We had the absolute worst experience coming to this salon. The store owner yelled at my sisters and me while we tried to be very respectful. My sister asked him to do another coat on her nails because the color was too light. He refused and continued to argue her. He then asked my 10 year old sister what she wanted, and my 17 year old sister replied for her, because she was nervous and shy to speak to him. My 17 year old sister said that she wanted acrylic French tips and the store owner yelled at her and said "I am not asking you, I am asking her" and continued to yell and scream at us. Went there with three of my girl friends, they got pedicures and I got a gel manicure. They didn't cut or file their toe nails and didn't get the dead skin off the bottom of their feet. I still had purple polish on my nails and hands. We felt very rushed. Won't be back. read more

I always go out of town with my husband and they always have him sit and get a massage in the chairs while they work on my nails. They do amazing work and are always very nice. Me, my sister in law, and mother all came here for pedicures. I was very impressed with the lady who did mine. My feet feel amazing and they do paraffin wax dips for free! Having moved up from California I was looking for a new nail shop around my new area so I ended up here. Starting with the positives...my first time around I got a pedi ($25) with Amy and I loved it she gave me the full pedi time didn't rush and massaged me for a nice amount of time! second time I got a pedi ($25) with Kathy and I enjoyed it not too bad. Third time I came in for a set of nails done by Kathy ($30 regular polish) and compared to my usual nail lady I was not impressed for the price. I usually pay $35 back at home for a full set with gel but here it costs $50 for full set with gel :/ broke a nail exactly 8 days later so I had to fix it and while I was there decided to get the whole fill ($17 for regular polish) and I honestly liked them better than the first time (: I also decided to get my eyebrows waxed ($10 or $11 not sure) by Amy since I also needed a new wax person up here I was very pleased with them (I am extremely picky when it comes to my brows) Now for the cons...unfortunately I came here with my friend twice and both times she got Jimmy she first got a pedi with him and he completely rushed it. While I was still getting massaged he was already done painting her nails :( She unfortunately got him again the next time since he was the one available for shellac manicure and again rushed it! She soaked her fingers in warm water(no soaps or lotions in it) for less than a minute. The paint job looked like she could've done it herself. She decided to let him know before paying and all he offered was to repaint them and he didn't say it too nice either. All in all if you decide to come here ask for Amy or Kathy! (: read more

So unhappy with this place! I was in a time crunch and needed a gel manicure and my regular salon was c' closed. The first step was a soak in what I assumed was a bowl of warm water. As it began to sting I realized that I was soaking in acetone. I should have cut and run then but I didn't. I wish I had because the next step was a grinding the polish off with a dremel. I said that I was concerned that it was damaging my nails but the guy didn't even look up. The rest of the manicure was crap. I swear the guy acted like it was a race. He didn't even put lotion on. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE! DO NOT GO HERE, YOU WILL WASTE TIME AND MONEY AND WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED! I went here for the first time, with no time schedule (so I was not rushing), and looking to get a relaxing pedicure and shellac manicure. The pedicure was relaxing and good, but now that I look closer she missed polish on half of the nails. The manicure was such a disaster that I had to leave and go down the street to Apollo Nails (in tears from the awful experience). The "manager" was the person doing my nails, and he did such a bad job that he needed to remove the polish. I wanted a shellac french manicure, and I asked for the sheer pink base. As he put the second coat on, I noticed that the sides of all of my nails had been missed. I pointed it out to him and asked if he could fix it, but he was insisting it wasn't there. I showed him how there was a clear line of lack of polish at least a quarter of an inch on the right side of each of my right had nails (the side facing away from him) and the same on the left. He then told me "Something is wrong with your nails: it is not me, something is wrong with your nails, I don't know what". Immediately blamed me. I have been getting this same manicure for 13 years, and never once has someone told me there is something wrong with my nails. When I told him that, he said "well maybe there is something wrong with the polish", so I suggested removing it and starting again with a different color. He said he had already wasted enough time on me, and had other customers, and it was not his fault, and he was not going to redo them. Long story short, we went ten rounds, I asked him to remove the polish so I could go to a different salon (he was LOUDLY fighting with me the whole time), and he used a dremel and ruined my nails. Literally ruined the actual natural nail by filing it with a rough dremel, thinning them out, and leaving them rough and ragged. Apollo nails said it was the worst case they had seen, and that he did a very bad number on my nails. He told me he was being kind by not making me pay him for his time, and that I was the problem, and my nails were bad and they wouldn't take polish, and that it was my fault, and I was holding up other customers. To make matters worse, as he checked out other customers, he talked to them about me and the interaction, and asked them "You know me right, I am nice right, I do a good job, right?" Very unprofessional, very frustrating. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

This place is a joke. I called and made an appointment for a Brazilian wax and a full set. When I found out there Brazilian was $50 I stopped myself and said there is an actual spa that specializes in Brazilian for the same amount, so in desperate times I got a Bikini instead. Came in and sat down with a woman who had absolute no interest in doing my nails. Because all the while she did them as fast as she could. When I MEAN AS FAST AS SHE COULD I MEANT IT. Everything about my nails were crooked. She saw there were women at the door and she tried to get them in right away, I hate that! Right after I washed my hands, there was already a girl that sat down on my chair! WTF. MY NAILS WERENT EVEN DONE. The woman that did my brazilian took my phone while I was still on it, and took it away like a child and held on to it the whole time. First off, you don't take people's things without asking (obviously) So you know what that woman did, She took me to an aweful UNSANITIZED room had me pull my pants down while she clear coated my NAILS. ABSOLUTE WTF. I needed a bikini bad so I suffered through it. I've had a Brazilian done before and this woman made it as painful as possible and had wax spilled everywhere. Sooo If there was a 0 star rate option, that is exactly what I would give this nail salon. Yesterday I noticed business was pretty dead for them. However, this not mean that they should take advantage of the only people walking in. Yesterday I asked for my 4 year old daughters nails to be painted (as you may all know 4 year old barely have any nails). I got a gel full set and toe gel nails. Although they did a well job on my hands (with the exception of cutting off one of my cuticles, which hurt), my feet were rushed and I was not asked what I wanted done in the first place. Well long story short I go up to pay and guess what Amy tells me "100 dollars". I lived and grew up in California and went to get my nails done at multiple locations and was NEVER charged that much. SO I asked for a receipt she said "oh yeah, I give you", she started making up prices on a piece of paper with her pen! YIKES! I asked her how much it cost for my daughters nails she said $10 my hands cost $50 and my feet $40 I then looked at their pricing sign hanging up and asked where these prices were at. She did not know how to answer me. I also asked why my hands cost so much for something simple. She said they charge extra for shape of nail (coffin, square, etc) !!!! As she explained this to me she pointed at the pricing sign (and must have thought I was illiterate). Mind you that sign said nothing of that! She knew how dumb she sounded. I told her I was upset because they seemed really friendly. Had they charged me what they were SUPPOSED to charge me I would have been generous to tip well and come again. INSTEAD they decided they would try to rip me off. I told her I would make this review and she quickly told me I would only pay $50. RIDICULOUS! DO NOT GO HERE!!! BE ADVISED IF YOU DO, DO YOUR MATH!! READ!! Another young lady had left there the same night, I stopped her to ask her how much her nails cost her, she said $50! JUST FOR HER HANDS! I used to go here for my pedi and acrylic nails. They did very nice work and I recommended them to my coworkers. Amy had told me that I did not need to make an appointment. So I never did. Several times I drove over there from Bremerton to be told that either they were booked or that the person that does the acrylics was not there. Talked to Amy about whether or not I should make an appointment. She insisted it was not needed. Showed up there a couple of more times over a period of six months, but they were booked and told me to come back another day. Finally gave up going there. Overall, this place is good but had to start going elsewhere for shellac. They ground my nails off to remove the shellac and wanted me to soak my fingers in acetone to remove it. Nails last depending on who does them there. read more

I scheduled for myself and 2 young ladies to all have pedi's together weeks in advance. It was the first pedi for 2 of us so we were expecting wonders. The place was empty when we got there, but as we were picking out our colors (not much to choose from) a walk in mani came through the door. So they filled the 3 tubs to start soaking our feet and then my daughter got her pedi started right away with little time to soak while myself and the other girl sat for quite awhile while the mani was done. By time someone got started with me my soak water was cold. The woman doing mine neglected to take a patch of old orange polish off of my toenail and painted right over it and we were all rushed when another couple of ladies walked in for pedi's. The owners told us repeatedly to write a good review about them, they were very pushy about it. I liked the way my feet felt after, but I don't think I will take the girls there again because of the mediocre service. read more

I will never return here again and will be contacting the BBB & the calling the health department. They do not sterilize any of their instruments before using them on a new person today. Came here a few weeks ago & Kathy did a great job. They do things differently, but I could deal with it. That time they hadn't cut my cuticles, so I thought I would bring it up the next time. Today, 6/16, the "owner" was doing my nails. A man, which I'm always nervous about as they are rough and don't normally do a very good job. He was in a rush as they were busy & he was cutting my "cuticles." He was moving quickly through each cuticle & I asked him if he could cut more of the cuticle. He started over & he started to cut my actual skin, not my cuticles. When I bring this up that he is cutting my skin & not my cuticles, he takes my hands out of the bowl & forcefully wipes my fingers off & tells me I can go somewhere else. Woowwwww. Overreact much? I asked him if he was serious as I was calm & very nice the entire time, hardly even spoke a word other than that. It's like them asking you if you want to keep the length of your nails or not. I have never been treated like this, ever. For asking someone to cut your cuticles a little more & then letting that person know that they are cutting your actual skin & not the cuticle. Yikes. If that is the owner, he has some serious growing up to do & needs to be able to take a suggestion from the person who is paying YOU to let YOU do MY nails. Someone has a temper & is obviously a very nasty person. Time to find a better salon. :) read more

My husband and I came here to get pedicures for our anniversary. They seemed nice at first. Our pedicures probably took no more than 20 minutes the only reason it took a bit longer was because my nail technician would get up to check her phone, when people came in she would go and talk to them and get up to answer the business phone. Our pedis seemed rushed. It would've been the same if I just did my own. She didn't cut my cuticles and the paint job is patchy. When I went to go dry my toes, the lady turned the fan off so what was the point and we got rushed from our massage chairs because two ladies came in waiting for pedis also when there were four more chairs that were open. They also reused someone's flip flop sandals. Or bill was $50 I only tipped the 15% and the lady said something as she looked at how much I gave her. Please don't go here I've been to a lot of salons and there's better places then them. read more
