I had two consecutive visits with a manicurist named Linda. The first time she did my nails, the quality of the work left a lot to be desired; the gel work looked damaged only after 3 days on work that should normally hold up for one and a half to two weeks. I mentioned it to Linda, who told me I should have come back. On my recent visit, there was quite a bit of rough treatment from this manicurist, from not showing the care and respect I have received from others in the shop to scraping my nails and digging into my cuticles excessively hard. There was more, but I will stop here. Sadly, I will not be returning to that nail shop.

The new owner Kang was incredibly affable and made conversation with us, plus they have loyalty cards so if you go 10 times, you get a free manicure. APPOINTMENTS ARE HIGHLY SUGGESTED. Because they are so detail-oriented and have 1:1 customer service, you may wait over an hour if you're a walk-in, like the lady who was in the shop while my friend and I were getting our nails done. Also, budget time to get your nails done. My friend and I were at the salon for 3.5 hours because there was only one employee (Y) doing our nails. She did my pedi and both me and my friends' manis. This wasn't a problem and the vibe of the salon is super quiet and nice, and we didn't have anything else to do. But I can see this being a problem to somebody who has other things to do. This was the best manicure I've ever had. Y did an amazing job and truly cared about giving me what I asked for. Kang also gave me a really nice foot and calf massage that was included. Plus, the pricing was really not bad. $180 for a pedicure (with chrome), builder gel with 3D accents and French tip, this would all be $250 at another salon for worse quality. I've had so many times where a lash artist had said it would be wispy and cat eye and then I get the thick fuzzy caterpillar lashes and they're open eye and make my already big eyes look scary af. The nail sets can last for 4-5 weeks and I have never had a nail chip, break or peel. My nails are the healthiest they have ever been and I love love love getting my nails done here. The service is incredible and the technicians are so kind as well as talented! Lily usually does my nails and she is so lovely to work with. Vincy owns the salon and does incredible work herself. These women are artists, truly! I've brought my friends, family, and boyfriend here and I'll continue to do so as long as I live in this city (which will be a long time).
