I have been coming here for some time but recently took a hiatus and I'm glad that I did because I doubt I will be coming back unless it's a nail emergency. I walked in on a semi-busy Saturday for a gel manicure and pedicure. I waited a short time before being escorted into the back room where some little girls were finishing up a birthday party. That wasn't such a big deal except the children were screaming and running around and I was there to relax. I sat with my feet in the water for maybe fifteen or twenty minutes before the services were started. The services were done simultaneously, which was great, however, about half way through my manicure, the gentleman performing said manicure took several phone calls in regards to his brother and some type of legal trouble. Again, I was there to relax, not listen to your employee yell about his personal issues. Then, I assume they were children of employees, came back to the area that I was in and started playing and making a lot of noise. Again, trying to relax here. The pedicure was great, the gel has maintained well, however, the manicure was terrible. I had to tell him what shape I wanted, he never asked, and the gel kept bubbling and he kept having to remove it and start over. He began to get very frustrated and tried to convince me to do a pink gel instead of white. I insisted on white because that's what I came in for. He stopped the manicure and told me that someone else would be over to fix it. I waited another five minutes before another gentleman came over to fix my nails. He was able to keep the white from bubbling but left black specks or something in the gel. At check out, I told them that I was very dissatisfied with my nails and they offered to fix it for free but I would have to come back another day. By the way, the gel on my nails has already chipped! After two days! It's supposed to last two weeks plus. So no, that's okay, I won't be back. I'll drive the twenty plus minutes to Kennesaw to go somewhere that I know does an amazing job and has done so consistently. I also suggest that you offer more than one brand of white gel. Whatever they were using was not a brand that I had ever seen or heard of. At least the place is Kennesaw uses OPI and I know that is a great brand. read more

I have gone there off and on for a while and always had a great experience until recently. The last 4 time I have gone my experience gets worse and worse. When I went in I had nail polish on and instead of using some kind of acetone she used the electric nail file not only on the existing acrylic nail but also my actual nail. It got very hot and painful. My nails are crooked, cracking, and just an overall mess. It has been only 2 weeks, I get them filled in or a new set every two weeks, and they look like I have I haven't redone them in maybe a month. They are super thick and when I tried to say something the lady doing my nails kept telling me no and they are thin. The lady next to me had an issue with the way here nails were painted and was also greeted with arguments about nothing being wrong. My cuticles were so bad they started to peel and bleed the next day. I will not be getting my nails done here again. I'm going to have to have these removed and wait for the skin around my some of my nails to heal before I do anything else. read more

So disappointed! I've been here three or four times, mainly based on Yelp reviews. The last time I went will be my last period, though. My girlfriend and I went in together (just like every other time) and requested manicures with gel nail polish. We both needed acrylic repairs on a couple of fingernails. My friend was completely finished in 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I sat next to her waiting for someone to do my nails. The first person couldn't do acrylic. The second person could, but apparently had something better to do. The third couldn't do acrylic either, and finally someone came over who could. After telling him that I need a new tip three times, I finally had to pull my hand away and tell him a fourth time I needed a new tip because he still insisted in just painting acrylic over my cracked real nail. Then he realized the nail polish we had chosen did not match the color on the sample, so he took another five minutes hunting the real color. By then, my friend had waited another 20 minutes for me and we still hadn't even painted my nails, so I said to just pick a close color and come paint them. I talked to the manager and to the owner about being unhappy about the wrong color and the wait, only to hear both of them respond, "Oh." They obviously do not care about whether or not their customers are happy, so I will no longer be one. read more

I came in late but I did ask if it was okay I gave them a list of what I wanted done and they welcomed me right in and said it was ok I happened to see my sister there and they sat me next to her ok on woman started on my feet and was paying no attention to my feet she was just chatting it up looking side to side then she carelessly put my leggings over my legs that were recently scrubbed and lotioned and not fully dryed , my sister complained about how the guy was juust free drawing on her toes he did a whole bunch of colors and she hates so much color . She felt bad and didnt wanna colmplain so I did it for her so the guy made the other lady go fix it cause he wanted to "hurt" her so she fixeed it up pretty nice but was talking shit with the rest of the store the whole time they would say rude remarks under theyre breath like they couldnt get an education and do something else with theyre lives then they NEVER warned me that the color I was getting (mood gel) was orange at first so I made her take it off she complained I was pissed it was so unprofessional all in all I can say the woman who did my eybrows did an amaazzziiing job :) thats about it me and my sister were really unsatisfied read more

In effort to get a star you will have to provide star service. This star is for Jordan. Who attempted to recover my nails after they had been butchered so badly. Story: So I tried something new with my nails that my friend had suggested (an overlay) I had never had one done on myself before. The guy who did my nails, did not know what it was and obviously had never done one before. Looking at my nails, I was assuming. The guy who had done my nails shaved them down too short and, my nails were crooked. He took FOREVER to finish an overlay which should have probably taken anywhere from 30-45 minutes. I got to the shop about 2:30, by the time I left, it was three minutes till 5pm. When he finished my nails they were shaven down to the nub and no nail left, and, they were not shaped, I couldnt argue cause i had a kid to pick up from the daycare. I paid the fee or $57. I got irritated cause the guy just assumed that i wanted to give him a tip, AND WITHOUT ASKING IF I WANTED TO LEAVE A TIP. He pocketed my money. I then asked the woman (manager) if tips were mandatory, she just nodded. Again, didn't have time to argue, so i left. After about an hour i decided i could not live with the mess of a nail, i went back up there and told them i did not like my nails and i wanted them redone. I then stated BECAUSE I HAD TO DRIVE 30 MINUTES OUT OF MY WAY, WILL I BE GETTING A COMPLIMENTARY MANICURE? The manager (Kim) nodded yes. It never happened. After Jordan had made me feel better about the whole nail issue, I asked her again, and she told me WE DON'T GIVE COMPLIMENTARY MANICURES. Lies...but I didn't argue. WHEN YOU SAY YOU'RE GOING TO DO SOMETHING, YOU SHOULD DO IT. Your worker fouled up and as the owner, manager its up to you to try and make it right. Thats business. And, Thats the reason you see this negative review. Shout out to Jordan for fixing my nails. Cause that one star is for you. read more

I was referred here and told to get a mani/pedi with "Betty." When I arrived and said I had an appt with Betty, a very young woman named Betty gave me a fantastic pedicure. I found out later that the Betty to whom I was referred is an older woman, the owner. If you call asking for services from Betty the owner, she will switch you to someone else upon arrival. So far, everyone I have been switched to has been excellent, but I do not like to feel manipulated or "hustled." Also, be very specific about what service you are ordering. They have a laminated menu, and you need to see it first. If not, you could find yourself charged for the higher-priced choice without your having agreed to it. If not for the service-provider switcheroos and "upsells" I would rate this place 5 stars. read more

I have been going to this place for last 5 years and always had excellent service. Now,the place is under new management and Kim and Tom are gone. The service has really gone downhill. I got a full body wax and still had many hairs. Tried to show them but they did not make right. Very poor customer service. Came back and tried them one more time. Asked for fill in. Instead of acrylics (which is what I had) they gave me something called "Solar Nails" which was $28.00 higher. Spoke to the manager and was told I should have specified that I wanted acrylics and not "Solar Nails". He charged me the extra $28.00 and was rude and disrespectul to me during my attempts to explain the issue. Won't be going back. It's a shame because this place used to be wonderful. read more

I have been a customer since 2000. The service used to be outstanding and you could always count on getting an experienced nail artist. The customer service has declined under new ownership. After my experience yesterday, I will be shopping around for a new salon for my pink and whites. I got a full set on January 5. I have had to have five nail repairs since, due to the tips breaking off! This has NEVER been an issue before and I have been wearing nails since 1996. I get fills on a biweekly basis. The only difference this time was the tech, who was average as far as the skill set. I talked to the manager when I went to get my fill,on both my last session and this session. They charged me to correct them!!! I do not believe that I should have to pay to fix something that was not done correctly the first time. And as a customer service manager, I found this to be short-sighted. They lost a loyal customer over 10.... read more
