This is what Nail Lounge says on their website: "Your appointment is very important to us and is reserved especially for you. To ensure that all clients stay on schedule, please arrive on time or a few minutes early for your appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule for a more convenient time. Please call if you will be late as a courtesy to our manicurist and other clients." Courtesy is apparently only important when they're on the receiving end. I scheduled an appointment for my wife on Mother's Day over a week before. She was not even seated in a chair until nearly an hour AFTER the appointment time. Absolutely amazing service. The premise is absolutely stunning, professional and the most largest nail spa I've ever been to. I was serviced by Helen and choose the detox pedicure. I'm honestly shocked this salon has so many high ratings. I went in for my engagement party manicure and had a horrible experience: 1. The nail technician did not paint the polish on evenly so some nails are darker/lighter 2. Nails chipped the 2nd day 3. She was watching the TV 90% of the time stopping to take pictures of the advertisements 4. Did not ask what shape to do the nails just started filing them 5. Did not push back my cuticles Overall it was just a bad experience and really sucked because I specifically picked this place because of its good reviews. Really hesitant about this nail salon. Me and my sister in law came in to get pedicures today for my birthday. The moment we walked in they rushed us to pick a color, didn't bother asking if we wanted gel (you don't know if I was willing to spend the extra money) Than we get seated at the chairs and I get someone by I believe his name was Anthony. He was the most driest, inconsiderate person I've ever had at a nail salon. Did not hold a conversation or anything. The only 3 questions I got asked were "what price pedi I want, is the water to hot and how are you paying?" The prices here are ridiculous! $28 for basic pedi. Maybe if I got someone better who actually put in effort into the massage which was 2 minutes a foot! and the polish painting I would consider the price. I have been going to Nail Lounge for years and never really had an issue that could not be fixed until last Thursday. I took my mother to get a mani and pedi. I dropped her off so I could run a couple of errands. I came back right before closing to pay for my mom. I had my 3-year old with me and as I was paying he was walking to find my mom. He was not disturbing anyone and actually told someone excuse me because he was trying to get by a group of people. Well, one of the workers decided she was going to pick my child up and give him a kick on the butt. She then proceeded to say out loud in front of the store, "yes I just kicked him in the ass, no it is not my child, and I don't care." It took everything in me to not lose it. I grabbed my child and left because I was afraid of what I would have done or said if I stayed any longer. I went back to tell the manager of what happened. He apologized, but I feel like nothing will be done. So, just a warning to anyone who may have a child with them when you are there: don't let your child get too far from you, or one of the employees may grab/touch them. I have been coming here for over 2 years and usually have a great experience. When my nails have broken before, it has never been an issue to fix it. I got my nails done yesterday (nexgen with tip extension) and today, one of my nails just popped off. Naturally, I went straight back because my nails were not even 24hours old and I paid $40. They immediately seemed annoyed that I asked them to fix it. Then the lady who was fixing it was very annoyed that I didn't remember which number the nexgen powder was. Then she found one she "thought it was" and continued to tell me it will dry the same color when it is clearly two different colors. Best pedicure I've ever had in my life. I had a coconut and lime pedicure and a dip manicure. The 20 minute foot massage and the hot stones were heavenly! I came here a week ago to get my nails done before graduation with my mother and we spent $200 not including tip. We did not know that it was going to be this much beforehand and we were baffled when we were told the total. It is not worth the price. They scrubbed sandy stuff on my legs that left me and my mom with many scrapes and cuts. They actually cut my mom to where she bled a lot and continued to pour acetone on the wound. I got gel on my nails, and within 4 days the gel chipped!!! I was very upset for we just spent so much money. For $200 i expect to have a massage that doesn't leave me with cuts, and Gel that last more than 4 days. I used to be a huge fan of Nail Lounge for three years, but then there prices started to increase a little too much. When I first started going to Nail lounge nexgen was $35.00, and a basic pedicure was $23.00. THEN they moved to a bigger location next to Tom Thumb, and the prices got higher little by little going from nexgen being $35.00 to $40.00 non 10% days which is Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Okay I decided I was going to stick around because I like the place, and I like how the owner treated her clients, and I liked my nail tech. Then the prices went up again from nexgen being $40.00 on non 10% days up to $45.00! Then a basic pedicure is now $28.00. I mean come on I like getting my nails done, and a pedicure every month or so, but I can't be paying these prices not when I'm being charged for every little thing extra! Now if you do nexgen be ware you will be charged an extra $5.00 if you have more than three colors thats ridiculous! When I can get the same thing somewhere else, and pay a whole lot cheaper. Then the owner isn't even as friendly as she used to be, and barely says hello to her clients just stinks that were all considered numbers these days. I recently had a new set of acrylic nails put on by Cindy. I've had these type of nails for many years ... this is the WORST set of nails I've ever had put on. To start with, Cindy was in such a hurry to get my current set off it ended up being quite painful ... I felt like she just wanted to move on to her next customer. I made an appointment at 11am monday morning for a mani/pedi. The interior design of the salon is beautiful. Cool colors adorn the walls to help you relax and feel comfortable. Music is just at the right volume and the chairs are so comfortable. The experts here are so professional and kind. Went to the salon this afternoon and witnessed an unprofessional behavior. I am not sure what happened between the customer and Hanna but what I observed is Hanna (the name on the tag) kept saying "get lost" and "go away" to one of her customers after the service (manicure) was provided and Hanna got paid. What shocked me the most is that she kept saying "get lost" and "go away" to the customer in front of the salon's staff and customers. I also saw that the customer approached the acting that day manager (I am assuming to complain) before she exited the salon; however, I did see Hanna is being admonished for creating the scene. As a customer, I find Hanna's behavior very unprofessional and unacceptable. It was very offensive to observe the scene created by Hanna. read more

I have never had such horrible service, it was if they wanted to get me in ad out of there as quickly as possible.
