It's not a matter of touch-up, this needed cover up, colour correcting, and took two sessions to fix. The issue is that MK Brows simply don't know what they are doing. On their dominant hand they pressed too hard which resulted in one very dark brow (& healing was much more painful). On the other side they were reaching across and did the tattoo too light and much of it didn't take, hence I have one light brow and one dark. Reputable tattoo artists know this and accommodate for it. As I left the salon, my brows looked so uneven I had to ask for correction, which was done by tattooing a skin-colour pigment over her previous work. It looks like a scar under my brow and only tattoo removal could properly correct it.

I will have a scheduled appointment and arrive and the door is locked, nobody is there. I will call several time. She will not answer but finally text and ask me to drive all the way to her house. That has happened so many times. Other times she would say can I come back another day, this happened several times. Then she start say she was in a car accident; this happed about 5 or 6 times; I am surprise she can still walk. When I do get an appointment in with her, I do not see any signs of her being in an accident. She will go so far as to send me photos of some random car accident. Just not reliable or committed to her customers or her business. She is extremely sweet and nice. She does very very very good work if you can get her to actually do your lashes. After this last disappointment when I depended on her to do my lashes again for a very special event only for her to tell me via text to come the next day, I had to find another place for an emergency appointment. Prior to this appointment, I had been texting her a week in advance as a reminder, I texted almost everyday and she did not even have the courtesy to call or text me back. She decided to text me 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to say come the next day. This was my very last straw. Stick a fork in me because I am done. I tried to work with her but enough is enough. Let's pray for her that she becomes committed to her customers and business.

Came in for a refill 2 weeks later with L eye barely having anything left. And mind you, I know how to keep lash extensions and this is definitely not my first rodeo. My refill didn't even last a whole week and I literally cannot justify spending money here for terrible quality lash glue that they're using!!! Lastly, I mentioned to Vicky the owner how she did both my friend and sister wrong and explained that I had recommended her bc I thought her work was great! I told her it's not cool that my sister booked with her and she had a different lash artist work on my sister for the first time visit. My sister called and told me she didn't like her lashes and it was two completely diff style. Later, my friend booked but wasn't informed that Monday they're closed. She waited outside and mind you, she got a confirmation text for her appointment. Well, it never happened. She also did not have a response after reaching out to her regarding the two incidents. She just literally left me on "read". Very profession! Sike! Vicky clearly doesn't know how to run a business nor care about losing clients. I've been coming to her for over a year and definitely felt like I was going to stick around. Overtime now, I just feel like she can care less about quality, and at this point she can get more appointments in by controlling everyone else's time, and using cheap lash glue. At the time my hair was down to my tailbone, and very thick. I had about 3 inches or more of growth and was looking for it to match the rest of my hair which had been highlighted. I asked for subtle highlights. When I arrived, I found it a bit odd and off-putting that I was the only person besides the owner in the entire place. But I had a great deal through the Yelp voucher and the reviews were all amazing, so I ignored that little voice. That little voice popped up throughout my experience. It told me to leave. I was there for hours. Lisa did eventually admit the person who does color was out that day, and I feel like that's the moment I should have left, but I stayed. By the time I got up the courage to leave, my little trim was more like a 4 inch cut that had chunks of hair missing and the color made me look like a toddler tried it at home. I ended up having to go to a different salon and they had no choice but to take my once beautiful tailbone length hair up to just past my shoulders. I cried in her chair. My hair looked so incredibly bad. When I went home I immediately emailed Yelp and showed them my pictures. I didn't pay her. I came around 2-3 to get an oil treatment because my usual place wasn't open. I called before hand to make sure they do oil treatments because not all hair places do this. First thought was that it's very hidden, if you miss the entry into the shopping center you have to UTURN out and back in. Once I walked inside it was nice and I was the only person there, so no wait time needed. She started washing my hair and working on it. Same process I'm used to. The oil she used has a very strong smell that I'm not used to. (Starts with an "m") the smell was so over powering it gave me a headache for a week. She kept bragging about how good it smelled, but to me it smelled weird. Once I finished the treatment, she washed my hair and started to brush it. I literally had to carry my own wet hair to her chair with a small towel and my hair is not short... so I got pretty wet. After that she asked if I wanted my hair blow dried. I would think that it was a given because why would I want to leave with wet hair.... Once she was finished, I went up to pay for my oil treatment and she gave me the price then told me that she wasn't going to charge me for the blow dry. I'm shook. At this point was when I got annoyed. Who charges for blow drying hair? Especially for oil treatments where I'm bound to get my hair wet. When I was about five minutes away from my appointment, I received a text asking to push my appointment back by about an hour and a half. Since Mary was no longer available, I was scheduled with Lucy instead. This was, by far, the worst and most painful lash appointment I've ever experienced. Throughout the appointment, it felt like my natural lashes were being pulled out. She also placed several extensions directly on my skin, which caused irritation, dryness, and discomfort afterward. To make matters worse, I get a hybrid set specifically because my natural lashes are very fine, and I always request a combination of fans and individual lashes. Lucy only worked on my fill for about 30 minutes, and the final result did not reflect what I requested or what I normally receive. When I politely expressed my concerns, she was dismissive and rude instead of addressing the issues. Thankfully, Mary was able to fix the lashes afterward, and I truly appreciate her for making things right. I would absolutely recommend Mary, but I cannot recommend Lucy based on my experience. She is the sole reason I'm leaving a one-star review. If I could leave zero stars for her service, I would.
