Like so many ppl, I'd been afraid to get a mani pedi in the midst of a pandemic. I saw that this salon reopened a few weeks ago. Today's visit (after my 7 month hiatus) truly exceeded my expectations. Like wow! Gina has taken every precaution to provide her clientele with an extremely safe environment. My temperature was taken upon entry. The salon was INCREDIBLY clean. The staff was wearing masks at all times. Customers were spaced for social distancing. They sanitize the chair and nail counter after every customer. Hand sanitizers were every where too. There was plexiglass to separate the staff and the customer for mani and/or pedi. My gal is Kim, always. She is as meticulous as she is a perfectionist. She does amazing work, and is so sweet and kind. Really, everyone here does excellent work. They are also very courteous and respectful. I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment. Due to social distancing, they can only accommodate a limited number of customers at one time. I love this nail salon! Gina is my girl for dip powder manis. She's a total perfectionist and literally the sweetest lady. I come in every 3 weeks and she always takes her time and puts up with all my crazy ideas of what i want to do that week. I was at the nail 4 u & spa today February-16th-2022 @11:30am to get my gel nails done. The nail technician who did my nail name tiffanie, she didn't cut the nail cuticles even I told her twice so i asked to see the owner if she can fix my nails. The salon owner refused to fix my nails but call another nail tech name Annie to finish up my nail, during the times she does my nail the technician tiffanie told her owner my nail was too short, too dry with a lot of dead cuticles. Do you understand what does manicure mean? " Mean cut the dead cuticles, file & polish the nails. Both the owner & tiffanie said if they cut the cuticles customer WON'T come back often they don't make money. The equipments was NOT sterilized, work Station was dirty. After her client left the nail tech Tiffanie told her owner that her client said why eyebrows $10 she paid $6.00. They even talking about the client stheir previous middle Easter clients were cheap. The whole nails salon technicians spoke VIETNAMESE only. I'm bilingual I understand what they're saying. They have an attitude with customers because they said in Vietnamese. I'm so disappointed and extremely furious with this nail shop. I was looking for a new nail salon and came across all the positive reviews. I am somewhat picky with my nail shape and pedicures, but for some reason when I complain they make it seem like it's MY fault and THEY feel insulted that someone had the audacity to criticize their work! No way! Like oh no! Well... my thumb is still bruised and cut. (See pics) I was the dumb one to believe the reviews. I failed to notice the bad reviews on here. The only thing that looks nice is the color on my nails honestly. I came home and noticed the horrible pedicure! I was so upset about my finger getting cut! The lady told me she wasn't looking. Umm.......... you have a SHARP object in your hand and you made me scream! Wth. The lady who did my pedicure did it sooooo fast and I paid EXTRA to do exfoliation and hot stones. I was so angry. She asked me to take my feet out of the water and I said why? I want to keep it in there if you're not done with the cuticles. She said oh okay. Umm....... ugh! My cuticles are all still there and the nail polish application was horrible. Needed a good pedicure, and it was horrible one. These nails salons honestly could careless to take their time. You have to pay top dollars for an amazing pedi which is sad. Nails were crooked and I kept telling them to fix it and I left with different shapes. Horrible. I've been here three times and every time I've had a bad experience. The only reason I gave it 2 more chances was because it's right next to my house and it's new so I figured it's cleaner than most places. Every single pedicure I've had here was ruined right after because of the heavy coats of thick nail polish the lady put on. And maybe it's the lady that's the problem, I didn't catch her name, but she did all 3 pedicures and they were horrible. Not to mention after I my experience yesterday the nail technician Tracy said "I don't like this nail color. It's not pretty, it's not my favorite. I don't like it at all." She said this literally RIGHT AFTER she just finished putting on the gel polish for my acrylics. WHO SAYS THAT?! Now she had me thinking I had an ugly gel nail color on and it was too late to change the polish!! Ridiculous. I will NOT give this place a 4th chance and I will not return. I waited a longgg time to write my final review. I never stay loyal to a nail shop after they've messed up too many times. Today I walked out of the shop with my hands shaking because I was so irritated. Let me highlight the good first to get it out of the way: -Decent parking and hours -Loyalty card with stamps -Decent mani/pedi packages -Lots of color choices So here's what's up at Nails 4 U (I think I went here for about a year?) I even referred my friend and her mom here. My friend is about done with this shop too. Wait Time: If you walk in, they may or may not quote you a wait time. If they do quote you a time, it likely could be wrong. I've waited 30 minutes when they said 15. I've waited even when we called ahead. Be careful of this if you're on a schedule. Today they told a girl wait 20 minutes and it was probably closer to 40. They told another girl "soon," and "wait just a little bit." I will tell you she waited much longer than that. Pedicures: No one can do one correctly from what I've seen. I have had 3-4 different girls and all of them are off in one way or another. Some are unfriendly. One is very slow and takes forever. It's nice they time the massage, but when your tech gets up to grab things it kind of defeats paying for a full 15 minutes. I also had one shape my pinky toe so pointy that I ended up accidentally cutting myself with it! I have a light scar now even. They don't always last as long depending on who does your toes. They'll cut your big toes very short if you're not careful. I've ended up with some painful ingrown toenail action. Do not recommend a pedicure here. Nails: I do not recommend going here if you are picky!! I am considered extremely picky to some, but if I'm paying these rates I want to be happy when I walk out. Over the months/year(s), I went here I was only truly happy with my manicures a handful of times. DO NOT get regular polish only even if you get the royal pedicure package. Regular polish did not even last a day. Gel will last you 1-2 weeks depending on who does it. You may or may not like the shaping they do. It looks like the overall theme here is there's ZERO consistency. I never got to know anyone enough to special request and I'm more of a walk-in type anyway, so maybe read the other reviews to see who actually does a decent job. Today I type with cuticles hurting and nails sore. My nails were filed and filed maybe 6 times. Buffed 4 or more times. It feels like I got acrylics. I went to get dip for the very first time and it was the nail in my 4 u coffin. I wanted ombre on 2 nails (ring fingers) and the man that did my nails painted them completely different when comparing the two hands. I told him I'd never gotten dip before because I was asking about my pointy thumb nail and he had told me to just wait. So I didn't bring up my weirdly chunky ombre nail until he was about to do the top coat apparently. Why wouldn't he ask me if I was happy with the nails before finalizing them? He made more work for himself and took up more of an already long lunch break for me. One of the girls next to him ended up coming and doing ombre on my nail. Well she did it ENTIRELY different from what he did so yet again I had two mismatched nails. I asked her if she could put more blue to try and match what was on my right hand. She looked quite perplexed. I ended up saying if it were easier, just go ahead and do all the nails full white. She did give up and so did he without saying anything I guess. Next thing I know he's sanding off the polish and clips my finger so that I loudly shout OW. He doesn't say much. He rushes through trying to dip these two fingers and when he's done, I keep looking at them because they're so blobby. I try to explain to him how much thicker the polish is on those two fingers but he says he doesn't see it. Uh... Ok. I told him it didn't matter since I needed to get going anyway, but shouldn't you care that I'm content with the overall result? Whatever. He tells me $35. I ask why and point out it's $30 for dip on happy hour. He speaks in his language to some of the girls and says ok $30. I was dumb and should've use the $10 off coupon I had earned from all the times I went here, but I paid exactly $30 and left. I'll be off to terrorize a new nail shop with my high expectations now. read more

Horrible experience. My daughters and I got manicures. Not one of them is what we asked for. One was so poorly done that I have to take her somewhere else to fix. Both of my daughters got cut. One manicurist brought out her tip money for a moment and then proceeded to put lotion on my daughters hands without washing her hands first. We were there for 3 hours. They tried to blame it on me because I didn't tell them one was getting acrylics when I made appointment. I discussed the different options to longer nails during our appointment and they didn't mention that choosing acrylics would be an extra hour and a 1/2. They said someone was available in 10 minutes. I just wanted a fun experience with me and my daughters. We are now just exhausted and frustrated. 2 stars only because Pedicures were fine. I tried talking to them and it felt like they were blaming me rather then taking responsibility. They offered a tiny discount for cutting my girls. Will never be back. I wanted to wait a full week before I wrote my honest review rather than posting a review right out of the door. The salon is nice, big and very clean. The nail polish selection, which includes OPI gel colors (which is awesome considering most places in the area do not), has a wide variety. The service and ladies were very personable and nice. However the only issue I had with my nail technician was that she was eating for a couple minutes while she was doing my nails. Fast forward to today. The nail technician Tracy offered to do a free design on my nails with miniature diamonds. However that same evening one of the diamonds had fallen off. By the end on the week all 8 diamonds had fallen off the design, which didn't even match in the first place. Lastly the pinky nail broke off when I was picking up my purse with no forceful movements. I had called before I decided to try this place out and asked how much a full set of coffin stole gel acrylic nails would be, to which I was informed was $27 with their 20% off promotion. Yet when I paid the owner told me it was $33 with 20%, leaving me to pay $30 plus tip. I thought this was a bit much considering all the other salons in the area do not charge more than $30 for the nails I always get. I did not say anything because I had already been in there for almost 2 hours as well and wanted to leave. Overall, I probably will not be coming back. The two stars were for their nail polish selection and cleanliness. In all honestly this place overcharges and did not stick to the price I was given and after only a week the design fell off and one nail broke, leaving me to get my nails redone at another salon in the area. Tried this place out because they're open 30 mnts more than the neighboring salons (open till 7:30pm). The first time was for a friend who simply wanted to get his nail cleaned, they did such an amazing job & was so courteous to us even if we came 10 mnts before closing. The second time, I came in for a fill & I left wayyy more satisfied than when I got my full set at my usual place. I've been coming here ever since! For me, the best thing about this place is the fact that Gina (owner) takes her time and gives you her honest opinion. On top of that, she takes the time to actually educate me about my nail - why my gel peels faster, whether or not my nails are strong enough to grow, etc. A technician who actually cares about my nails & how they turn out! They have a variety of all the on-trend designs & they carry Presto gel! Which is SOOO worth the extra $2. This is the only salon in the area that feels so clean and is not too muggy as they have a huge space. Stopped in for a manicure today. I don't have a go to spot because I don't get my nails done often but I typically get gel when I do. I decided to get acrylic nails today and regret my decision. The first go the technician didn't shape the tips very much at all. I asked to have them a little more rounded so he filed a little more but they're still super square. With the color I chose they kind of look like Chiclets. The nail of my right middle finger is also crooked and the application of the acrylic was not smooth- you can see a weird texture under the polish. Not the worst in the world but really upset with how they turned out in the end. read more

Sadly I had a pretty awful experience. They charge extra for the shape you want (which I have never heard of in years of getting my nails done) and with the shape I got, it was pretty crappy. They made me take off all my current acrylics (half were broken so to me it was understandable) and replaced them with new ones but it hurt LIKE A BITCH. I almost thought the guy was going to rip off my actual nails and I even told him it hurt but he still continued. Other people have a good experience here but I feel it might be because only a couple certain people are actually good so I guess it just depends who's doing your nails. read more

So we had been looking around for a shop for pedis for about an hour on a Wednesday afternoon and everything was pretty much full. It was 3 of us so kinda hard to accommodate. Anyways, I called this shop and said they had time in 30 minutes. So there we are, this shop doesn't charge you extra for the spa seats. Regular pedicure is about $18. I got the royal pedicure (it came with a free manicure) it was awesome! I got Nancy and she did a great job on my feet. But you can tell Tiffany is the life of the shop super friendly and engaging. My experience was pretty good compared to other shops. I'm a licensed manicurist in the state of California and have been since 2007 if I remember correctly. Anyways, the guy that did my manicure didn't use acetone to take the little nail polish off left from my last one he just scrapped it off with a rough file. I know for a fact that's not what we teach in California. Also, he didn't just file one way. He just went everywhere which causes your nails to curve etc. I wasn't happy about that. I know it was late and close to closing time but I would of rather came back another day to get it done right. On my manicure you can see the paint a little uneven and rushed. one of the people that was with me and got a pedicure and during the scrubbing his feet bleed of how hard the pumice was been used. I have been coming to this nail salon since their first day of opening, which has been a little more than a year. When I came in, I had originally came in to get my nails done in a hurry because my boyfriend at the time had purposed and I wanted my nails to look nice along with my ring. (We had an event later that evening) I previously has been going to JJ Nails, and was starting to get annoyed on the fact that I always felt they rushed because they had so many customers waiting. There were times where my nails didnt always came out like I wanted them too. But I kept attending because it was the only good nail salon with lots of nail polish colors. (Even gel) So, after my rush in experience I kept coming back here because I actually liked how my nails came out. With time, I found my nail designer who is Stacy. She is amazing! She does not rush in her work and my nails can last up to 3 to 4 weeks if I am late in getting a refill. My acrylic nails come out looking natural and I love that. Along with that, they provide great service, they are super clean,give the best foot massages in their pedicures and have a variety of colors, Including gel.
