Horrible service, first & last time. I don't know who the hell I had but this is what the woman did to my nails! I wanted a refill of my bio gel, she was rough, cut me twice with the damn nail filer! When I told her she cut me her response was the filer is new that's why. No dumb ass it's because you're rushing! They were closing soon, but I did not know that. So why take me if you're going to rush. Just say no!!! She put so much bio gel on my nails all at once because she wanted to finish faster but it was sooo bad she had bio gel in my skin. When I saw my middle finger nail was so crooked because she filed down half my fucking nail, I just said no and take it all off, I don't want it. I left the salon while my sister in law finished her nails and they still charged my sister in law 10 dollars for me. I have been doing my nails for years!!! This is the first time ever I actually had to say no and take it all off. The pictures of the salon is also a lie, this place does NOT look like this! Horrible horrible salon. Nail Lounge is fairly new in the area and offers a more modern, upscale facility without trying too hard. There are separate rooms for waxing, kids play area, massage and acupuncture (which is offered downstairs) It's nice that the table surfaces are always clean and without clutter. Decent working area for nail technicians and clients can be more comfortable. Friendly staff and free WiFi. Drinks available upon request. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I've been a long time customer of Elaine (the manager I believe) since before she ever worked here. Her attitude, and customer service has depleted over the years to the point of blatant disrespect. The last time I was here Mimi yelled at me over a misunderstanding on the phone (that she was in the wrong for). I do not like confrontation so I quietly sat while Mimi yelled in front of the whole store. Another customer intervened and told her not to talk to me like that and that's when she stopped. I have not stepped foot back into this establishment until today. I seen Elaine inside Sheridan Mall yesterday. She told me she was leaving the country, and said I should come for some services before she left. We agreed upon 2pm today. I'm here now, very early, only to have her coworkers tell me she's gone to do her hair and won't be back until this evening. I called her (yes, we have each others cell #) and asked her what was going on. She told me she forgot she had a hair appointment and to come back later or tomorrow. WTF!!!!! I travelled 2hours to get here, and I told her that. I have to go to work and don't finish until AFTER the Nail Lounge is closed. This is bullshiit and a prime example of the lack of respect her money hungry-ass has for customers. No respect, especially since she HAS MY FXN NUMBER!!!! This is why I have been happily getting my nails done @MonLuxeNails. YES MonLuxeNails has better nail techs. None of this "I can't do that" bullshiit when u bring nail designs u want done. They use top-of-the line products. Swarovski crystals, not the cheap "diamonds" they use in the Nail Lounge. Impeccable customer service, and most importantly, they treat everyone with RESPECT. If I could give no stars I would. I'm mad I even paid / tipped out it kindness. The lady , her name was Elaine, was beyond aggressive with my nails, and was very messy. I got a dip powder manicure , and I've gone to so many other salons and gotten it done countless times/ this lady seemed like she was new to it. My nails are so thick and no shaved down well. The was tapping my finger to drop the powder with her NAILS. no gloves. Yes you read that right, NO GLOVES. her dirty finger was almost cutting me. I was so upset. I then get gone, and 8 hrs after my appt my clear polish chips off. This is insane. I'm demanding a refund and never going back. don't waste your time or money. read more

This place was amazing when it first opened up. Since they have a new workers working there, their customer service has gone down but the prices have gone up. They do not treat their return customers with the same respect as other nail salons. They are all money hungry. I've been a customer for 6 years. I went here because of all the five star ratings it had, but was sadly disappointed. The overall experience was terrible! I got a standard pedicure. In general it was pretty awful. My nails were uneven, the paint was sloppy and the massage was terrible. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say I just got the new guy, but what happened as I sat there appalled me! One girl pointed out that her nail was uneven. The technician got offended and told the lady her finger was uneven. (I wish I were joking.) Not 15 minutes later a different customer told a different tech her nails were different lengths. The tech agreed to fix it, then proceeded to do so by filing her first nail down the the nub. The customer got upset and stopped her and asked to talk to a manager. At this point all 4 technicians in the salon started arguing back and forth with the customer. She eventually left with unfinished nails. Long story short, save your time and money and go somewhere else! read more

Linda, one of the employees has done my eyebrows. She has messed it up and made it thinner. I asked the receptionist if there's a way to get my money back but didn't respond and called her. She told me that it's not bad and it wasn't already thin from before but I have a picture of how it looked like before. This isn't my first encounter with her. i was held hostage with my sister they locked us in and wouldnt let us leave. they were forcing us to pay for something we didnt ask for. i asked for just gel nooo shellac but they gave both and charged me 50$ when i was suppose to pay 35$ it was me and my sister vs the whole store everyone was screaming at us i kid you not i was trying so hard not to throw hands. worst nail salon in the city. they threatened to call the police on me for fifteen dollars theyre all cheap and dont give a shit about their customers. read more

Worst Nail Salon ever. Too much talking in vietnamese as they cowardly talk about you. If you make an appointment it is never kept by the technician when you arrive you still have to wait like really why make an appointment. If you complain about the results this is held against you for your next visit. If you are unhappy with the final results the expectation is that you pay, tip, leave and say nothing about what you are disappointed with, because the next time you come in you are talked about in vietnamese and they don't want to perform the service. Then they label you as being a problem customer because you are not suppose to complain about anything. The staff is very confrontational but they do it speaking in vietnamese and also with their body language such as rolling eyes and looking at you like you are nothing. They are also judgemental based on appearance as well as skin colour. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL....its all about the money not the customer. They expect big tips for very poor service for which they often talk about and label you as a non tipper or a small tipper very nervy. These types of behaviours will soon get your doors closed PERMANENTLY. Keep on this path and it won't be long. Word travels this is a very competitive business learn how to be professional and understand the needs of clients. If that can't be done then perhaps it's best to close your doors.
