I've been getting Gel-X consistently for over 5 years and have never experienced anything like…read morethis. I went to this salon on Wednesday for a full Gel-X set. The same day, one nail completely popped off. I went back and they fixed that nail, which I already felt wasn't normal. The next day, another nail came off. I called and was told I could come in to "fix it," but at that point I was already questioning the quality of the work. Then, within the next couple of days, three more nails came off. In total, five nails detached within days of service. This is clearly not normal wear -- it's an application/prep issue. What's most disappointing is that the only solution offered was repeatedly "come back and we'll fix it," with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, no refund, and no offer to redo the full set, despite the obvious failure. Between the time wasted, the cost, and the frustration, this was a very poor experience. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this salon for Gel-X services.
