Honestly, this is not the BEST nail salon. It's average. The inside is clean but not that sparkling clean look and feel like other nail salons. My nail wasn't really engaging but he did my nails exactly how I wanted them and they dried super fast without gel! Average place, great prices. I always get long nails and I only had to pay $28 here. Lowest ever for my long nail length. Not the best salon decent enough. Ask for Jessica or the one you (sorry, I forgot his name). read more

This has got to be the worst nail treatment I have ever gotten in 30 years. I ran to the bank after having tips and crystal put on and a nail popped off just 5 minutes after they were applied. It was my intention to go and get cash for a tip, but after that I decided not to tip or not to go back. Under the nails where they are supposed to be glued to the real nail is a gap, where food or anything else could get in. The person never even cleaned under the nail prior to doing an application. There was also a guy there who was working on my nails when I was passed off and there was no certificate for him on the wall. The whole time he was working applying the crystal, he was on the phone talking to someone and of course I did not get the proper attention to detail. He never cleaned up the excess crystal stuck under the nail. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They never trimmed my cuticles or did any maintenance on the hand prior to using a rotary tool. When I asked about trimming my cuticles, they said machine does it. Needless to say, the next morning all around every finger was raw and bleeding. I actually went to the doctors for antibiotics and a tetanus shot, which was advised. I am not prone t leaving bad reviews, but it wasn't only me, I paid for my niece also. There posted price said $8 for gel color, they charged $10, they charged $3 additional because my niece wanted her nails rounded instead of flat. REALLY, IN ALL MY YEARS, I NEVER HEARD OF CHARGING EXTRA BECAUSE YOU WANTED YOUR NAILS ROUNDED. NOT POINTED ROUNDED, LIKE YOUR NATURAL NAIL GROWS. When my nail popped off, she showed me her nails which were bubbling, wear the gel didn't set right. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS IT IS FAR WORSE THAN THE REVIEWS EVEN STATE. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR IMPROPER PROCEDURE. I called the licensing board and the board of health. There are procedures, they are supposed to follow for each service. I have been using this salon for over 10 years. Even back when I still lived in NYC. The work is always well done and my manicures last for weeks. Seriously. I come every 3-4 weeks ONLY because my nails grow out - not because of them chipping, etc. The shop is clean, bright and the employees are very kind and good at what they do. read more

I went there about 6 weeks ago, the lady cut my cuticles so bad, to the point of drawing blood, I am in the beauty business and would NEVER write a bad review, but not only that My toes now ache badly, and so does my nails, I have an appt Tom for dermatologist. I called to speak to the owner and I told them, they apologized and Said she was not there and would call back and still No call. I know that I have fungus , I'm just afraid it's nothing worst. I went to this salon for its convenient location but should have listened to the reviews. I honestly thought it couldn't be that bad but it is, which is a shame considering the people who work here are genuinely nice. So to make this clear, this has nothing to do with how I was treated but just the services rendered were below the standard of what any salon should be offering. The salon is clean and I was greeted immediately, but once I sat down I knew something was going to be not so great. The stations are not fully stocked and more than once my nail technician had to go to other stations for tools that he should have had. He didn't prep my nails at all for the gel set I asked for, I'm talking no pushing back cuticles or anything, I had to tell him to use acetone to clean my nails before he started on the artificial tips. He took no time to clean his station in between steps and had such a hard time sculpting my nails. To make matters worst by the end, the price for a simple french manicure gel set (the white part of the french was air brushed on) came to a whopping $78. I knew I would not be coming back, also the pedicures are just as sub par. Ladies and gents, do not waste your time here unless you want nails that are done with hardly any know how and overpricing. Do not go here. I went to get a gel manicure on Monday and Monday night my thumb was missed up. Went back to get it fixed Tuesday. Then on Thursday notice another nail is now messed up!! This is ridiculous. My pedicure which isn't gel looks better than my nails but my feet aren't smooth. I could have done a better job at home and saved my money. Consumers beware. Worst and most painful manicure I ever received in my life. Went here for the first time for a gel manicure because of the convenient location.... never again. The manicurist was very nice, but not skilled at all.... like at all! The end result was extremely, extremely sloppy. He polished my nails AND polished my cuticles/fingers, nails were filed very unevenly, cuticles trimmed very poorly (and hurt like hell!) Also the warm cloth used on my hands smelled of mildew. Goodness! Where do I begin? I almost feel bad giving this review because the guy who did my nails very very nice, friendly and somewhat accommodating but his technique and outcome were horrible. I went for a full set of tips (the emergency cure for a serial nail biter who has to shake a lot of hands ;-) ) and walked in without appointment. I was seated immediately because there was no wait (which is a total plus), but I should've known better. The place was empty at lunch time, whereas most nail salons in the area are jam packed between 12 and 2 p.m. Anyway, here it goes. 1) The guy put my tips on crooked. I had to tell him to fix it, otherwise he had no plans to do it. 2) He asked me if I wanted them narrow and natural and I said yes, but guess what, he cut them extremely wide and filed them completely square with an awkward dip or indentation in the center which made the nails look like a V. I asked him to file them evenly across and to narrow the corners but he kept filing them the same way. Eventually, I politely asked him for the file and filed them down myself. 3) He left glue around my nails and simply began to paint my nails without removing it and without cutting or pushing back my cuticles. Not to mention, that he did not apply any hand lotion, did not give me a hand massage as in most places, and did not apply cuticle oil before I washed my hands (all of which are standard part of a manicure everywhere else I've been to). But, considering that I had to file my own nails and because he was so nice, I decided to pick my battle wisely and skipped my request for the lotion, the massage and the cuticle oil. I just asked him to remove the glue, trim the skin and push back the cuticles before painting. While he removed the glue with acetone, he did not do anything else. He just moved on to painting the nails. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he was inexperienced and perhaps new at the job but the bottom line is that I am never going back there again. The only positives are that the place is very clean, bright, big and there is lots of parking. read more

i've been going to them for a long time now i used to go to the one in walmart till they gave me fungus and all my nails were falling off. so, i walked in to this place and i was greeted with a smile(like every time i go and they no my name thats a plus) and made me feel like i been going there for years. i go to the guy there henry he is wonderfull at doing nails i love my nails everytime and if i dont he will re-do them. For my toes and eye brow i go to selina. she is wonderfull also.(i havent gone to anyone else there but i seen there work and it looks amazing) they do everything and they make sure that u are happy with it or they will fix it they no almost everyone by name and whats going on with them bc they talk to u and i think having a convo with the person that is doing ur nails and eye brows and everything is a plus! always asking how are u? hows ur mom? and everything the prices are reasonable for the work they do! this is the fist salon i been in in a long time that gave massage and a hot rag after u get ur nails done (the best part) wonderfull place read more

Granted I didn't have an appointment but I asked how long the wait was. I was told 20 minutes. So I sat and waited. 20 min later I was seated for a pedi and then waited an additional 25 min for him to actually start. By that point the water was cold. But then he started. Ouch. Guy doing my pedi was way too busy watching the soccer match to pay attention to my toes. 2 bloody toes later I couldn't wait to leave. Staff is friendly but I think I'll pass on the convenient location for a better service elsewhere. read more

If you want your fake nails to fall off or gel to peel only days after getting serviced here.. then go here. But if you want a good service done... DONT! I'm not even going to go into details of everything that has happened here. They use expired glue in which the nails fall off and the gel is expired too which results in it peeling only days after getting them done! If I could give this salon 0 stars I definitely would. Went in on a Sunday because it was the only salon open, I went to take off my acrylic nails and the guy started PRYING my nails off with a cuticle nipper and nail tip!!!!! Ladies this is by no means the way any nail tech should remove your nails. They are supposed to soak off your nails, or doing it this way will give you a horrible infection!! He started with my pinky nail and removing his way he left an extremely painful CRACK in my natural nail that started bleeding because of the cuticle nipper he was using. Luckily I told him to stop and soak them off, I thought my nail was going to fall off, and it hurt for days! He kept insisting that my nail was naturally "thin", but they became weak and brittle because he kept drilling the acrylic off rather than soak them for a longer time, which also burned and left red marks all over my nails. And in the end after the extremely painful service he still made me pay! I absolutely do not recommend this place. As nice as they are they clearly do not care to provide good services to their clients, they do things the easy and faster way, NOT the right way. I am an Nj Cosmetologist myself and I am knowledgeable of how these services are supposed to be done, and found this unacceptable. DO NOT COME HERE! read more

Place is horrible!!!! Its 25$ for a pedicure with no massage no trim toenails no cuticle remedy nothing!!!!! This chinese girl all she did twas paint my toes totally disappointed !!! i got my nails with acrylic tips horrendous!!!!!!!!!!! Not only did they guy do a bad job the nails were smudged and 10$ for 2 nails design for 2 dam lines didnt even look right nopeeee totally not worth it herw !!! Avoid this place !!! Worst nail salon ever! Went for a manicure yesterday afternoon and not even 24 hours later 6 of my nails are already chipped. My nails are not just nicked but now I have to go to a different salon to get another manicure. When I called to get my money back I was told no but to come back in for a new manicure. I live 45 minutes from the salon and told them I am not driving all that way. Save your money! Don't got here! read more

Friendly and takes walk ins but i had to finish filing my nails myself cause they werent buffed and i scratched someone...the nail bed wasnt clean when they removed the old gel color so the new gel color is lighter in some spots...its also faded looking and chipping after a couple of days and its gel. read more
