I went in and explained what I wanted done. At first, I felt her trimming my eyebrows with scissors. I noticed she was trimming the top because my eyebrow hairs do grow upward a little, and I'm used to that being done at other threading places. But then I started feeling her trim the bottom of my eyebrows, and I could hear her clipping on my left eyebrow specifically. After that, she stopped and didn't really trim the other brow. The bottom of my eyebrows usually never gets trimmed, so this already felt unusual to me. She then started threading, and I did feel like she was taking off more hair than usual. Mind you, my eyebrows were not overgrown at all because I had already gotten them threaded somewhere else about 3-4 weeks ago. They still had a nice shape, so realistically this appointment should have just been a cleanup. Once she finished and brushed my eyebrows down a bit, they honestly looked okay at first glance when she showed me. However, today when I went to put gel in my eyebrows and lightly shape them the way I normally do, I immediately noticed blunt cuts. I tried styling them, but the hair on the bottom is now too short because too much was cut off. It honestly looks like I'm missing hair in certain spots because of how much was trimmed. I also noticed some micro bleeding/red spots around my neck and chin area after the facial threading. I'm not sure if that is considered normal, but it is something I experienced after the service. I uploaded pictures -- the first one shows how my eyebrows looked before, and the other pictures show how they look now. I'm leaving two stars because my other eyebrow does look good and they are even. If she hadn't trimmed the bottom, I honestly feel like they would have turned out really nice. At this point there's not much I can do besides wait for them to grow back. I also have a wedding to attend this weekend, so hopefully an eyebrow pencil does the trick. Needless to say, I'm disappointed because I chose this place based on all the great reviews I had seen.

Been going to this nail shop for about 4-5 years and even stopped at one point because while the man that owns the place is a sweetheart and does an excellent job doing nails, his wife is a beast. She's extremely rude. Rude like she hates life or maybe Black people. Pick a struggle. I've never seen her greet anyone with a smile or conduct pleasing conversations. She never acts like she is providing a service and appreciates your business, well, MY business. She never says thank you for coming or even have a good day. It got to the point where he would finish my nails and get ready to seat me with her to get them painted and I would quickly say never mind. So after a few years of customer abuse, it's apparent that she is not changing and to avoid catching an assault case I won't be back. I pass a million nail salons to get that one. So you would think every time I came in I'd be greeted with a smile, right? Wrong. But it's ok. That's the beauty of having a choice. They brought us in promptly. We had the manicurists, Ku and Dianna. They made us feel at ease and relieved the tension via massages and the awkwardness of getting your nails done, in the first place. Went in for a mani/pedi appt with Tami after reading reviews in yelp. Decided not to pay for a gel manicure because it was my first time and didn't want to feel like I wasted my money. Let me tell you... The basic mani lasted a full week with I chips. Polish on my toes lasted 2 and a half weeks. The place was nice and clean the staff was very friendly. It was not busy but I did spend two and a half hours there which wasn't clear why until other customers showed up and she left me to help them. I am from Sacramento and needed a dip fill it's okay they did not have dip other than clear and then they polish over the dip with gel. The filing of my nails were okay so far they're strong we'll see how long they last. Giving a four because I like to get in and out of the nail shop with my own shop I'm in and out in an hour pedicure and dip nails.

I came here strictly because it was recommended and to…read morego to a specific technician ( Louie ) he was with a customer but I informed him I was more than willing to wait for him and I also explained the color I wanted and that I wanted gel polish, yet I was abruptly handed off to another technician ( lady with short hair with glasses) who was visibly irritated about having to help me. From the moment she started, her attitude was rude, cold, and unprofessional. No greeting, no communication, nothing. She was extremely rough with my feet, scrubbing so hard that it actually hurt my heel. This was not a "thorough" pedicure it was careless and painful. When she finished, she simply said "Okay, I'm done," got up, and immediately went to another customer. What made this even worse was watching her completely change her behavior for the next client greeting them warmly, asking how they were doing, and discussing color options. Clearly...courtesy only applies to certain customers. As a new customer, this was a terrible first impression. I felt disrespected and unwelcome. This place clearly does not value new clients, and the lack of professionalism was shocking. I would absolutely NOT recommend this salon, especially if it's your first time. I will not be returning, and I do not want that kind of negative energy touching me again.

Been here twice just for pedicure. Both times I've just walked in around noon and they've sat me…read moreright away. The staff is all friendly, and they actually try to have a conversation with you instead of awkwardly talking to each other the entire time. My toes always turn out nice, one time the girl apologized she forgot the bottom coat and she redid the two toes she realized she forgot. The music is good, which I find important if I'm sitting for a long period of time. The tv always has entertaining shows to watch, not just the news lol. So overall, I will continue coming here for my pedis :)

I totally recommend him. His wife is there too, they keep a very clean salon.
