If I could leave 0 stars I would. This was my second time here and the guy today Jason was not only late but rude and cold, didn't even apologize for his tardiness . A friend had recommended me to this establishment and nail tech but my experience was not warming at all. When I told her about my experience she said yeah he can be an SSAhole , well if I known that I wouldn't have booked with him, and being my first time with him, he should've been welcoming. When I went over to get my pedicure from Jason something told me to turn on my Google Translate to Vietnamese to English and he was talking crap in his language. Stop patronizing these people, they are racist and don't deserve our money. Also this guy had the nerve to have this sign at his station which was completely inappropriate. I came in on Wednesday to get a full set, coffin shape matte nails. After having a horrible experience at a different salon I was worried to try another place, but wow! This place was amazing. It was clean, Tina was super welcoming. My nail tech was Trish and she did an amazing job shaping and painting my nails. She took her time was understanding when I asked her to shorten my nails a bit more. Overall great experience and I will be back for sure Update: here are the nails Tina has done! She's great! Nope I won't be coming back here. This was my first time coming. I told the guy who I think is the owner that I wanted a pedi that came with a good massage. He told me to get the the spa pedi which is $55! I was going to get a more basic one that was $35 but then extra 10 mins massage would've been $15. So I figured ok I'll get the $55 one and at least I'd get the extra services. I'm not kidding when I say I got no massage. Maybe if you count her rubbing the lotion which was one minute on each leg! When I confronted him he said oh that's what comes with it and if you want more massage you pay more. Say what??? Ummm no I told you from the beginning what I was looking for!!! He said oh I saw her hitting your leg, and I said that's not a massage and it hurt!!! Nope sorry I'm done here. Now on to find another place. Spend $55 for a pedi and NO MASSAGE??? read more

The new owners have done a great job with updating the salon. The bathroom needs work. I have been coming here for over 8 years. Since the old owner Lynn moved to Florida over a year ago the quantity of service is very low at Allure Nails. There is only one manicurist who does a good job Tina. She is great but very slow... I make with appointments with her but she doesn't put enough time in the books for her next appointment! She is slow with fill-ins then she rushes to polish and design your nails leaving polish all around your fingers. I not happy with being rushed out when the manicurist realizes her next customer is waiting. These people need to manage their appointments more closely! I would have given this business 3 stars if there were more than one manicurist to provide quality services. read more

After spending 3 hours in the nail salon to get a gel mani and pedi (the gel mani took extremely long and they didn't have what I originally wanted) my nails chipped off within 2 days. I was in town visiting from California for the weekend and called them within the week to let them know that my nails had been peeling off, breaking and that my pedicure looked like someone had scraped my polish off. This has never happened to me before. I called and asked for a credit back so that my mother could use it because I was out of town and that I could send them all of the pictures showing what my nails looked like since I could not physically come back in. I had to call multiple times to speak with the owner and then he called me back. He was rude with a very disrespectful tone that I had to let him know that I didn't call to argue and was not going to tolerate that. He then apologized and stated that he would give me a credit for my mani/pedi and to have my mother come into the salon, ask for him and he'll take care of her. Well my mother went into the salon, they charged her an additional $20 over the $65 credit he told me that I had. The owner also lied and stated that he never spoke to me about this credit. LIES LIES LIES and more LIES. As a black woman, I am so bored with supporting establishments that do not respect our dollars. I will not be supporting them and the women in my family who bought me to this establishment will not be either. Your dollar matters and you should spend it in establishments that respect it and their work. read more

I went in last night and got over charged for a fill and I got charged $70 when they usually charge $$40 and I am very disappointed with what I got because when I went to get my nails done I clearly told her I wanted a fill and that I wanted thin nails but instead I needed up getting thick and messy nails and detain parts of my nails don't even have any color whereas the lady next to me got charged way less and got a lot more designs and I don't get it. But overall I am very disappointed with my nails and never going there again. read more

The only problem that I have with this place is the woman who sits to the far left of Tina and Trish..... I do not know her name but she sends me horrible looks and nasty comments in her language every time I am there... I have never dealt with her personally, but for some reason she sends me evil looks enough to make me want to leave and never come back! Nail salons are a dime a dozen and she should be fired immediately! I also know other people who have experienced her nasty attitude and they now go to either Modern nails or Matrix in South Plainfield.... Horrendous! There is a awful women who sits in the far corner of the other 2 nail technicians who is evil. I have been going there for over 12 years. When the new owners took over they made it look very nice but the sweetness and the honesty of the former owners is completely gone. I would not recommend this place at all. Horrible service. My mom and I went on two separate occasions and we both had similar experiences. They don't take directions well. I went in there with high hopes of having my acrylic set repaired and basically left them exactly how they were. She just filled them in filed them and painted them. She charged me for coffin shape when they already were in coffin shape and cut me with the nail filer. She didn't use the drill long enough or well enough to remove the lumps. Left a couple of nails uneven some fatter than others. & when I attempted to give her directions as to how I wanted them to look, even showed her a picture for guidance she told me that my nails don't look like the photo, she went on to talk in her native language to the other ladies and started laughing... in unison. This went on every time I asked her to correct something. This was a very uncomfortable experience. My mother also went through the same situation, she went in for a simple Mani and pedi and her nails are all unruly. They didn't file properly. The paint isn't all the way to the cuticle. It's all half ass. She was also given and attitude and the ee proceeded to toss cotton balls, utensils aggressively. Never going back! I'm giving a star because I have to. read more
