Not only did Angel and the front desk person listen but they went above and beyond on making sure I was ok. My schedule changes a lot, so I am not able to make appointments, but every tech that has done my nails has done an amazing job. I was in charge of finding a nail place for her and from other positive reviews we decided on Nail Bar One, and we were not disappointed! If you're in search of a new nail place, or visiting from out of town and need a recommendation, this is the place! The staff were very friendly, the salon was clean and the nail technician worked with my niece to make sure she got exactly what she wanted for her special day. We even got yummy beverages while we were there which was a nice touch. For days after she was still getting compliments on her nails! There are much better salons with better staff. Prices are higher than other salons in area and nails were average and my technician did the minimum. I got same design at another salon for $20 less at another salon. There also is an outrageously rude technician that is very aggressive and argumentative. Not many people in salon. read more

I wish I could score this place as a "zero!" but since I can't, let me elaborate..... they left my friend wit practically 1-2 degree burns/if not intense irritation with scarring/blemishes when she got a wax...not only that the tech was aggressive, The whole experience was Ludacris and she got harmed from it... not only will they not provide a refund in a reasonable manner or set of time,they told her to wait two business days to see improvement of the issue,then she shall "see" about a refund .... Why must I wait two days when the issue is present in real life as we speak.... As consumers I understand we hold certain places to ridiculous magnitude..but for this instance it was a simple eyebrow wax and when the situation went haywire it wasn't handled or accommodated properly!! Well, after my first visit I absolutely loved this place. Then for my second visit I took in my daughter (preteen) before school started. We both got manicures, and she was right next to me. The woman who did my nails was very professional, nice, etc. However, the woman who did my daughter's nails (she has short hair, is very thin, and was wearing a black shirt from Jamaica or something?) was very rude. She did a pretty good job on the nails, but she was talking on her phone via bluetooth the ENTIRE time, didn't say more than a few words to my daughter, and when she did talk to her, it was something short, stern, and once or twice my daughter said that the lady smacked her hand and told her to relax. Besides all of that, at the beginning she asked me if I wanted a certain design for my daughter and I said it was fine, but she failed to tell me that there was an up-charge PER NAIL for that until AFTER it was done. read more

I absolutely love Tammy! She does a fabulous job! Everyone there did my whole families nails and they were fantastic, nice, striked up a great conversation. The music is a bit repetitive a bit with some oldies (not too much of the classics) I did get Tina for my nails one time and she messed up really bad, however they did get slammed but we paid a bit of money so I would think we would get a bit better service. BUT she offered a complete redo for free, whatever I wanted. i read fantastic reviews and decided to try it out. My first time there, and sadly won't be returning. I'm just a simple Mani/ pedi girl. No fancy la de da, so wasn't expecting the hoo la, but the only ho laa was the cocktail they offered. That's probably why i chose 2 stars... Great influence ya know? So i filled out the paperwork after being a menu of wonderful sounding options... Thought it was a little crazy to pay an extemporaneous amount of my husband's hard earned money to paint my nails, but heck I work hard to. So i splurged on the "Green Tea" pedicure and also checked the paper for an exclusive manicure . Never got it. It was dead in the salon. The other 2 people were getting mani's and pedicures simotaniously, but not me. Just watching the other workers take a nap while I'm waiting for a simple manicure as my lack luster polish dry on my way unevenly cut toe nails looking like i attempted to polish them after my happy juice... so anyway, after an hour and half i said thank you, tipped fat and split. Couldn't bring myself to justify sticking around to see how my finger nails might also dissatisfy me. So i decided i will just go home and paint them myself. There ya go! My review. read more

I heard great things about this place and have been looking for a reliable nail salon. I asked if they could do a fill even though I got my set done at another salon and they said that is wasn't a problem. I told them what I wanted and they said it would be $90... for a fill with a simple design.. but I agreed knowing that I would get the nails I want. I left loving my nails however they didn't even last a week before 2 broke and it hasn't even been 2 weeks and now 3 are broke. I am not rough on my nails and all 3 times the nail broke was not my fault ( one I picked up a box and it broke, second I was putting on my shoe and the nail broke and third I was opening my car door). I have gone to so many different salons and have seen the worst and the best and this one is one of the best in the area. Their customer service is great. They are always busy but always make sure you're okay and are seated as soon as a chair is available . I have gone twice and both times they did an amazing job on my acrylics. Their prices are seriously reasonable and don't break your pocket for something simple or something a little fancy. I wanted to love this place but it didn't quite meet the bar. My pedicure by Michael was amazing! He took his time and when I told him I was ticklish he was careful. It was so relaxing. Unfortunately, my dip nails were not the same quality. When filing there were parts of the black filed off, I asked a few times to have it corrected. She fixed some of the nails but not all of them and didn't even ask which ones I was talking about. She didn't clean up around my nails afterward so there's some black around my nail beds and my finger pads. Also, didn't clean up under my nails where some of the dip got. Not all of the tips of my nails are the same. A bit disappointed. read more

She is always smiling, and makes the best drinks!! The service is always outstanding! Julie, Tammy, are hands down the best! Julie does my lashes, and manicures. She is a meticulous artist. I canceled my membership to Deka Lash, and switched to her. Tammy is wonderful with her hands on tired feet and legs. She takes her time, and is an excellent tech. Tina will make you feel like family, and goes out of her way to make sure that your experience is more than you anticipated.
