Sat 1/11, I got my eyebrows done by one lady which she took her time. I realized when I got home, my right side was thinner than my left. After that, I got a pedicure done by another lady. I barely soaked my feet and lady started working on it. I guess the pro is that they have massage chair. Also, the price is cash/Venmo or else they charge a 3% credit card fee.... Sat 1/18, I came back at 9:30am for gel man but was closed. I came back at 9:45am still closed. Came again at 11:20am and a lady was there. I told her I was here earlier but was closed. She thanked me for coming back. Well, I couldn't use Venmo because the owner wasn't there. I barely had enough cash also, it was done in 20mins!. I came in with an old, chipped set of a french tip gel manicure and i needed a fill. it was my first time being here and Vanessa worked so fast with great detail I was out of there in like 45 minutes :) She puts Coppertone sunscreen on the backs of your hands to protect your skin when you put them in the UV lamp, which I thought was cool. I got full set at Stonestown for my wedding. I have super ugly hands and the set they put on looked like thick claws. I've been coming to Nail Arts since 2010 and I hope my customer loyalty is a testament to the quality of this salon. I've tried salons all over SF, LA, Spokane in WA, and even Cape Town in South Africa throughout the past 10+ years for waxing and threading and none can compare to the way my brows look when Jennifer does them! In my opinion, there's no better place to get an eyebrow wax! I also come here for gel manicures and normal pedicures and they're consistently amazing. This place might not look super aesthetic (there are no fancy spa tubs to put your feet in for a pedicure and for waxes you walk up a narrow flight of stairs to go on to a covered upper balcony that's a pretty tight squeeze) but I am always happy with my experience and the end results of my waxes/manis/pedis. They accept walk ins but I always like to give them a call before I head over to see if they have time to take me on! read more

The work lasts a long time, especially if you choose Opi polish. The women working here are thorough, very kind and also quick. We chose the Deluxe mani/pedis today. Everything turned out great. They also asked how short or long we wanted our nails, rather than jumping in first. They also give you plenty of dry time before putting your shoes back on. I made a call for a last-minute pedicure appointment since my gap in between two arrangements was extended. They were able to accommodate me within 15 minutes which was great. The shop was smaller than expected but it was good enough since there was only one other customer in there drying her nails. The lady that did my pedicure was efficient. The massage started with two hot stone which was a nice gesture. The actual massage itself was more as putting lotion on legs and feet, no pressure. Because of the time allowance I had, I only asked for buffing with no polish. The whole service was done in 35 minutes including soaking my feet. read more

I'm impressed by this place. I have extra short nails and nail beds so sometimes it can be a challenge finding a good nail salon that knows what they're doing when putting on acrylics or gel acrylics. Especially getting them to stay on longer than 7 days. After a bad experience at another nail salon in the city, I checked Yelp, saw the good reviews of this place and went here. I've gotten my gel acrylics or regular acrylics done here about 8 times in the past year. The first time my nails were VERY short...like bitten down to the nub short. The person doing them assured me she'd be able to put them on appropriately and that they'd last. I could tell immediately that she knew what she was doing. She also informed me that when nails are as short as mine, it's much easier for the nail to pop off when doing anything requiring nails, so advised me to avoid any popping of soda cans etc. until the next fill. They all stayed on until my next fill which was almost three weeks later. This last time I went back and got acryclics, she noticed after they were done drying that the polish hadn't completely dried. Apparently she saw some flaw in the polish that I couldn't even see, but she took the time to put new polish on the tip, dry them, re-coat with clear polish, and put them back under the UV. Also, this is the only place I've found that does great eyebrow waxing for the price. I've been to three other places in the Sunset that have been subpar at best. However, here they've always been shaped very nicely, the wax isn't *singe your eyelids hot*, and they tweeze them appropriately...and very well for that matter. You can tell they've been doing it a long time and know what the hell they're doing. A++ read more

They have a pretty decent selection of gel nail polish so I was already getting excited. I was so lucky to get my master (unfortunately, didn't catch her name): she gently removed all the dead skin around my nails without cutting in the finger (which happens very often). We usually get our nails done at Richmond Nail Salon but we came here because we were close by. The place is not the cleanest or the best looking but they got the job done. I like places that are more relaxing, with chairs & music. Or at least a place that offers you tea. I think this place is also expensive for a gel manicure, because they charge you for taking your gel off. I liked the manicure in the end, but I don't think I'll come back. I think I'll stick with Richmond Nail Salon even though it's a little far for me. read more

It's so hard for me to find a nail salon that I love, but when i needed to get my nails done after work, i found nail arts! On my first visit, i was with Jennifer and she is amazing! She took her time with my nails and made it look better (the last salon, made the filling too thick and my nails did not look natural) but Jennifer fixed it all! she made me nails look really good and everyone always thinks that my nails are natural. I always go back 2-3 weeks diligently to get them filled and i love how she remembers me! it's best to get an appointment.
