I really did like coming to Bee Nails. In fact, I had my husband buy me a gift certificate for mani/pedi for Christmas. Unfortunately, while my nail tech was using the "cheese grater" on my callus, she scraped so hard that she took out a big junk of skin. I get it, accidents happen. The thing is, while blood was gushing out, she didn't have a band aid and had to go next door to get one. Then she proceeded to tell me, I must have had a sore on my foot when I came in. I went to Sadie at Bee Nails with my completely ruined split nails from two years of press ons. I did not think anything would be possible. Really...that bad! But Sadie pulled off an acrylic ( she is known as an acrylic artist) miracle for my cruise in two days! I went from anxious and terrified to over the moon with joy! Being an SRQ native, I've tested out a *lot* of the nail salons in town and believe me, Bee Nails is the BEST one! I haven't gone to any other nail salon since I came here in 2016 to get my nails done for my senior prom. I'm usually pretty picky so I refuse to have anyone else touch my nails! I came in today and I felt horrible because it was right before close but they took me right in with the nicest customer service!! The nail technician, Lee, was absolutely phenomenal. Her attention to detail was impeccable and my gel mani looks amazing! She did a regular pedicure too, which looks so good! I was nervous because I had chipped one of my toe nails but she filled it in and it looks like it was never even messed up. She even stayed after everyone had gone home to finish my manicure. You just won't find another nail place like this in town! Overall 10/10 wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

I've been a customer here for years. Great staff, it's clean and they do a fabulous job. When I lived on the other side of town, I would make the drive to go to this salon. Another reviewer said that the staff and/or mamagement has changed so many times, but that is not true. Sadie has been the owner for many years. "The man" is the host of the salon. He answers the phone, greets you with a smile, sets your appointment and will ring you up, so that all of the nail techs can give their client undivided attention. The girls have been there for many years as well. I have known Lee and Tina for a very long time now. Megan, is another one of the girls that I know has been there a long time. Even though she doesn't do my nails I know her because she always smiles and says hello to me as well. I live in Venice but come back hrrr to have my nails done. I have the best manicure done here I have been to three places in Venice and not one measures up to this salon. The salon is a quiet haven and after being gone for a year the owner remembers my name. Impressive! The job my manicurist does is great . I won't tell her name because I want appointments for me in the future. Or anyone who asks me for a tecomendation.!!!! read more

I've been going here for about 1.5yrs. They ate so nice and do a good job. Maggie, Ivy and Sadie are my favorites. Sadie is the owner. The clientele is older, sonits nice and calm while you are there (no one on their cell phone or talking loudly to their friend, etc.). Gel manicure and Spa pedure are my go to treatments. Very disappointed. Here on vacation came to this spot. So first of all we arrived at 1000 and the place was dead. Kind of alarming for nail salons. So the chairs were definitely outdated and the tubs for your feet looked dirty. Still I continued with my pedicure. Usually I like treating myself when I get my toes done but they didn't even offer me a menu to view. So the massage was trash, I mean straight up trash. She wasn't even trying I asked her if she could go a little harder and she started talking in another language and told me she didn't want to hurt me. The manicure was about the same, she messed up on one of the nails and when I asked her to fix it she told me it was the nail polish not her but she corrected it and when she gave me my "massage" she was yawning, So damn rude. Super outdated and a waste of my money. The nail dryer looked like a hand dryer in the bathroom. Oh and all there awards were ranging from 2000-2011. Tina is an excellent nail tech.... the rates are maybe 5 dollars more than the average at area salons but I believe that their salon is cleaner and perhaps more thorough per service than normal. After a few visits my daughters and I have decided that this is not a place to go. The prices for the same things change every time and they will tell you its an extra $ for almost anything you ask. Mostly they do this to high schoolers. They will also talk you into something you clearly state you do not want. I wouldn't recommend. I would look for a place that has some values and doesn't try to take advantage of the customer. I have been here three times in the last two months. Pedicure, shellac manicure and wax. I had Ivy and she is very detailed, gentle and does a great job. I don't know about everyone else there but I am very pleased wtih her work. I have gone to a lot of salons and I have another nail person but with the snow birds she hiked her manicure price to $60! I've been coming here for years. Nice clean nail salon. $35 for a mani/pedi can't be beat and I get an eye brow wax for $10.

I was really disappointed. There were 4 of us that had an appointment at the same time and they made one if us wait 35 min before starting. They charge $5 for lotion that is totally not worth it. Massage was over in the blink of an eye, and it was $10 more than the place I normally go to that is right up the road. Their nail polish looks gross, cakey and diluted.
