The owner, Jeff, is the most unprofessional business owner, I've ever encountered. They have some good nail techs, but he runs the place like a sweat shop, and seems to have a control issue. I got a full set acrylic with Debbie on Thursday, November 8th. The following day a nail broke. Nails continued to break until only five were left unbroken. I called to schedule repairs and the female receptionist told me because it wasn't even a week that passed with my nails done before breaking, it would be free of charge. Upon arrival for the appointment a couple days later the male receptionist told me there's nothing I could do despite the nail technician right next to him saying Debbie made the nails too thin which is why they were breaking so easily. He blamed it on me, saying I could be looking for free repairs or being incredibly rough. Now I'm stuck with horrible nails and a company that's unwilling to be accommodating. There's several other nail salons on this strip. I would advise everyone to choose a different location before settling on Nail Depot. read more

I made an appointment for 3 PM this past Saturday and was there early, was not seen until 3:15 PM. I wish I could remember the manicurist's name, but I can't. She sucked. She did not seem to be happy or comfortable, so I tried to make conversation by asking what time they open to see if she was in there since the early morning or something. She then asked me if it was my 1st time there. She not only cut open my cuticle until I bled, but FOUR MORE of my fingers now have irritated cuts on them. Hope they don't get infected. She was more concerned about talking with her "BFF's". Then when I got the pedicure her and another manicurist gossiped about one of her clients. She then cut a few of my my nails, THEN asked me if I wanted her to. When I was done, the girl was running around looking for one of her friends, I had to chase her down to give her tip (I shouldn't have tipped anything). Will never go here again & suggest you don't either, unless you already have a specific person recommended for you and who does a good job. $38 for a manicure/pedicure (regular, not french) isn't that great of a price either. The parking sucks as well, is hard to find if you've never been there before. read more

New to Boca so I basically googled for the closest nail salon. I was given an appt time of 5:00. The receptionist was nice and told me I wouldn't be seeing the person she told me I would see over the phone. After 35 minutes of waiting the hostess said she was doing my nails. She happened to be filling in for the receptionist but was a nail tech. I had to request what was usual and customary because she wasn't providing good service. After an hour and a half of pedicure which should never take that long, I had a manicure. The manicure was okay but I was so perturbed at the 3 hr visit I was not caring if it was right or not. The tech did turn the horrible experience around but I will not go back. It isn't the cleanest place at all. The polish selection is limited and looks very dried out and old. 1 star for the tech who tried to make good. read more

Let me start off by saying I never complain I'm in the service industry and know to just let it go and just not go back but I am appalled at the way I was treated today. I am soooooooo disappointed in this place iv been going here for a few months now and loved the techs I have been getting until today... Came in 15 min before my appointment at 3pm and has to use a different technician because my favorite ladies we're not available. Finally my pedicure is done and the lady has no idea what is going on I have to tell her I'm getting my gel nail Polish changed as well. She soaks me and forgets about me without telling anyone I'm there for 30 min !! I finally say something to the "tech talking to her client about another client" and with an attitude tells me not a lot of people are working someone knows I'm there and will be over soon. Finally another tech sees me and sees I'm upset and told me iv been soaking for way to long and grabs the manager. She comes over DOESNT APOLOGIZE gives ME an attitude like I'm annoying her by wanting help and send me over to another tech and blames her staff for not knowing about me. ( the blame game went on the whole time I was there right in front of everyone ). I get with annnnoootthheerr tech she started my gel manicure paints them puts them in the UV light and they start to peel ?!?!? And tells me that's normal ?! I said no way change it and fix it now mind you it's 4:50 two hours later ! She has to now soak them again ! She proceeds to now change the entire color and files down my nails even more so now they are all uneven and I have cuts all over my cuticles. At 6:00 pm 3 hours after my appointment ! My nails are finally uneven, cut up and not what I wanted at all. Wait this is the best part ... I go to the front desk and say to (oh this lovey happy human being) should I not make an appointment next time iv been here for 3 hours and have had the worst experience. She goes no you should always make and appointment were very busy and says I'm sorry about that I wish I has some wine to give you .... Really bitch. Not even I'm so sorry about all the fucking inconveniences that happened over the 3 hour span you were here while you had an appointment ! She goes ok so you had so and so done it will be 53 dollars I handed her the money and walked out. Never in my life will I step foot in this shit show I felt like I was in an episode of mean girls ! That is not a way to run a salon. At all times everyone in that place seemed miserable and was talking about someone else constantly. If anything this place needs to be filmed and put on jerry springer overall it's such a cute spot and in such a great area iv met the owner and she seems so sweet and really has a good thing going she just needs to get rid of that embarrassment of a manager and make the establishment more professional other than that if you do decide to go here ask for Desiree or Catie they are awesome and if my experience wasn't so bad I would go back read more

After moving down to Boca I quickly searched for a good nail salon. This place came up close to home as well as overall good reviews. I've never gotten a pedicure here, only gel manicures. Most of the poor reviews about this place were towards pedicures, which I cannot speak for. However the manicures here are great! I've gone a few times since I've been down here and I always leave satisfied! The workers have always shaped my nails exactly how I want them and are perfectionists while painting, they make sure to do the best job possible. My only complaint about this place is that it is a bit pricey. However, you get what you pay for! Also, this is a cash only place. There is an ATM located in the back but there is a withdrawal fee, so you end up spending more money than you planned sometimes. read more

My friend told me about the new Shellac Gel Nails and how her manicure lasted more than 12 days. She told me to go to the Nail Depot Salon in Boca Raton, that I would love my Shellac nails as much as her. I am so impressed! My manicures usually last 2 days and they start chipping (hate that) and with this Shellac polish system they lasted 12 days!!! UNBEILABLE!! I just moved to Boca and needed a gel fill. I made an appointment with this nail salon for this morning. I went in and everything was fine. The lady doing my nails was nice, however there was a comment about how I chose to have my nails shaped was "odd" but no big deal. My nails are alright, a little goopy on the ends and crooked but it's not horrid. Also, not the color I asked for. I wanted plain white but got a pearly color that I can see through even after 3 coats. I go to pay and the man at the desk tells me it's $37 dollars. I asked why $37, because on the website it said $22. I knew it was going to be a little more due to the gel polish, but not $15 dollars more. To respond to my question, he just pointed at the sign saying their prices. The gel fill wasn't listed online, so I don't know how I was supposed to know. Anyways, I give him my card and he hands me the receipt back. I didn't see an area to leave a tip so I said "oh there's no place to tip?" He, quite rudely, goes "you're not from here huh?" Apparently they don't have areas to tip on the receipt. I didn't know. I apologized because I didn't bring cash and he just points to the ATM and says " there's an ATM there." Not the best place. I'd recommend Pour and Polish, which isn't far from this place. Just got a pedicure there and they're amazing and aren't rude! :) read more

This review isn't merely to bash the salon and the girl who did my nails was very nice but I have been getting "nex gen" for almost 2 years elsewhere and decided to give this place a try. I'm just disappointed that my nails have chipped and the top clear coat has peeled off or is starting to. This is only just a little over a week. Prior to coming in I had my nex gen done elsewhere and it was on for almost a month and I never have experienced peeling, cracking, or chipping EVER. My recommendation is to maybe look at the products your using maybe they're expired? I don't know but I'm very shocked that this nex gen is coming off so easily as you normally have to soak it in nail polish remover AND use the machine to wear it off. As you can see in the photo the first 3 came off and the last 2 look great but the top clear coat is starting to lift off too. I haven't picked them off they have just been getting caught on my clothes or other things I'm doing because the paint and nail are so thin. Best of luck hope you will find this review helpful. Victoria is amazing, patient and talented. I'm a nail biter and it's terrible. I have to have acrylics so that I don't touch my nails. Victoria makes my nails looks so good some people don't even know I have fake nails. (Best compliment ever) Also, as a hair stylist my nails are constantly being submerged in water and after 2 weeks my nail color still looks perfect and shiny I love that I can just sit down and relax and always know I'll leave happy !!!
