The absolute worst nail service I've ever experience…read more - asked for square shape with rounded edges. male technician did not round the edges, and when I pointed it out, he proceeded to file further the square shape with the sharpest edges ever - he cut and filed my right thumb nail completely diagonal, it was obvious compared to my other nails. when I pointed it out (twice), he proceeded to file further without correcting the evenness of the shape. he looked like a deer in headlights when I called it out, even my husband pointed it out right away - application of the nail polish itself was not smooth at all, and every time he got polish on my skin outside of my nail bed he would use his own fingernail to wipe clean. gross. - after the top coat was cured, he took a large cotton ball with acetone to clean off any polish around the nails, not realizing the acetone-soaked cotton ball was going over on my newly cured nails, leaving rubbed, matte spots on my nails - no hot towel to finish off my service. like come on, that's the best part of getting a manicure! at one point I thought about leaving halfway through service, like that's how bad my service was. but for $35, i got what I paid for. cheap, crappy nails. i left so quickly after paying, i did not leave a tip. no way did they deserve that With the way my nails look.

I was looking for a new nail salon for my little and I to go to since traveling downtown to do our…read morenails became quite a nuisance and we stumbled upon this place once before and had a pretty good experience but this time, it was not great and honestly, I am going to look for a new place which is unfortunate because I get my nails done once a month and I'm willing to drive and pay whatever if the place is good. The reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because Andy, who did MY nails, was great. I don't know who did my daughter's nails, but I believe it was one of the managers or even the owner but the experience my daughter had was quite poor. I understand that she had moved around a couple of times and i always tell her to make sure she sits as still as she can but she did move a few times, one for an itch on her leg, once because her feet tickled and the other time it was to turn her IPad off (which ok I get it - that's probably annoying to them and that's why I told her to just put it on the floor) and maybe a little jerk here and there but the guy was very aggressive with her and very rude. He kept sighing at her, he would roll his eyes and he kept saying "quit moving!" In a very rude tone and even threatened to take her IPad from her, which is so unprofessional. Again, I understand both sides but she really wasn't that bad and I'm sorry but if 9 year old children annoy you, find someone else to do their nails. I've taken my daughter to our old location and actually one more place the last two years and nobody has ever been this rude to her or that irritated, nobody. I'm very disappointed and she was highly upset at this interaction that I went to complain but I saw him rush around the corner and she started to get upset and didn't want any confrontation, so we left. This ruined her entire experience and I'm not happy. Again, if you don't have patience to do children's nails, then find someone else to do it if you can't control yourself and your tone. We will NOT be back.
