Despite some of the reviews, I recently made an appointment for a fill at Nails 2000 ad they are open later in the evenings. The gentleman, Michael, who did my nails did a great job. The space was clean and he really paid attention to detail. I will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend this salon to others. I attached photos of the finished product. Went to get a Pedicure on 5/28/26, a young girl named Anna did my feet. She literally was sawing my big nail!! Mind you I do not have "bad" feet AT ALL. I had to tell her she was way too heavy with the emery board! Left my right big toe in pain! Not only that I had to instruct her on how to cut my nails!! I don't like long toenails, so I kept asking her to cut them down, but she acted like she couldn't understand me. She kept asking me was I okay. HECK NO! She needs more training or something, but she will NEVER work on my feet again! And I still paid $55 for it! read more

Worst experience EVER! Went there today to get my nails and toes done. A lady told me it would be 70 for the price of nails and feet. I ended up having an errand to run so i could only get my nails done. I proceeded to then pay when she was finished which is where she told me the price was $70 for just the nails. First off this sh!t dont give 70 work and IVE SEEN WORK, the lady kept messing up and going over my nail with the paint and gel polish. Secondly why charge me $70 for some small ass french tip ? I literally got no length at all. They are all very unprofessional and dont deserve aa damn DIME. NEVER COME HERE... the lady that did my nails was very rude and nasty to me. I showed her a picture of the nails I wanted and then she said okay and proceeded to start on my nails. About 10-15 minutes in she later informs me that the price was 75 dollars. Which is fine, however for the nails that I wanted I believe that 75 dollars was entirely too high. I was hesitant to say anything but I eventually did. I simply asked her if I could see the price book to actually see why the price was that high. She continued to do my nails and told me to wait. After a few minutes went by she verbally tells me why it's 75 dollars (without showing me the price book). I then told her not to do the nails I originally wanted and just to paint them white. I had to give 1 star to post review. I've been to Nails 2000 twice now. Once to get a pedicure before going on a vacation. Well, by the time I came back from my vacation(three days)my nail polish had already starting chipping. Okay, I didn't count this place out totally for that. So, I went again last Friday to get my eyebrows waxed. When the young lady finished it looked like I didn't even get them done. I expressed to her that I didn't like them. She then says, "no, they good," I was on my lunch hour and at this point only had 5 minutes to get back to work. Have been in to see Teresa twice, first for a full set of gel nails then for a fill and color change 2 weeks later. Wonderful experiences both times. I always go about midday on Tuesday and have never had to wait. Mrs. Teresa does a beautiful job and makes sure she is giving me the service I want. Prices seem pretty standard to what I've experienced elsewhere. It also should be noted that I am a dog groomer so I am always working with my hands, in and out of water all day, and the nails and polish have held strong. Would definitely recommend! read more

The woman at booth 1 her name is Teresa. She did my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she is like ok, first she used the wrong tips I asked for square and not coffin. When I corrected her she says ''No No there square''. Second I asked for the letter ''J'' on my nails and that what i got but the first time she put the letter on my hand it was not straight at all. I told her and she say no it's straight. I asked her if she can take it off and fix it. At that point it seemed like she had an attitude when I asked her nicely to do that. Third my sister was getting her toes done, I was sitting next to her and I look down to see a big roach. I went in this morning because I was in town, I have moved to Northern Virginia and it has been really hard to find a nail salon that I like. I thought I found one, but all of the techs have different prices for fill and polish. So I took advantage of stopping by to have a color change and it is still as wonderful as it was 9 months ago. I've gone here several times and most of the time my nails last and are good I'd say 9/10 times. Yesterday I was in a rush because I had an appointment to go to but I really wanted to get my usual pedicure. I had about 20 minutes Mai did my nails she's there Friday's and Saturday's but this was my first time having her. And let me tell you baby girl was great! She was fast and extremely neat! I got white gel on my toes and last time the lady that did it didn't do so well. This time Mai only needed to do 2 coats because of how well she painted and how evenly. My first and only time here. I chose it for convenience. On a Saturday morning it was packed with about 20 guests seated very close together. It was noisy. The old massage chairs were bad. I had to mess with the controls almost the entire time. It was a premium price for a pedi and the setting was not worth it. My pedi was fine but the artist did not understand or communicate well. I know this is common. They only accept cash and the owner was very pushy with me using their atm machine and even grabbed my card from me. I thought it was rude and left unhappy. read more

I had the worst experience at this nail salon. I was given an inexperienced nail tech it took him almost three hours to do a fill that was not to my liking and we never did get to the design that he stated he could do. I came back the next day and asked the owner if she could fix my nails and do the design. She with great confusion and frustration with her tone and facial expressions began to rant with words from my conversation with the previous nail tech and said she could not assist me. My point I was discussed in their language prior to being addressed. I then demanded that she just soak the nails off, mind you I just received this set from another establishment only to have to soak them off because I was not assisted properly. My usual tech did not have available appointments and I had a graduation to attend. This was not my first time having an issue in this nail salon however I was with a friend. I felt like out of convenience let me try. I will never return! They are extremely nasty and not suitable for assisting the public. To act as if you don't understand English after I hear you hold various conversations with clients is simply insulting and disrespectful, Teresa. I believe that is your name. I made an appt on Tuesday for Thursday at 10 for a full dry pink and white and a pedicure. I was on time for my appt. Checked in and was again asked what I wanted by the owners husband. Told him what I wanted, filled out the screening sheet, and had my temperature taken. Washed my hands then sat in his chair. He said, you want ombré pink and white. I told him no, and repeated what I wanted. He obviously was trying to talk me into what he wanted to do. After repeating myself several times, he said ok. Then started speaking in his native language. His wife (the owner) walked over and said something. He prepped my nails, put on the tips, and started putting on the white. He said it's $50. I said ok. He made the white to thin and when I asked for him to apply more, he again started speaking in his native language. He had no idea what he was doing. When he finished my hand it looked like trash. And asked, is that good? The wife came over and asked me to sit in her chair. She soaked off everything he had done including the tips on the hand that had not been touched. Sent me to wash my hands and when I came back, she asked if I could come back later. I asked if I could still get my pedicure? She said, oh that's by appt. I reminded them I had an appt for both and then felt my irritation rise. I walked out. Never again will I even think about using this establishment. Had tips on than taken off waiting on someone else to put them on. Sat for an hour and walked out without even a tip on. Rude, rude.
