This salon may be good for just manicures and pedicures but please don't come here for fills. I went in for a fill and told them my nails are really thin and the two that needed to be taken off we're already ripping. The lady who was taking off my nail kept forcefully taking off my nail. I told her at least 3 times to take them off on the bottom but she kept trying to take them off from the tip of my nail. She ended up ripping my nail making it bleed like crazy. Infuriating. Save yourself the pricy $50 they charged me for a fill. Ridiculous. read more

Where do I begin? I came in on a rather slow Wednesday afternoon and my nail tech Lisa was amazing! I was pretty indecisive on what color I wanted and she was so helpful and patient. I had really high hopes my first time going here! It was close by my work and the salon was cute & comfy. I had showed the nail tech the reference photo of what I wanted my nails to look like. I had acrylics on and she took them off by cutting and chipping them off my nails. She was very rough with my fingers and had no regards to my actual nail. She proceeded to apply the new set & while I had originally asked for them to be longer, she decided to cut them because they were still "too long." After she applied the acrylic to one hand, she had another tech come and paint the hand she had finished. This was her second attempt at the snake. At this point my fingers were hurting and I just wanted to get out of there. While focusing on her trying to make the snake, I did not notice the original tech mishaping my nails. By the time they were getting finished it was closing time and they were all rushing to get out. I felt uncomfortable expressing my discomfort and am very displeased with the service. read more

Husband was getting a haircut nearby, so I walked around to find a nail place to kill time. I stumbled upon Nail Spa and am SO happy I did. It is extremely clean, the ladies were all very nice and she did the best job filing my nails at any non-fancy nail place I've ever been to. Not too square, and not too 80's-y round. Perfection! They have a great selection of polish and I didn't have to wait at all. For $15, this was the best manicure I've ever had. This is my new spot! read more

I used to frequent the nail spa a lot a couple years ago, I even got their Christmas card but I just went back this weekend and did not have as great of a time as I remembered. I got a manicure and pedicure which was OK but the thing that I didn't like is that they made me get up a switch chairs in the middle of my mani and pedi because two girls came in and they wanted to sit next to each other. Now, I totally understand wanting to sit next to the person you came with but if there isn't a chair available then they should wait, you shouldn't inconvenience your current customers. As previously stated, some of the technicians that work here are pushy and too quick. It is kind of expensive too, $45 for manicure and pedicure. Three days later my manicure is pretty non-existent. From the tired and cheap ambiance to the service, the place is mediocre at best. The chairs don't have a massage function, and the foot bath is just a plain tub without whirlpool. In addition, they don't add any bath salts or softener a to the water. My pedicurist spent very little time on my heels, which are my biggest problem. Also I had to use my own "seche vite" top coat because the stuff they carry is some cheap generic brand not OPI or Essie. Overall, the place is way too overpriced for a $40 pedicure. $30 for the most luxurious, relaxing, longest-lasting pedicure. I have some calluses on my feet and she actually took this little belt-sander thing to them. Sounds scary but it was painless and my feet have never felt so soft. They spent an hour on me...massaging, putting lotions on, clipping and pampering my feet. The woman who did my mani/pedi was very friendly and did a quality job. They seem pretty sanitary there. My manicurist made some good small talk which was a good change from my other nail salon experiences. she also took her time and scrubbed and buffed with care. I've been coming here for 5 years but each time I go now, the price increases and the quality goes down. Very rushed service. The lady asked if I wanted my shoulders massaged while i sit in the chair which is normally included with the service. When I went to check out, they charged me $20 for a shoulder massage that she only did on one shoulder. The pedicure was $43 + $20 for a one-shoulder massage that is painful to touch today. The pedicure was very basic. They didn't use paraffin wax or anything special to smooth the skin on my feet. I'm definitely not coming back anymore. $43 for a very basic pedicure is ridiculous. read more

I went here with two girlfriends and we all had pedicures. There was absolutely no one waiting while we were there and four people working yet the nail technician rushed through mine. My feet weren't even soft afterward she pulled them out of the water a minute after I sat down, did barely any sanding, literally less than 30 seconds and the foot massage was about a minute with no pressure. My friends liked theirs and significantly more time was spent on them, I would also say that everyone working there was nice. Regardless $35 for what I got left me feeling ripped off. When the woman took my money and offered me change she didn't give it to me she held it close to her as if expecting me to offer it as her tip. Kind of gutsy after the rush job. I think this place is inconsistent you could have a good experience but it isn't worthwhile as far as I'm concerned. read more

I wanted to get gel nails removed and decided to try this place. I was taken right away but although I told the woman that took me (she didn't give me her name and had no name tag) that I had gel nails she tried using regular nail polish remover first. When that didn't work she got out the acetone and foil wraps, which from my research is standard, and proceeded to wrap each finger as required. However, she didn't bother to protect the finger around the nail so the process did burn a finger that had a hangnail. She didn't wait more than 2-3 minutes and then she started removing the foil, cotton ball and literally needed to scrape the polish off. It was pretty obvious my nails were damaged in this process although she assured me she would smooth them by buffing them. Buffing to her meant using a file buffer. She let me soak my hands about 2 minutes and then started the polish phase. I had picked out regular polish and she put on the clear coat, one coat of polish and another coat of drying clear. Then she put me under a heater fan and told me she was leaving that I owed $20 when I left but I should stay under the fan for 10 minutes. I stayed the 10 minutes and although the nails seemed dry by the time I got home and grabbed my things from the car two nails just wiped off, not chipped, but wiped. I think she needed to wash my hands of the acetone a little better before putting on the polish since it appeared the polish just didn't adhere to the nail. I will NEVER go back to this place again, although the price was good the end result was very satisfactory and I didn't get the impression the person that did my nails cared about her work at all. read more
