I've been going to Nail Fashions for over 6 months and have loved my nails every single time. Ken is the best- he literally does exactly what you ask. I have very brittle nails and he stops every so often to make sure I'm doing okay and nothing hurts which the fact that he remembers says a lot about his dedication to customer service. I'd highly recommend making an appointment as they can get busy. As a bonus, it's cheaper than some salons in the area as well! read more

$15 for a basic manicure? Great! They're super relaxed here and I loved that I could call to make an appointment day-of. Their Yelp page says they also accept walk-ins, which I witnessed when I was there. The people who did walk in (about mid-day) only had to wait a few minutes before being helped. The woman who did my nails was super nice and we talked for a bit. I'd recommend doing gel if you come for a manicure or pedicure, as we all know that regular nail polish never lasts more than a week (and I wasn't patient enough and accidentally touched one of my nails and ruined it in the car -- completely my fault). I'll be back and loved that you can do quick color changes for only a few dollars and that they're so flexible with customers. read more

Excellent place! My friend and I made an appointment to get manis and pedis. We have never been here before. I had Trish and the service was excellent. Inside is nice and pleasing. It's pretty. Excellent job on our services! We are both very pleased. My friend had a very intricate nail design which she loved. (Picture below) Definitely will return. read more

Ok, usually I don't give feedback unless it is worth the time! This is a Gem, The service is pleasant and while they are very gentle and meticulous with your nails, you get to enjoy a nice relaxing clean ambience, it makes you feel like you can decompress and enjoy the experience of getting your nails hands and feet care. In here you get choices and everything is done properly, just enjoy getting pampered no matter who you are!! read more

First time trying this nail shop and I am really happy with my experience. I came just at the right time so I didn't wait long, but I definitely recommend making an appointment in advance if you can! Because they got really busy. I had Hannah work on my pedicure and she was extremely attentive and paid attention to my nails. I didn't need to tell her about my in grown toe nails. She got them almost immediately. I am definitely coming back! read more

I was lucky enough to go in when there was no one there so I got a lot of attention. I got a basic pedicure and a gel white tip full set. It came out to $80 with tip. The pedicure chairs were clean and the nail Stations were clean as well. It looked like there was a lot of color selection but it didn't pertain to me since I was only getting white tips. My nails grow fast but they still look fabulous. I will be going back. read more

This is always my go-to nail salon for several reasons. #1: They have great prices - several other nearby hotspots charge more for their services. Prices at Nail fashions are always reasonable. #2: easy to get an appointment. I can always count on making an appointment the day of or just walking in and being able to get service in a timely manner. #3: Quality. They do the best job on my gel manicures and other services (pedicures, full sets...). I have tried other fancier places to see what all the hoopla was about but they all disappointed with their gel manicures that didn't last very long and chipped days after. At nail fashions I can always count on my gel manicures to last the full 2 weeks with minimal chipping. They pay attention to detail and aren't sloppy. It's a small shop, but they always do a great job and are nice, so I will continue coming back! read more

I recently went to get my nails dip. I was unhappy by the price, $45 for a below average dip. My nail lengths do not match in size, some are short and some are long. They are not shaped the name way either. My nails are very thin because the only did two layers of dip. 30 hours after getting them done my thumb dip popped off. I went in to have it fixed and now my thumb doesn't match the rest because they did not do the same amount of layers of dip. I'm only giving a two stars because of the girl that did my nails the first day was nice. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for years now when it was under a different name and management. When the change over came I was extremely leary of remaining as a customer. One of the new staff asked me to stay and give them a chance to prove they could take care of me and I have to say they have given me exceptional service every since then. I no longer get my nails done but they take care of my pedi's for me. They take there time, they massage my legs and feet, even use warm towels to dry you off b4 applying your nail polish. I see them continuing to improve on their customer service efforts and I appreciate that immensely. They are very friendly, fast and you can't beat 28.00 for a first class pedicure. I can't wait to return to keep my summer time regimen going. read more

Walked in after shopping and I got right in after looking at gel polish for my piggies. Had this wonderful man who I believe is the owners husband and he was beyond wonderful. He took extra care of me and was very precise and patient which is hard to find in a nail salon. I used to go to a place down the road but unfortunately have not had the best luck getting right in. It's a little out of the way for this downtown girl but certainly the customer service and professionalism will bring me back! Great job! read more

I went in to get my pedicure and manicure with acrylic nails. I went in right when they just open so I got like absolute attention from them. The lady who does my nose is very helpful with picking out colors and recommended that I do the matte for the color. I do not have anything bad to say about the place and I only get four stars because The lady who did my nails kept making a mistake and we had to redo two of them a couple times. read more

Do not waste your time or money. Owners are terrible and don't do a good job at all. Me and my husband went for an anniversary date for pedicures. The male did not want to do my feet and did the worst job I have ever had. Wanted my nails done too but he did not want the business with his bad attitude. Again don't waste your time or money. They are not friendly at all. I wish the best for the young lady that did my husbands feet, she at least tried and was nice. They deserve no stars. read more

Like many others, I came upon Nail Fashions because of a deal through Living Social. I was pleased with my shellac manicure, but felt greatly disappointed in the level of customer service. The manicurist complained and complained about how busy they have been because of the Living Social deal and how she was frustrated about her phone ringing off the hook (has anyone ever been to a small nail salon that complained about being busy? I haven't!). The past few times I have called them to request service, they either tell me they are too busy or simply hang up the phone. If they truly require advance appointments, then they shouldn't advertise that they accept walk-ins. Needless to say, Nail Fashions won't be getting anymore of my business. I've started visiting a family-owned salon located about 3 miles from Nail Fashions and they are polite, thorough, and very fairly priced. They also don't complain about being busy :) read more

I was in Indy for a short period of time so this is not my usual nail spot. Got a gel pedicure and the water was freezing cold. Got a full set and the gentleman cut every one of my fingers with the drill. Nails are all different shapes. Took 2 hours to get both done and I had to rush the painting process because I was running late. Overall, over priced and not impressed. read more

Hannah as well as her sister Adriana give the best mani/pedi! I only go to them especially for my gel mani's b/c not only are they so meticulous but their gel mani's last for weeks!! Unlike most places, they do 2 base coats and 2 top coats so when it is time to get your nails redone, it's super easy to peel off the old. Great family ran place! read more

This place has turned very bad - awful massage for a deluxe pedicure. In addition staff was disrespectful. I also tried to use my gift card that had expired due to not being able to go due to covid - they refused to accept it. I used to recommend this place but not any longer. No member of staff has been there more than three weeks according to my tech who gave pedicure. read more

I honestly don't know how to feel about my first visit to Nail Fashions. I work in a complex nearby, and their prices were right, so I decided to get a gel manicure on my lunch break. I took a late lunch to improve my chances that I'd get in quickly. I arrived around 1:20 this afternoon, and they got me back and started within two minutes, so that was great. From there, though, the experience was a bit irritating. Normally when I get a gel manicure, they do the shaping, cuticle trim, buffing, followed by a base coat, two coats of color, and top coat, with the UV light in between. For whatever reason, even though I chose a dark color that probably didn't need more than one coat, my tech did 4-5 coats on each. With UV in between. This took a loooong time, and in between this, she kept grabbing my hand and forcing it clumsily into the UV light box, bumping my nails, messing them up, and having to redo them. My result looks very good, but it took about an hour and ten minutes (!) and it was filled with confusion and irritation. On the other hand, it was only $25, which is more than I paid in California, but the cheapest gel manicure I've found in Indianapolis so far.... I'll probably give them another shot. Side note, I guess I have sensitive cuticles, and they bleed easily during the cuticle trim. I was told by another tech elsewhere that I should notify them of this. I did, and I still got a pretty rough trim; only one bled, and it's only a little bit, but still not psyched about it. read more

Walked in 20 minutes before they closed. Quick toenail polish exchange. Basecoat two coats of color and topcoat and I was done in about 12 minutes. She did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place. I stopped in here because it was close to the hospital and I was just getting new color on my toes. Probably be back . read more

Easily the best spot for a manicure in the Indy area. I've been lucky with just walking in. Longest I've had to wait was 15 minutes. I always get a gel mani/pedi which always lasts 2+ weeks. They take their time and pay attention to detail. read more

I met David about 5 years ago when he worked at a different salon. I would always request him because I enjoyed his service and demeanor. Unfortunately he moved from that particular place & I had no idea where. Luckily for me I had his phone number and was able to find him here. My mom and I were so excited and when he saw us he gave us a hug with the biggest smile. Our service has ALWAYS been pleasant and professional. His conversation is witty while making you feel welcomed. I've read some of the other reviews and it's a shame their experience wasn't what they wanted bcz I feel David & his staff are great. I went to Nail Fashions on Wednesday with a girlfriend to use our Living Social coupons we had purchased. I've never had the gel or shellac manicure before and I will say I'm still skeptical even though everyone tells me if won't chip and it's will last for weeks. We arrived right on time but someone before us didn't so we had a 35minute wait but it ended up being worth it. I got the OPI Axxium manicure and so far I love it! The nail technician was nice and talkative and did an amazing job. I will definitely go back and get another manicure! read more

I used a Living Social coupon to get a gel manicure here which I'd never had before. The decor is very simple and honestly, fairly cheap looking. There was no music playing, just a television that was on for people to watch. This was almost necessary because of the three nail techs working, only one spoke any English so no one talked to each other. This posed a challenge for me because I had some questions about my manicure. I was able to interrupt the one lady who did speak broken English as she was trying to do someone else's nails and asked her. Overall the manicure looked good. If I was interested in just the basics meaning no frills, no conversation, but a decent manicure, I would come back. For any pampering and good customer service, look elsewhere. read more

Worst experience ever!!! First, they could not understand what I was saying. They were ripping me off! They charged me an extra $20 for no reason. I asked and they said it's for the "extra massage". Seriously?! Secondly, my finger toe's cuticle could not stop bleeding because they cut it real bad. Also, the razor exfoliation of my heels turned into many bloody cuts in both feet! I left with a painful walk, and an infection!!! Never come to this salon!!! read more

Just because you use a bag in the water basin, doesn't mean you shouldn't be cleaning in between clients. And this was not like 1 day of filth, this is a build-up. The consequences of infections at a nail salon are severe. This is unacceptable. I normally keep all my reviews positive and don't want to affect a small business of one bad experience but people lose limbs and can even die from infections caused at nail salons.

I walked into Nail Fashions 2 years ago and still come once a month. They do a beautiful job I get compliments almost daily on my nails. They look as good a month later as they did when I left. I get a Pedi and dip every month my nails are in the best shape they have ever been. I cannot say enough good things about this salon. They greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome, and they do a fantastic job every time. I showed them a picture of the nails i wanted and what i got was not the same. make sure you go into the salon with a very simple design idea or no design at all. they also got polish on my hand. overall they were pretty nice. read more

I was getting thick, blobby, wavy nails, chrome finish dimpling and denting, a cut foot, and ripped cuticles. Here is where Christine absolutely knocked it out of the park. Communicating with me the entire time, at every step, making sure everything was exactly what I wanted and asked for. Even with adding new tips she was able to keep them slimmer profile and that takes EXTRA care. She was so kind and caring that I am absolutely thrilled. Now they're going to be stuck with me.. I wanted to call first to make sure someone would be available and avoid last weeks' situation. No answer. Called 3x periodically. Keep in mind, I am not doing any hard labor etc. the tap gel x is supposed to last several weeks so it's frustrating that I've had to go back 4x in a single month with the amount of $ spent. Thinking it was a fluke, I wanted to give them another shot but I'm taking my business elsewhere.
