Came to get a mani and pedi with regular polish. Left disappointed in the service. Annie did my "Deluxe" pedicure and Kathy did my Manicure. The pedicure was decent, the polish looks decent and the service was just ok. I could have definitely stuck to the most basic pedicure instead. The manicure is where the biggest disappointment is. The clean up and shaping was ok, felt rushed but ok. The polish on the other hand, I could have done a better job at home myself. The polish is like a big glob and thick, there are parts of the nail missing polish. The coats of color or clear coat are not uneven. The color clean up was not done well. It's been over an hour and the polish is still not fully dry because it's so thick. I am taking this off and just doing my own polish at home. Timmy paid close attention to my nails and typically I can feel uncomfortable or in pain when they trim my cuticles or file my nails but this experience was painless and very relaxing. The salon is ADORABLE. Very new and modern. There's street parking available which is nice! I ended up paying $90 for gel x w/ the ombré & it was well worth it. Aida did a great job. Pedicure chairs were comfy. I came here since I didn't feel like going to a mega busy stressful nail salon. This place was definitely more relaxing compared to other nail salons. Music was still a little loud it was very bright in there (but that's just me I prefer more dimmer lights/lower music) but that's hard to find in a nail salon. They have a wide variety of colors, (I did butter yellow). Prices were fair. Staff were kind, caring, and provided great customer service. I would come again. I'm currently on a manicure break but would definitely come again. They had charms for display and the girl across me was getting a design done. To their credit, the salon gave me 10% off my service since mine was the one delayed, which I appreciated. We decided to upgrade our services to one of their more luxurious pedicures, hoping for a relaxing and consistent experience across the board. Sadly, there wasn't much consistency, as each of our pedicures was done differently even though we had all paid for the exact same upgrade. From the techniques used to the amount of time spent, the services felt uneven and didn't match the price we paid. My personal experience was even more disappointing because my pedicure not only started 30 minutes late due to the staff shortage, but it was also completed in just a half hour. Meanwhile, the other two pedicures took a full hour, which is what I expected when paying for an upgraded service. It left me feeling rushed and shortchanged, even though I paid for the same treatment as my family members. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the lack of consistency in the services and the shortened experience for me means I won't be returning.
