I've honestly never had a problem here. I go here for pedicures and they're great! They don't speak their native language while working because I find that super rude at other places. They're very clean and have many color choices. You get a shoulder/neck massage with your pedicure. I highly recommend this business for pedicures. I'm not sure how their manicures are because I've never gotten a manicure here before. read more

When visiting Manchester, I needed a gel fill. Looking at reviews, I chose Nail House and Spa. When I called the receptionist helped me find a time to have my nails filled. Both technicians were busy so I was grateful they helped me. The nail technician who did my fill did a wonderful job. Gel was smooth with no lumps or bumps, and it was a good thickness. They had a lot of colors to choose from. I am at the end of two weeks and the fill still looks amazing. Will definitely stop in again when I need a fill in Connecticut. read more

The place is sparkling clean, new and the techs are very experienced. My gel mani has lasted three weeks! I went on a quiet Sunday so I got lucky with an extra back rub from the woman who didn't have a client at the time, I love that they do that. I would suggest having disposable tools per client or taking them straight out of the sanitizing thing so we can see it, but I didn't feel like it wasn't clean, just a thought :) read more

The salon was bright and clean end safety protocols were being followed to a T. They had a great dip powder color selection and were able to give me the nail shape I really wanted. This salon is clean and for the most part they were really nice. For the price I was expecting so much more. I made an appointment for me and 3 other people and asked them what would be the best time for them. She said 5:30. I explained that there would be 2- mani pedis, 1-mani, and 1-pedi and that there would be a total of 4 of us. When we got there they seemed overwhelmed. They couldn't do ombré dip or two other shades because they don't do acrylic which was fine. But then she messed up my nails bad with bumps and one of my nails isn't even sitting on top of my actual nails. My sister had to ask for her mani after her pedi like she had 5 heads. Combined we spent over $260. the massage was rough and definitely not expected they just kinda jump on you. It was a very interesting experience. read more

I saw this place on yelp and called on a Saturday morning. I able to make an appointment for just a couple hours later (though I think that had earlier openings, just didn't work in my day!) At 12pm there were only two other people getting pedicures there and the rest of the shop was empty. Michelle gave a lovely pedicure. Tub basins has the disposable plastic liner and the whole shop looked very clean. It didn't smell very strongly of nail polish which was a huge bonus. TV right in front of the chairs was playing food network w/ captions and there was some music playing. Chairs are quite wide too; I think a bit wider than the usual pedicure chair. I was really impressed how organized the rack of polishes were. They were organized by brand and then by color and then lightest to darkest in each color. Beautiful! The actual pedicure could have had a little more scrubbing but there was lots of massage with hot stones, fresh aloe, and lots and lots and lots of moisturizer. It felt great! She even rubbed some fresh aloe plant on a scab on my knee to promote healing. I'd return! read more

Nail House & Spa wowed me today. I just recently moved to this side of the river and was in search of a new place to get my nails done. Upon reading their other reviews, I decided to stop in. At first, I wasn't sure as the outside of the building is a little deceiving (just older, not the most aesthetic) but as they say, "don't judge a book by its cover". They took me immediately and I received a fantastic gel manicure. Not to mention they gave me a relaxing massage during my manicure. Price was reasonable and the quality of the manicure was fabulous. I've been to this location 4 times and have brought my 13 year old daughter once. I love the treatment and peaceful energy. I get a shoulder and upper back massage every time with my fills. The technicians always ask questions to make sure I'm please with the service. The place is very clean. All the products used smell delicious. The music is great and there a huge TV for those that enjoy watching a show. I've never had to wait or make an appointment. I just walk in. I'm sure that all depends on the time/day. Everything in the spa is brand new and very modern looking. They have a free membership card that gives your discounts after a number of visits/money spent. PS. They will take card but prefer cash. My daughter and I came to Spa House for mother/daughter mani/pedis. I have been here many times and I will say that I was so impressed with the cleanliness. Right after our pedis our chairs and massage chair controls along with the plexi glass were all sanitized. The same happened after our manicures. They also sanitized the door handles. This place re-opened under new management just two months ago. I was in the area for work looking for a simple regular manicure for an upcoming wedding that I was attending and found Nail House & Spa. The two owners were very friendly right from the beginning and although I only asked for a regular manicure, I felt like I was getting the deluxe treatment! They really know what great customer service entails and you can tell that the two take very good care of their equipment, making sure that even the nail polishes are maintained well. I highly recommend Michelle she gave me the best pedi I've ever had soo relaxing! I upgraded my pedi to the peppermint spa pedi & They used real Aloe on me, hot stones, an amazing long foot massage, while my toes were drying she gave me a back massage with a hot pillow, & the customer service is amazing! I went on a quiet day to get a full set and was able to be seen right away. Initially I was interested in acrylic and Jay (everyone wore a name tag), the lady at the front, was dismissive and said we don't do acrylic. She didn't offer other options, which I found to be rude. I took 1 star off for this. I experience this dismissiveness often when going to new salons. I'm always well put together, respectful, friendly, non confrontational & I always tip, so I never understand the coldness. I find that employees are often extra friendly to their regulars (which is fine) or just certain people... But you never know if a new customer will become a regular... I stayed because, I read positive reviews on here and was somewhat desperate to get a proper full set after failed attempts at other locations. I then opted for gel, and we proceeded with that. The prices are not clearly visible for nail services, but there are large signs about the pedicure options. I found out the full gel set was 80$, which is a lot more than I'm used to paying but I decided to bite the bullet. The young lady who did my nails, Sera, was very gentle, friendly and accommodating. There were no drills used on my nails at all. She also didn't use actual tips. She used a sticker process and used gel to create the shape of my nails. Overall, I am pleased with my nails. During the process she checked in with me to see if the shape and length were to my liking. There was a scrub and hot stone hand massage once my nails were done. I'm very picky about my nails, but these were close to perfect. I won't return, because of the initial interaction. I still left a tip, because I was pleased with the service from my nail tech. read more
