I've gone here 3 times. My first experience was good. The woman who was doing my pedicure was interrupted by another. I don't know what they were saying but it seemed like the woman was taking too long to do my pedi so they switched places. Both women were very polite to me and they did a good job. The second experience wasn't as great. The woman who took care of me was very plain and serious, not friendly at all. My toe nail was broken and I thought she would recommend something to fix it but she just polished over it. She was also a little rough with my pedicure. And there was a man laying in the chair next to me talking to her. Then there were children running around the salon. One of the kids started crying and went up to the woman doing my pedicure for comfort so I figure they were related. I find the fact that family members and people who aren't working are just hanging out in the salon. The ambience of the salon was not very relaxing as a result. The third time was okay. This visit was only a week after the second because my broken nail was even more noticeable. I asked for them to do what they could to fix the nail so they put acrylic on it. But the acrylic was put on unevenly and so now I am disappointed. The woman who did my pedicure (same woman from the first visit) did do a detailed job though. This is easily the worst nail salon on the East side of Palmdale. I've lived here for a while and they're CONSISTENTLY terrible. I only go there for simple services like gel nail polish removal now, because I'd never pay them to actually do a new set of anything again. This time I just went to have my full set of acrylic nails removed and to have my natural nails painted, clear. I didn't even ask for a full manicure because I knew they would murder my cuticles and I'd leave with jagged nails. One of the guys did my nail removal. As he clipped the nails he threw them over his shoulder, almost hitting his coworker behind him several times. I could not believe it, I literally laughed because I thought he was trying to be funny. He then proceeded to try to pull each nail off.... Just yanking it from one side. I had to snatch my hand away to get him to stop and try a different method. I let him paint my nails and he left every nail uneven and the polish was all over my fingers. I asked if he was drunk! Please just go to any of the other nail salons in the area . Omg I love this place. I usually go to two different nail salons around the area but today they were rude and they said the wait was like 1 hr and there were like two people waiting. Any way I went into Nailissimo and they were very full but instead of just shooing me away or telling me it was going to be hours they greeting me nicely say me down and started my water. I didn't think I would be sat down right away because there were only 2 ladies doing pedicures and almost all of the chairs were full. Long story short I was taken very well care of, the lady Tina who did my nails did a fantastic job!!! I love my toes!! And my eyebrows came out better than they have ever been... I went in to get a pedicure with my mom and the got us soaking in the chairs right away. They started on my moms pedicure, but left me soaking in the chair for 35 mins without anyone coming to speak to me and let me know someone would be with me in a little. I went to talk to someone about how upset i was that no one came to help me and the lady just laughed. Worst experience I have had at a nail salon. I had made an appointment and when I walked in another woman walked in behind me. She had broken three nails so the woman asked me if I could wait. That has always bothered me because then making an appointment really makes no difference. I told the woman i had something to do so she let me go first. The woman's nails were long so when she was working on my nails I could feel them digging into my skin. Then when it was time to paint I thought the color I had chosen was too bright so I asked her if I could change it really quick. She literally rolled her eyes and said "hurry! There's 2 people behind you!!" which was my fault apparently. Definitely did not feel welcome and the paint job was so thick I'm going to another place to get it fixed. Went into this salon today. New to the area btw. It was empty not 1 customer only 1 employee. Needed my acrylics and all nail polish removed due to upcoming surgery. The employee asked if i wanted a new set i obviously could not get one even if i wanted to. She said "no new set? How about pedicure?" And again i said i only need everything off. She then said "oh the person that could remove them doesnt work today. Today only pedicures" .then why even ask if i wanted a full set?? She obviously didnt want to spend the time on me if i wasnt getting the full treatment smh.. i asked if she knew of any other salon because i dont know the area, she laughed it off and said "why dont you go drive around and look" . Im not surprised the salon is empty if this is the way they treat a potential customer.. in an empty business you should accept any $$$ coming through the door. But then again she was busy doing her own nails. Very nice inside but poor customer service. And the employee should be fired. She let a potential returning customer walk out the door. When I was about 10 (yes I know this is a late review but my mom just had a bad experience with them and I thought I'd share) my dumb a** grandma took me there to get my nails done and then left me there. We had called hours before and they told me 20$ for a full set, so I'm extatic cuz they are the cheapest place I can find. My grandma gave me $40 and like I said left me there. So I get my nails done, I paint them cuz she told me $5 to paint and then she told me $10 to paint my toes so I thought ok I should have an exact amount with a $5 tip. I remember telling her a few times that I only had $40 because I have anxiety so every time she offered me something new I said "I only have $40 how much is it?" Anyways we get done with my nails and she told me $75. My heart sank, I was terrified! I kept saying "you told me 20 for the nails! What made it so expensive?" And I never got a clear answer, she talked really fast and had an deep accent. I was blowing up my grandma to come get me and pay them but little did I know at the time she was on drugs so she left me there. The lady called the cops on me for refusing to pay and yes I know it wasn't because of my grandma because when she talked to the cops she talked reeeaally slow and tried her best to speak clear english, so I could hear her tell the cop that she told me the nails where 30 and she put gel polish that costed 15 on my hands and my feet (she didnt) and I'm over here thinking, she told me $75, but she's telling the cops 60 but whatever. by the end of it the only way they would let me leave was to give them my cell phone that I had just got for my birthday so I popped out my SD card and never looked back on that place. This was one of my most traumatizing experiences as a kid, it didn't help that I sat outside for about 3 hours waiting for my grandma but having the cops called on me at 10 was pretty terrifying read more

So I normally only come here to get my eyebrows done (both ladies that do them are pretty bomb) I've had a few other services done from time to time but have always had mixed feelings. Well Saturday I was in a time crunch and needed to get my nails/toes done. I'm greeted almost immediately every time I walk in and the most I ever have waited has been about 5-10 minutes (they aren't often very busy or crowded which I like) Anyway the service. Hands down the best service I've had from this place since I've started going. The lady that did my pedicure was super attentive,took her time and the massage was great. (Really felt like she knew what she was doing) But my oh my man that did my nails, he was the absolute best. He was also very attentive & took his time but he also chatted with me the whole time. I definitely will be coming back as long as he's around. My only complaint for this visit would have to be she didn't turn on the massaging part of my chair but no big deal. I thought this nail place was pretty good until today. I had went in and I was trying to ask a question because one of my nails got loosened up and I was wondering if they were able to fix it but instead, in the middle of my sentence I got interrupted and the lady was really really rude to me. I'm not saying which one it is because I don't like mentioning people but I just know that I don't think I will ever go back again. It made me feel like a fool. This is the second time we go here and although they are very nice we probably won't be going back. The first time we went in for a Pedi and they sat us down right away saying there was no wait time but then kept us waiting for a really long time. To the point where the water was cold. Our main issue though is that their nail polish doesn't last very long. We had our nails done for Easter Sunday and by the afternoon one of my nails was already chipped. Only one star because when I went in to get a full set they looked great the girl that did them was very nice and sweet but the nail polished chipped the next day and within a week I had to get a fill. The only reason I give this 2 stars is because the lady who did my eyebrows did an awesome job and the pedicure was alright.. I went in for a full set and a pedicure. The man who did my full set was extremely rude and forceful with my fingers. He wasn't comfortable to be around at all. They asked me 3 times how I wanted my nails, and I guess the message didn't go through because he did just a basic white tip nail with white powder when I specifically asked for pink all 3 times. He was in such a rush, my nails were crooked and started lifting after 2 days. The only time he tried to be nice was when it was time to pay. My pedicure was rushed. They didn't clean up my cuticles or anything. But she did get the calluses pretty good. She was nice. The owner or manager or whoever had a shitty look on her face, and the young girl working the counter was the same way. The only reason I'll go back here is for the eyebrows and possibly give the pedicure a second chance. No way will I ever get my fingernails done again.
