I've visited this location twice, and for the most part services are okay. My first time here I came for a no chip overlay, the nail technician was very nice and took his time. However, there were some minor mistakes he made that he didn't correct. But, it wasn't as noticeable so I didn't mind as much. Now, the customer service of the owners is different. The lady whose sits at the front I feel is very passive and has a aggressive tone. They rush you into picking colors, which I cannot stand. Give me time to look for exactly what I want. However, you are seated quickly. The overall, appearance of this place is a 5/10 for me. The floors and stations are dirty which is a big NO! NO! There's plenty of nail technicians in there that can help assist with a quick sweep and mop. I've noticed they typically give everyone the same no chip color selector which is lazy in my opinion. However, there stills a wide range of colors, dip powders etc. I wish majority of nail shops focused more on healthy nails and quality work instead of doing rush jobs, and not learning whose being seated in front of you. Lastly, they second encounter was to get my eyebrows done. Now I will say the lady who does them did a great job on mines! But!!!! She used waayyy to much wax for my liking *I prefer arch, but most shops claim they don't know how*. I'm not a fan of the tweezers either, most eyebrow techs don't cater to sensitive skin. With that being said, after she finished my brows she wiped them with ALCOHOL instead of, of oil. And, that sh*t burned!!!!! I didn't appreciate that AT ALL. & that took away from her work! This Nail Spa is at 13077 S Ashland Ave, Calumet Park, IL 60827, 708 388-1288. I was there with family members. I watched these people overcharge a mother that was there with her three daughters. She just wanted regular polish for her daughter but was charged for some expensive nail chip polish. The guy said that the daughter asked for it. This is far from the truth. The mother explained or told him at the beginning what she wanted for her daughters. You cannot ask a child what she wants when her mother is paying for it. This was totally disrespectful, unprofessional. He did not care. African American stop giving these people your money there are better places, and they will respect you. This place uses cheap products that you have no idea what this is doing to you. They are rude, but want your money. Wake up people!!!! read more

Now the bad thing is it was a rush experienced, I felt like the man just turn the water on , scrub and file my foot and it was over. They did a great job on my no chip fill in. However... My pedicure was very mediocre and lazy. No liners in the pedi bowl was the first red flag. She skipped a lot of standard steps. She didn't scrub my feet either. Anyway, the polish was uneven, streaky and ran over onto my cuticles. She "forgot" to buff that's why the polish was so messy looking. She tried to polish over the streaks but I told her remove it completely and start over. I'll return for fill ins only... the pedi was a waste of time and $. I'm never going back again. They trimmed my big toes cuticle to low and my flesh was showing. Now both my big toe nails is growing cracked cause they seperated my skin from my nail bed at the base and now have to see a podiatrist to pull the nail off to grow back normally. Came in for a pedicure at 5:04pm and was done at exactly 5:17pm. The fastest pedicure I've ever received. I watched the nail tech cit the water on in the bowl but didn't put anything in it, when I asked about it he said he did it's just really small. I gave him a look and he then asked if I wanted him to put another in there so I stated yes. The nail tech was rushing and cut my toe nails uneven. I almost didn't go in based on the previous reviews and when you sort on nail salons in the 60827 zip Yelp takes you to Oak Lawn, which are 5 to 10 more dollats per service. I was pleasingly surprised. The receptionist greeted me, the young lady whom was assigned to give me my pedicure was friendly, efficient and thorough. I'm so crazy. I went back last week Wednesday (25). Got my nails done. (Sigh) by Saturday (28) night a couple of them were coming off. I swear this place has really gone down in the past few months. I use to get my nails done here, and they would last two, almost three weeks with no breakage. They must be using cheap acrylic and gel. I MUST FIND A NEW PLACE. I even went back Sunday to see if I could get a replacement nail because one came off Sunday morning. The owner charged me $3.00. I hate this place with a passion now. This place is HORRIBLE! I came in and asked for their "special" (mani/pedi for $30) and my gf got a pedi and a full set. I paid $90+ for their services and the results were horrendous. Firstly, the polish on my nails start chipping the NEXT DAY. Upon returning, I had received attitude when I told them about my nails, the owner tries to say it was MY FAULT that the nails chipped the next day. I waited over 40 mins so the same nail tech that messed up my nails the first time could repaint my nails. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyway. Do not waste your time or money with this business. Secondly, my gf asked for coffin nails and they are much wider than they've ever been. My mom and I went here for pedicures because it's closest to her house. The pedicures were mediocre at best. Quick job, no foot scrub and to top things off I used a credit card that I hadn't used in over two months, I watched the guy slide my credit card and hand it back to me, the transaction seemed pretty normal. Two days later my credit card company started calling me with over 500.00 worth of fraudulent transactions in Texas. I wish zero stars was an option. I came with my girlfriend to get services done (two pedicures, full set, & acrylic). The pedicures were ok. The service & the color selections were horrible. The employees argue back & forth with one another. The guy who did my nails was so rough even after me telling him that this was a problem. He was also very sloppy. When he finished there was acrylic peeling. My nails were still sore the next day! I was so displeased with my nails. They were chunky and the shapes were off! My girlfriend got a pedicure and her nail polish began chipping the next morning. We came back to the nail shop to get them fixed and the person greeting us acted like it was a problem. There were many employees who were available & could've fixed it but it's their "policy" to have the person who did it fix it. So we had to wait until the worker got done doing a pedicure and manicure for someone else just to get the nail fixed! But this isn't it; as we're waiting to get the nails fixed, the owner is yelling at a customer with an attitude because of miscommunication with another work regarding a service. The customer remained calm but the owner was very rude. Needless to say, I would not recommend this shop to anyone!! This is the worst place to get your nails done, they are using cheap gel on nails. I should not need to get a fill in 4 days after getting my nails done. They rush and don't file properly.
