Worst place I have ever been to. I was so annoyed when I went there I took pictures with my phone and wrote a nasty email and attached the pictures. The manager was a disgusting pig. She sat a few pedicure chairs from me and ate a salad like it was her last meal. While I got my pedicure another nail tech sat in the chair next to me snacked on popcorn and gossiped with my lady the WHOLE time. I work in a very highend Spa and just wanted to feel like a client for once. Huge mistake coming here. I use to go to the one in Delray amd loved it. Boca was terrible! read more

Absolutely disgusting. For the second time, I have had poor service. This time the pedicure was done so poorly I had to ask her to fix multiple things, like globs of polish. The women doing pedicures were talking about clients in Spanish, little did they know I could understand bits and pieces of their conversation. She did not separate my toes with a separator and on my way to dry them they smudged, I asked her to fix it and she was so overly annoyed. She barely fixed it, told me to go to the wall and get it if I wanted to fix it. After an hour and a half, I left with messed up polish. Never again. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra money and go to a salon with some tact. read more

Terrible service!!! Unsanitary and unprofessional service and management. When I approached my pedi chair, it was covered with someone else's dead skin and nail clips. Instruments were hardly sanitized and I received little to no massage. When I informed the manager of this, she was indifferent. I will NEVER return!! read more

Their prices are very reasonable, and the staff has become like family to me. I've been going here on and off for a few years. The last time I went was just after Christmas. I had a manicure and pedicure with whoever was available. I got very lucky and was assigned to Edith! Absolutely the BEST manicure and pedicure I have ever had, including those done at a high-end spa. I have natural nails and don't use shellacs or gels; just the old-fashioned Essie or OPI polish. Other people seem to have problems with the gels, fills and shellacs. I can't say much about that since I never use those products. read more

I had a manicure/pedicure today at Nail Depot in Boca. This was my first time visiting this shop since I'm usually a regular at Venetian Nails. The woman at the desk was friendly and welcoming ( I was told she was the owner) My nail tech was Angela. She was great, friendly but still let me enjoy my pedicure. I had a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. Both turned out great.The stations looked clean and organized. There was a tray of bagels to snack on, but I tend to stay away from food that can be easily fingered by the elderly! It was very busy for 10 am, but is was mostly the over 60 crowd, and snowbirds. The only negative was that there is alot of construction in the area, so navigating through the streets and the elderly drivers was annoying. Bottom line.. If your looking for an nice and affordable mani/pedi this is a great spot. I will definetly be a returning customer. read more

They were very friendly. Angela, Angie or a name along those lines was my technician and she did an excellent job with my gel mani. Seemed fairly clean and sterile too! The owner is RUDE. Doesn't acknowledge clients half the time. But when she does, she gives you a RBF or even makes inappropriate remarks about your nails or you. I've even seen her making moves on some male clients. It's also obvious her employees dislike her as well, as that's what they share amongst themselves. Besides Debbi and Stephanie, everyone else is mediocre. Checking/on their phones while doing your nails. Unhappy staff due to poor management. Took my money elsewhere. read more

Completely unimpressed. For being in Mizner this salon was a bit trashy. The nail tech wasn't friendly at all. The foot massage was basically 1 minute long. She did a decent job with the cut and polish (hence the 2 stars). I went with my Mom who sat next to me. I started after her and finished before her. So I asked if I could sit in the chair for a few minutes while she finished painting my mothers toes. She said no...Lol...Even though there were other empty chairs. So after I got up, she cleaned the area and SHE sat down in the chair!! Lol. I'll stick with The Studio in West Boca...cleaner, nicer facility, professional techs, longer massages and $3 cheaper! Oh and as we were leaving 2 nail techs got in a fight over a client. Completely awkward and unprofessional. I went in the first time wanting a manicure with the dip powder and I called and asked if did the dip powder and was told yes. When I sat down the lady already started so I couldn't leave so I got a gel instead. It was ok but she talked a lot of trash about the other techs and other customers. I went back a few days ago for a pedicure and was standing there for 5 minutes without being greated or asked what service I wanted. The reviews of Nail Depot in Boca were good, so I drove 20 minutes for the worst dip manicure I have ever gotten! When I first arrived I asked for help matching colors of products. I was getting a manicure and a pedicure. The receptionist was dismissive and they were out of many colors of dip. I had a hard time matching dip with polish. The employees didn't help at all until Laura, the manicurist finally came to help. She did try to give advise on colors but the dip color was way too bright for me. It didn't match my toes either. Laura said don't worry, I can fix it by using a gel coat. I asked if this would work well. She assured me it would and put gel over the dip. 5 hours later I showered and my nails started to peel. I called the owner this morning (manicure was yesterday). He offered a "redo" but I was on my way out of town this morning. Even if I was in town I wouldn't want those harsh chemicals 2 days in a row. I would never go to Nail Depot again. read more

I'm very very pleased with Boca Raton Nail Depot. I'm always greeted with a smile and professional manner. It is very clean and all nail tools are sanitized properly. Patricia does my nails perfect and is very personable. I've never had a problem with my acrylic nails since she has been doing them. It's busy there, but that is a sign of how good they are. Lily and Lita do my pedicures. They give a great massage! So relaxing! All tools and pedicure bowls are sanitized after each customer. I've been to many nail salons in the area and was never pleased. "Dissatified" and "unprofessiona" does not express strongly enough my feelings after walking out of this salon because of the way I was treated. Being from out of town, I was looking for a nail salon that provided the "Shellac" Gel manicure. I found their web site, and read about how they use the "Shellac" product, aong with "SHELLAC REMOVAL WRAPS" on their website, it says these wraps ""limit finger and skin exposure to the acetone" it says there is "no filing needed" First, she filed the tops of my nails, along with my cuticles (very bad) that is when I started to question this salons procedures Then, after a previous bad experience, I was appaled when the technician brought out 2 bowls of acetone for me to soak my fingers in (very drying to both skin and cuticles) ad I requested the "wraps. She took huge wads of cotton, wrapped them all the way AROUND my finger and put a half a sheet of foil loosely on my nails. It was more than I could stand. I went to the owner, who tried to say that this was one of her best technicians, and she went over to another technician and was very unprofessionally speaking about my dissatisfaction. I felt there was nothing else for me to do than to leave. I went to Salon Oasis and had an excellent experience with no issues. read more

I have never wrote a bad review before, as I know someone can be having a bad day etc, but the service here was horrible. The blonde lady at the front desk was unwelcoming upon arrival. Once seated in the pedicure area, I waited about 15 mins for the lady to even start. I was there with my sister, both of our nail girls chatted and texted on their phones. I didn't get a foot or leg massage with my pedi, plus she took over an hour to do my toes. Next she did my fingers, again answering her phone and took an 1 and half to do my gel polish and manicure. Didn't get any lotion on my hands and I didn't feel pampered considering the time frame and unfriendly service. When my sister was checking out, she was informed she couldn't leave a tip on her debit card. She asked me if I had cash, which I did not. I said oh, I wish they told me at the time of making the appointment so I could have been prepared. The blonde lady responded very rudely, well DID YOU ASK? I was so beyond appalled, I didn't ever bother to respond.When I went to pay, they grabbed my card while chewing an apple and didn't bother to ask how my services went or to have a nice day. All I wanted to do was get out of there. So to sum it up, my nails were fine, but it took hours, poor service and a rude lady at the service desk, sounds so relaxing! Would never go back! read more

Took my daughter here one evening for pedis as walk ins. Got there @730 knowing they closed@9. The receptionist insinuated that they had already taken in their last appt for the day...there were at least 6 nail techs there. I said I understood if we needed to come back the next day but after some hmmming and haaahing she said "no, its fine, we can take you" So Im already feeling like we're putting them out which doesn't do much for the experience. Then when I sat down we couldn't get my massage chair to work and instead of moving to a different chair (there were like 8 empty) the tech just kind of ignored it & proceeded to do my pedicure. She was perfectly nice and polite. But I felt like the massage chair problem should have send fixed without me having to put up a fuss which I didn't have the energy to do. So when I went to pay I kindly told the receptionist about the chair issue and she just kindly explained it away. I felt that there should have been some sort of an offer to make up for it since, to me, that is half of the experience. If you have massage chairs as part of your service they should work. That is part of what I am paying for. So I feel ripped off. It was an easy no brainer to fix the problem by saying your pedicure is on us or heres a coupon for next time. Nothing. I will go somewhere else next time. There are way too many places that can give me full service. read more

I was in town from LA visiting family and came here for a quick pedicure. I was told to sit in one of the pedicure chairs which I did for 10 minutes before my technician acknowledged me. She then told me she was going to quickly remove someones gels and that it would be ten minutes....I sat with my feet in a lukewarm pedicure tub for close to 25 minutes before she even started!! She then proceeded to text and answer phone calls while doing my pedicure!!! I've never recieved such terrible service and in a place like Boca you can't get away with that! The place wasn't very clean and they don't have anything to protect your feet in the bowls that everyone uses. Won't be back...save your money and go to Skin Apeel! read more
