandy for wellness visits but when sickness happens sporadically you are basically forced to go elsewhere. My little girl has been sick (negative covid) for 4 days. They won't see her because of the symptoms without a covid test they preform. Before that test can even be done you need a televisit. Once that's done then you can wait in the covid line and then schedule an appointment. The hoops are ridiculous and as others have said a disgrace on the medical profession. Because of the service, despite the amazing drs we may need to look elsewhere. I see now why the turnover is so high here. As an adult I've had to switch drs about 4 times. It's the same for my husband. As a professional I would not want to be associated with the clerical staff...
