Left her bleeding a couple of times, and rough with the alcohol to clean after. We will be going back, will just give heads up to be more gentle with my daughter for future acrylics.

I took my boyfriend and daughter for pedicures, for what was suppose to be some fun quality time, since we don't get this time together often. When we walked in, the hostess wasn't very kind. No smiles and no welcome, just a "Hi, what are you here for, ok, sign in". And, literally just walks away. The space looked nice & modern. I honestly thought that we could move beyond this if the service was good. Well, unfortunately, we just kept getting let down. We were the very first customers there, as it was early, and almost felt like we were imposing, when we were THEIR guests/customers. Needless to say, multiple toes were cut from rough handling and one even bled, paint jobs were not good at all, and my daughter picked multiple colors that weren't available due to them being dried out. They even hurt her little 6 yr old toes. She comes with me to Temecula for pedicures, when we have the time, with beautiful experiences, and we have never had any issues with her. Not to further nitpick, but the music was so loud & not a relaxing mix, which was the least of our concerns. It just added to everything. So, to sum things up, I am from the tipping industry. I lived off of tips for the majority of my life, so I honestly respect tipping and understand the importance & purpose of it. Our experience from start to finish was so so bad. $95 later, which is a normal rate, I honestly felt that my normal $25 tip & sometimes more, depending on the financial month, lol, wasn't deserved. I always happily go in expecting to tip & expecting to spend. Today was not it. As I paid the tab, I unfortunately felt compelled to only tip $12 for all, which I know is super minimal. Believe me, I am fully aware. Do you know what the hostess did? She looked me straight in the face & said, "This is it for 3 people?" I couldn't believe it. I would have tipped my usual over 20% if the pedicures were at least good, without bleeding, bad energy & horrible customer service etc... But, the nerve of this woman to not only be rude from the start, but then try to call us out at the end? I'm appalled! And again, I'm truly a believer that Tips are EARNED! They are not required. I believe in tipping and tipping well. Moral of the story: I will never set foot in this establishment again, nor should you, and I'm actually sad that this was our experience, so close to home.

This is really directed to the owners, Nia and Dan, who seem to do great work and are often booked out. Unfortunately, this experience was not a good representation of your business. I am one satisfied customer! I had a lovely first experience at The Nail Bar Menifee. I wanted to get my toes done and did not have time to plan a visit to my regular salon so I tried Nail Bar as it was closer to my home. They were able to take me same day. I have such long legs that attempting to polish my own toes takes too much effort and it ends up looking horrible so I much rather relax and have someone else do it. Upon arriving at the salon, I noticed the upscale and modern feel of the salon. The grey floor gives a hard wood impression while the crisp white lines of the cabinets with black leather seating and blue accents are a nice touch. You are seated in a black leather massage chair. It takes a little bit of trial and error to figure out the best massage for you. I loved the nice water jets for the jacuzzi like action in the tub. Immediately after being seated, you are given a menu with a choice of a complimentary beverage. You can select water, soft drink or for those who are 21 and older, a glass of wine, champagne or mimosa. I was not expecting that! The wine was a welcome treat after a long work day. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Kate. She was very personable. She was talkative and friendly without being nosy or overbearing. I enjoyed chatting with her. I found out that she has only been working at the salon for three years. I was impressed by the level of sanitation the salon has. The nail file, foot scrubber and buffer come in an individually wrapped package so you know that you are getting brand new equipment. I came in with gel polish on my toes so I knew I would have to pay more to have it removed but I appreciated that Kate gave me a heads up that it would cost $10 more. I once tried to get gel polish off myself and was it a hassle. I will pay a nominal fee and leave it up to the professionals. I got the lavender package for $30. It includes lavender essential oil placed in with the water, yellow sea salt scrub on your legs during the massage and a callus treatment for the bottom of your feet. I enjoyed each treatment. The leg massage was magical. Between the tapping of the massage chair, Kate's gentle touch and the wine, it would have been very easy for me to fall asleep. For $40, I thought it was a fair price to pay for great service and overall result. I will be coming back again. See you in a few weeks Kate. read more

I received a mediocre pedicure from nail bar. I have heard great things about nail bar, and someone gave me a gift card so I thought I would finally give it a try. I went for the lavender pedicure which included a callus remover, foot scrub, and ten minute massage. She barely even scrubbed my feet to take any callus off. The polish looks good but I really went for my overall feet to look good. Also, i have a slight ingrown toe nail and she didn't even try to fix it. I would have been fine but the thing that really upset me was that my technician dropped a towel on the floor right in front of me and still tried to use it. Part of the reason I was trying out nail bar is because my mom is going through chemo and really wants a pedicure. Therefore, we are trying to find a clean place for her to go get one since she's at a super high risk of infection. After seeing that I knew this was not the place for us. Also, the place wasn't very clean and it was pretty dusty behind the chairs. Maybe I went on an off day because it wasn't too busy, but I was really surprised since they came so highly recommended. read more

So I'm torn. I like the two girls that did my nails and pedi but I had an appt at 1:00 and don't leave until 4:45. I even got there early at 12:30. I told the girl at the front desk what all I wanted but it never got to the people doing the work. For my nails and pedi I paid 78.00. 48 for the nails ( gel build up fill, poka dots on two nails, a small heart on two nails, and my cuticles trimmed) and 30.00 for my pedi (it should of been 26.00 cause I picked the cellus remover one for my heels and the charged me and extra 4.00 for cellus removal on my heels...). Felt bad not leaving a tip but in the end all I got was a sorry. No let me take off the 4 for cellus removal and you just pay what it should of been. Nothing. I even made a point before I let to tell the girl who messed up that I had been there for 5 hour in front of her boss and all I got was " I know". I'm not asking for much or even any thing but I was over charged and was there too long. read more

I was treated so badly at this place! The lady doing my nails did not do the color that I asked. When I noticed the one toenail that she did in the wrong color, I said something and she got very irritated with me as if I had done something wrong?? She proceeded to tell me why I should do that color and I told her I would really like the color that I stated in the first place she threw her hands up and said "I'm going get someone else to do your nails." I sat there, shocked, not knowing what I had done to this lady!! After that, she proceeded to just finish my nails and at the end she tried to overcharge me by five dollars stating that she had fixed a nail for me that was broken and I didn't have any broken nail. She simply did a pedicure.!!! I insisted that she take off the five dollars and she did . I do not know what in the world I did for this lady, but she just did not like me and treated me badly. I had such a great experience with Ethan! I previously had my nails done at another nail shop in Menifee, and was very disappointed with how rushed they were (in and out in 15 mins for a full acrylic set! ). I left with uneven nails and acrylic everywhere. Off of great recommendations of Ethans work from friends and clients I figured I give Nail Bar a shot. I was so impressed by how clean and beautiful the salon is. I was greeted by the receptionist and offered something to drink while I waited.I was even more impressed by Ethan. He is funny and most importantly did such a beautiful job on my nails. He took his time and made sure they were perfect. Best ever! Henry and Ethan care first and foremost about making the customer happy, they take care of all of their customers, are attentive and flexible. Henry's been doing my mom's, my sisters and my nails for three years now, and we've been getting our nails done for decades...he is the best we've ever gone to. He pays attention to the shape of your nails and always takes his time to make sure your nails are strong, beautiful and will last. They are pleasant people to be around and watching him and Ethan and the staff build the Nail Bar and design everything speaks to the fact that they take their work seriously. the guy that did my nails is extremely disturbing. he said the F work idk how many times and used sexual references towards me and made me extremely uncomfortable. He took almost 2 hours to do my nails and they turned out TERRIBLE. I have never had such a terrible experience. he only works there two days a week. That said, for classic nails they do a great job and my nails always look great when I leave. I would never want anyone to spend their hard-earned money here and leave feeling as disappointed and disrespected as I did. I had a 5:30 PM appointment for a Gel-X full set and a gel pedicure. From the second I walked in, the attitude was ridiculous. No welcoming, no professionalism, just straight-up rude behavior. Danny did my nails. I showed him the design I wanted, which was nothing complicated. When he started shaping my nails, I asked him to make them shorter because I'm a NURSE who works with BABIES. Instead of simply shortening them, he laughed at me. I then chose a maroon color, and the color put on my nails was nowhere near what I asked for. I asked for a second coat because I wanted them darker, and once again, he laughed. I genuinely don't understand what was so funny about a paying customer asking for the service and color they wanted. The pedicure was somehow even worse. The woman doing my toes clearly had no idea what she was doing. I asked her to shorten my toenails, and she grabbed CUTICLE CUTTERS. I specifically told her about my ingrown toenails beforehand, and she didn't even attempt to address them. The polish was uneven, messy, and honestly looked like something I could have done myself at home. At this point, it was already 7:30 PM. I was exhausted and ready to get the hell out of there, so I told her I didn't want the massage. One of the men sitting by the door asked, "You don't want a massage?" I said, "No, I'm ready to go home." I had already been there for TWO HOURS and was completely over the experience. The worst part is that I walked in expecting a relaxing experience and walked out irritated, disappointed, and feeling completely disrespected. I have NEVER had a nail salon experience this bad. Bad service is one thing, but the attitude, laughing at me, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for what I was asking for made this experience unacceptable. I disputed the transaction with my bank because, in my opinion, the service I received was absolutely not worth what I was charged. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration. There are plenty of nail salons where you can actually receive decent service and basic respect. This place will NOT be getting my business again.

I…read morewas at the salon for over 2 1/2 hours and spent a significant amount of money yet the results are very poor. My manicure had uneven white tips, mismatched nail sizes and overall sloppy application. I had to ask Cindy, the nail tech, to correct several issues, and even after that the quality is not acceptable. Also, concerning my pedicure left me with a crooked toenail, which has never happened to me before this experience has been extremely disappointing and I hope this salon takes this feedback seriously.

Went in for pedicure and fill, The pedicure was great, however the nail technician took offense…read morewhen I pointed out a nail that was crooked. She said , looks good to me what do you want. I was initially very polite and spoke softly as I didn't want to make an issue as it seemed to be an easy fix. Instead she insisted it was my nail that grew out that way from the previous set ? Absolutely wrong because the previous set I had were perfect. She quickly and aggressively took my hand and started filing. But not before and all the while discussing it with her coworkers in a foreign language and with a very rude manner. Several of them 2/3 looked at me and started talking back and giggling. I know she was complaining about me who simply asked for her to fix a very crooked nail. She then held my hand up and rudely says ok fixed what do you want me to do now? I decided to not discuss the issue anymore and just said that's fine. She quickly walked away to do nothing but sit at the end of the counter with another coworker or freind. I should have left the minute I sat down when she left stacks of color books on my lap and didn't let me turn on the massage chair. The manager who is always amazing was not there. I will be calling her to discuss this horrible situation. This salon is convenient for me and I've had pleasant experiences but not this technician. She does not meet the standards or quality that I've come to expect from this salon.
