My husband and I came here off a recommendation from a friend and had a nice experience to celebrate our birthdays. We both got mani/pedis and felt very relaxed. My husband had a quick men's mani/pedi which left his hands and feet moisturized and clean. My pedicure was great, I did an aqua color which I enjoyed and then I originally asked for a chrome aqua color for my manicure as well, but changed my mind to get a chrome orange after she shaped my nails. Not sure if me changing my mind made my manicurist forget that I also wanted chrome, so after doing my complete set, I had to have another lady take all the color off and start again because the chrome was supposed to be the first layer. Had I realized this (I rarely get my nails done so I don't really know the process), I would have spoken up before she got so far along. The end result was still nice and I enjoyed chatting with both manicurists. A perk of this place was a complimentary drink as well (sodas, juices and a selection of alcohol) which was nice. I went back for a Mother's Day mani/pedi...the service was exceptional...for me (my daughter came as well and had a similar experience to my first visit). I wish they did a paraffin wax deal, and I wish the service was more consistent. My daughter and her friend just got there nails done here. Had a horrible experience, I assume since they are teenage girls they thought they could take advantage of them. Tammy was my daughter's nail technician and she rolled her eyes at her and friends multiple times when they said they need the nails shorter. BF and I stopped in for weekend pedicures without an appointment but were still seated quickly. Prices are consistent for this area, though they do offer more pedi options. Service overall was very friendly, massage chairs were large and comfy, a little noisy as salons typically are but not uncomfortably so. Excellent experience with Lee yesterday! I hadn't been super lucky finding a good nail salon since moving to Alliance a few months ago, but Lee did a great job. One of my biggest complaints with getting dip is when the tech leaves build up under the nail. Lee took his time and left no product. AT ALL. I was so happy!! Very clean place. I accidentally stumbled on it. It's on the side of H.E.B. Grocery store. So it doesn't face the street. I had mani/pedi. Anna did my medi with dip nails. And Christine did my pedi. They both did an excellent job. I love that they did not rush and you can tell they enjoy doing nails. One of the co-owners approached me and asked if I was pleased with my services. My friend and I made an appointment for pedicures. There were so many colors to choose from, however after a couple of minutes I settled on a color. Candle Nail Spa is a big, clean and the color scheme is warm and inviting. The staff led me to a comfortable black massage chair and inquired what drink I wanted. I went with their Vietnamese coffee (hot) which had a good balance of coffee, milk and sugar. I got the collagen pedicure which was rejuvenating and my nail technician was personable. I opted for a design and the nail technician did a great job of replicating the designs to my big toes. The price for the collagen pedicure was worth it due to the quality of the service and the outcome of my pedicure. A couple of days later and the nail polish is holding up well. I appreciate that they offer flip flops for on the go and tell you how long to keep them on. I enjoyed my time here and look forward to returning. I had been wanting to come to this nail salon for awhile and finally got the opportunity to last weekend. The establishment is beautiful, they offer you beverages and the chairs are so comfortable. The massage was needed. I was greeted by Aiden as soon as I entered. He showed & explained the options available to me. My nail techs were Kevin and Liz, whom did a great job! They were very friendly as was most of the staff I encountered. I don't get a whole lot of fancy things done to my toes/nails. When they were done they looked amazing. I've been a faithful client at Candle nails, since the salon opened earlier this summer. Unfortunately, this evening I had such horrible experience. One of the worst experience I have ever had in going into a professional business. The guy at the front desk(Aden) is an asshole. He does not respect your time, and is very unprofessional. I would not advise anyone who is looking for professional services to be rendered to enter this establishment. However the Nail tech Yuki is very sweet, polite and professional. Had it not been for her, their business would go under. She is the best tech in the place. After she was halfway through my service, Aden asked her to stop. He asked me if I would like to come another day or he could soak my nails off. A complete disregard for one's time and incompletion of service. I happened upon this nail shop this evening and it seems that my search has ended. The customer service was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and Aiden the location manager, was so awesome and very attentive. He took the time to understand exactly how I wanted my nails. After carefully listening, he picked the perfect nail techs for me. YUKI for my nails and KEN for my feet. I 100% recommend them both..they were both very thorough and took thier time to make sure i recieved my money's worth. I am super picky about my nails, but YUKI knocked it right out the park.. even down to the perfect shape. KEN took very good care of my feet and his foot massage is beyond relaxing.
