My girlfriend and I love trying out new nail salons and we found this place on yelp. There was such great reviews about this place so we decided to check it out. We had a 10:00am appointment last Saturday for two no chip manicures. They opened at exactly 10:00am and people were already lined up. I had never see anything like it. The check in process was fast and efficient. We were offered beverages right away. At first, it seemed a little chaotic but there was a lot of structure with all this madness. Also! Their no chip color selection was amazing!! I had never seen so many colors in my life!! I had checked out the services they provided, alongside the nail art and I was blown away. I had brought a picture of what I wanted and this was the first time ever a salon was able to match it. The nail tech who did my nails, Hanh, was an artist! She was so quick and she did an amazing job! Not to mention, she was also very sweet. She kept checking up with me as far as the shape of the nail and made sure I was 100% involved in anything she did with my nails which I appreciated. As a regular customer, was really disappointed with my last visit. After spending $35 on a pedicure and $20 on a manicure, I was still charged $10 to take my no chip off. The woman who works the front desk even asked the owners if i am still to be charged $10 after all my other services and they told her yes. Spending $55 in nail services should put me into the same category of taking it off for free, as they do if you're getting another no chip. It's just bad business. Took over an hour and a half to get a dip manicure just for me to leave and realize the woman used a SPARKLE polish on my nails which was not what I requested. She also used a base coat as my top coat and overall just didn't seem to know what she was doing. I picked a brown color and was given pink, figured it was fine and maybe a weird lighting in the salon but after walking out realized I paid $50 for a manicure that simply isn't even close to the color I asked for. I even double checked and said is this the color I asked for and she said yes it was just the lighting. This is just not the color I asked for - I know because I didn't pick one off the glitter section AND because I already had the color I asked for on my nails - same brand and everything. I used their online booking through Instagram to book a black pedicure! I showed up a little early but called to let them know I was there and they let me come in. Everyone was wearing masks, and they are taking really good precautions during these unknowing times. The pedicure chairs are massage chairs, and they do not sit you next to anyone, they leave two chairs of space! My tech was Agi, and she was so nice and got rid of my ingrown nails which is exactly what I went in for. For $39 the black pedicure included a massage, three different scrubs for my legs and feet, and the choice between a paraffin wax or hot stones. I tried the paraffin wax for the first time and it was amazing! It left my feet feeling so soft. I picked regular nail polish and after two weeks, it had not begun to chip. I rarely write reviews. However, I have been looking for a salon like this for years!! I can not tell you how many different salons I have tried, and been disappointed time, and time again. I think the gentleman doing my nails could tell that I was nervous. It was my first time here, and my first time trying dip powder. I have been told that the dip is thicker then no-chip- which worried me. I hate thick nails. I kept stressing to the nail tech that I love my nails as thin as possible. He kept saying "don't worry, I will make your nails perfect". Honestly, he kept his word. The shape is perfect, the color and design is exactly what I wanted, and they aren't too thick. The salon was very cute and clean. The staff was friendly and they all spoke English, which is a huge plus!! It was easy to communicate what I wanted. Alright, I came to get my nails done here for the first time the past weekend and I am so glad I did! Firstly, they have a promotion going on for $10 off your first dip manicure, which was exactly what I needed done. Already off to a great start. I booked my appointment a couple days beforehand over the phone. I requested Sara for a dip mani and regular pedi and was able to book an appointment with her about a half hour later than the original time I wanted, so no biggie. But, on the day of, my mom decided she wanted to get a pedicure too. I called the salon about 4 hours before I was supposed to have my appointment and asked if they could fit my mom in for a pedi when I was supposed to get my nails done. They told me they wouldn't be able to take her until 2 hours after my appointment, but when I asked if I could be moved back to the time they had available for her, they were more than willing to accommodate. They informed me that Sara wouldn't be available then but I was willing to take the risk on another nail tech to spend some time with my mom. Fast forward a few hours and we arrive to a beautiful and clean salon! Parking was very easy and they were ready for us right on time, I actually had to ask for a couple minutes to look through their color selection, which is pretty good. Everyone was super friendly and acknowledged us as soon as we walked in & made sure we would be able to sit next to each other. My mom and I sat down for our pedis and I had someone start my pedi off until -surprise!- Sara came over and was available to do my nails! It was such a pleasant surprise and let me tell ya, she literally gave me the best pedicure I've ever gotten. Like, my toenails have honestly never looked better. She's AMAZING. Also, she gave such a great calf massage that actually lasted longer than 30 seconds!!!! It's the little things. Onto the manicure, she absolutely killed it. My nails look divine. She constantly was checking in with me to make sure I liked them and even put a tip on one of my nails that had broken pretty low, because she knew I wanted to keep them long. I am hooked. However, when I left and head home and saw that my nails were a little bumpy and some "globs?" Like she painted over to cover some errors she made? Its a bit frustrating when you are looking at them up close cause you see the mistake. However, very pretty from far away. I gave 2 stars because wasn't feeling the receptionist and my nails had some bumps and mistakes. The place is small and clean! I would give it 4 stars it I didn't have these mistakes on my nails. Im pretty picky about straight lines by the cuticles and getting the sides right so I was very disappointed as I noticed she just carelessly splotched on the polish and used her nails to wipe off the sides that got all over my skin. Also, she did not ask me what shape I wanted and just filed it down very short and round (my nail shape is square). Will not be coming back to her... was definitely not worth $35. They keep adding more charges so if you go here make sure you plan ahead on spending A LOT!! You CANNOT go here of you get your nails done almost every month.
