I really love this place! I don't want this to be the reason I don't go back but make sure you don't get my nail tech. It took me 6 days of periodic calling to finally get a hold of someone. All I wanted was the name of my tech so I did not get her again. When I questioned how she cut my nails the day of... she gave me some info on how this will actually make my nails healthier. However, right from the beginning most of my toes were painful. Kind of a dull ache. Walking became more difficult within the week. I made a doctors appointment because I wanted to make sure I could still go in the beach. He said they are not infected but couldn't give me a reason they would ever be cut so short and dig in to the sides. He had no idea about them growing back healthier and would never recommend cutting with such a curve and so deep on the sides. I finally called and got ahold of someone and the manager apologized. I was so persistent because I wanted to get the name of my nail tech .... So I could avoid my nail tech next time I go in. They really are a fantastic nail salon. Zero stars. It is extremely rare that I post a less than stellar review on Yelp, but I just had the worst, most painful and messiest manicure of my life. And paid top dollar for it. I went to Blanca La Bella in Roseville today because I'd had to cancel with my usual nail lady in Lincoln I've been going to for a year (I was sick). I used to go to Blanca LaBella for years, so I called and asked if they had openings today, and they said yes - is there a specific person you'd like to request? I said no - I just need someone who is gentle. (Yes, I know my hands are a little sensitive, but I'm not a total woos.) So the lady (Loan Vu, according to her Venmo) takes me back and literally tries to use an acrylic nail tip to try to pry off my old gel/dip nails, to which I said Owww! So then she dremeled them a bit first THEN went back to using an acrylic nail tip to finish prying. I again said a more quiet ow, and she told me to just not look. (Wait. What???) Once I survived that, she asked if I wanted my nails shorter, and I said yes - like my right thumbnail, please, and pointed to it because it was a fair amount shorter due to a prior break. I then continue my not looking while she cut all of my nails OFF. Like to zero length. I saw it after she had done two or three, but it was a bit late by that time and I was just shocked. I asked her what she was doing, and she said Oh, you want acrylics, so I'll put the tips on. (Is that a standard practice???) I've literally never had someone cut all my nails off to then glue longer tips on. After she glued tips on (with loads of glue under my nails), she proceeded to dremel and file the ever-loving crap out of my nails, frequently hitting my skin and I'd flinch and say ow! But she literally did 4-5 rounds of this on each hand for like 45 minutes. Not kidding. I was sitting there in pain, looking away, biting my lip and trying not to panic. I told her several times that it hurt, and I just didn't know what else to do. I should've stopped, but I was just stunned. I thought maybe I just hadn't communicated, but should I have to say "ow!" more than 6 times and jerk my hands away just as many times? How else do I communicate that??? What happened to "gentle"? I'd rather get a root canal. Finally, she took 5 whole minutes to gel paint them, and they're not super bad from a distance, but I can see they're a mess and a 6th grader would've easily done better. I also have glue and all kinds of gunk under my nails as well as polish on my skin. It's gonna take a while to clean this up, and even longer for my nails to grow back. Not to mention there was zero work done to cuticles or skin at all. Not even the standard 5 seconds of slapping some oil on at the end. I paid $65 for this. And shockingly, a tip on top of that because I'm not a monster. I was genuinely in pain and a little traumatized. And the more I think about it, the more mad I get. And yes, I did consider going back in there tomorrow to talk to a manager and even ask for my money back. However, based on some other reviews and the management's response to them, it's apparent I would've gotten a lot of excuses and explaining, and no action. (Tip for management: Make it right for an upset customer in the future rather than making excuses. It looks bad for you.) So, I'm letting that money go so that the public can read my honest review instead. And go ahead and look me up. I am sooooo not a complainer. But this deserves a complaint, even if it costs me $65. And I don't care how nicely decorated it is or that they have free drinks - I will NEVER set foot in there ever again. read more

Remember to grab some cash before you go. They don't offer the option to tip from your card. Tip must be in cash...which is little inconvenient at times. Anyway, I love it here! I'm a long time customer of this salon and over the years have watched the customer service go way down. Today was the final straw. I had a appointment for a pedicure. I set down to wait and be called back. The receptionist walked back and forth in front of me and finally said " oh, I forgot. You can come back now. I followed her and she pointed to a chair and said your here. Then walked off. I'm 73 years old and that step is high without help. I got up the step and had to push the chair back to sit down. I waited for her to come back and ask if i would like a beverage. Instead she set down and started conversing with a co worker. I waited and when I finally got tired of waiting, I got up to leave. She immediately hopped up and walked toward me. I walked out and left never to return again. These women spend more time conversing with each other then paying attention to the customer who I might add pay them for there service. If I could give zero stars I would. I had called in advance and made an appointment for 12pm. I showed up a few minutes early to get checked in and pick my color since I was getting a full set. I always do regular polish because I like the way it looks better. I had picked a kind of grey color, which is what I would usually get anywhere else. So I picked out my color and took a seat at the front as directed and waited for them to be ready for me. I waited 20 minutes and the girl who had checked me in finally came over, apologized for the wait and took me back to a station. She told me they would be ready for me shortly. 7 minutes later someone walked up to me and asked me what service I was here for and I told them I was here for a full set. She has me move seats to a station that was still dirty, did not introduce herself , didn't offer me a drink, and proceeded to just switch towels on the station , didn't wipe it down or anything. She then asked me what gel color I was getting even though she had picked up the regular polish color that I had picked out, proceeded to ask me several times of that was really the color I wanted and that it was a yucky color, also told me regular polish was going to take too long and that I needed to pick out a different color in gel. I understood that she was running behind and was embarrassed that I had apparently picked a yucky color, so I ended up with a light pink color instead. I like my nails a bit longer , but when I asked her to go a bit shorter she looked me in the eyes, cut like a hair amount off one of nails nails and proceeded to keep them all longer. I let her finish the service, my opinions were clearly not being taken into account and she kept laughing after I said anything and in general was fairly rude to me anytime I spoke, didn't seem to really want to talk, which is fine. In the end, the only thing I like about my nails was the color. My cuticles are destroyed , they did a terrible job shaping my nails, I have like some curved tear drop looking nails, it felt rushed and I have a few air bubbles in my nails as well as a decent bit of polish and acrylic fused to my skin. I will not be going back to this place and I advise you do the same. I got stiletto shape nails for reference. My cuticle area quite literally burns when I try and wash my hands and my skin is likely too rough for any one to fix these right now. Also, when I came in I was told it would be $45 for regular polish, I was told I had to gel and it was $65 instead. That's an extra $20 I was not planning on. Most places only charge $5-$10 extra for gel. Update: it's been 4 days, my cuticles are still chewed up, I've noticed I have several little threads/fibers in my nails that she just painted over, also the tip of one of the nails cracked as she was doing them and she just continued as if everything was fine so I have a weird line/bend in my nail. read more

Update: it took me a while to build the courage to update my review with how the owner and salon made me feel after this experience. But I'm downgrading to 1 star for unprofessional response from the owner and how the salon reacted to me AFTER this review. The owner gave nothing but excuses for her employees behavior while simultaneously shaming me. You CAN tell when someone is smirking or smiling with a mask by looking at their eyes and eyebrows. Despite this response I gave Blanca LaBella one more chance. Well my review spread like wildfire through the technicians and instead of trying to make the situation right or at least APOLOGIZING, they glared at me, only spoke complex Vietnamese (I was still learning but I figured they were speaking slang and I can hear them chuckling when I was stumbling on words. I eventually realized they were mocking me. It got worse when they gave me the same technician who called me a cow, and it was no mistake either because the technicians knew who I was that I was one who left the review. I was uncomfortable the whole time. The technician still did a good job but you can tell she didn't want to be there or she was there for mocking reasons like "look at me. I'm doing your toes again after I called you a cow". This establishment is riding on their popularity and thinks that they can't lose clientele, but I've watched salons that were way more successful go under because of a series of bad experiences and bad treatment of their clients. Blanca Labella thinks they're untouchable, but they are not if they continue to treat the clientele like how they did me and I've seen other reviews, and other people have been mistreated as well. She was careful, let me check the length of the nails when she was filing them and did a very nice paint job. My sister, my daughter, and I have been going here for a couple of years now and we prefer it over the many salons we have tried. I will say, it is definitely more pricey when compared to the other salons, however, you pay for what you get. I don't think I have ever had an issue with any of the nail techs and we see a different one every single time. My daughter loves getting gel nails and they always go above and beyond doing whatever design she wants. It's not the type of salon you can just walk into and get right in all the time. That being said, it's definitely best to call AT LEAST a few days in advance to get the time slot you want. They always offer drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) when we sit down and make sure we are comfortable. There is always plenty of parking as well as restaurants in the area as well. Aside from the few negatives below, we love coming here and always LOVE our nails after they are done and there are some very talented nail techs that work here! A few negatives (minus one star): -The front desk employees never look happy to work there and whenever we walk in we either don't get greeted or we have to start the conversation first. The girls just never look happy, but if they did, it would make a HUGE difference to the positive environment. :( -As one of the reviews said below, they do talk badly about their customers. I only speak English so I can not attest to what they are saying, however, when we came in the other day, we sat down to get a pedicure and I let my nail tech know that my toe nails are very short and I have a missing one (from being stepped on at soccer) and I just wanted to do clear polish and not to worry about doing anything with the missing toe nail. She literally grabbed my foot and raised it up, pointing at my toes, while talking to the other nail tech and laughing. I am the type of person that I shrug it off, but it wouldn't feel good to anyone being laughed at or talked badly about. :( Some people are already extremely self conscious about their nails/toe nails, so it would be nice if they at least tried to hide the fact that they talk badly about customers. Sadly, I was disappointed in the service for two reasons. 1). The foot and leg massage was mediocre at best. The technician did not massage the bottom of my feet and when I asked her to do do she said "you want the bottom done?" as though she was surprised. She made two swipes across the bottom of my feet and that was it. 2). The nail polish never dried completely. After about 4 hours I put socks on and got imprints on top of my toenails. This happens if they have thinned out the polish with acetone. Won't go back. read more

The technician worked wonders on my overgrown brows and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. I think the service cost about 20.
