I was at that point & was concerned the pedicure might hurt more than normal. Not a chance! She was very thorough & yet no pains. And when I mean thorough, I mean it. She went back 3 times just to make sure my nail was handled properly (& I hadn't even yet mentioned the issue. I typically wait to see what they'll do before saying anything. This time I didn't have to ask for more work on it. It was perfect!!! I've been waiting to find my new nail place after relocating from another state. The staff didn't do much talking amongst each other and were instead engaged with their clients. That made for a welcoming and pleasant vibe in the shop. It's nice sized and there were many staff to attend to clients. There is plenty of parking in the lot out front. I loved the massage and care that were given to my paws by Kief.

Regular manicures chip so easily that you aren't even guaranteed that it will last a whole week. The first time that I went I got a gel manicure and it lasted for three weeks! This past visit Loan was my nail technician and she removed the old gel nail polish by putting pieces of cotton soaked in acetone on my nails and then wrapping my nails in foil. Next she put lotion on my hands and I stuck my hands in the heated manicure bags. When I took my hands out a few minutes later and she removed the foil, the polish was falling off of my nails! No need to scrape it off at all. This was the first time that I had the polish removed in this fashion and it was definitely the easiest way. Most places make you soak your nails in a bowl of acetone and scrape it off nail by nail. It's very uncomfortable! I've had three different nail technicians in this salon and they all have been gentle. I have had a couple of bad experiences at nail salons (the place across the street from Nail Perfection cut me twice in one visit) and in this place they all seem to have pride in their work and pay attention to detail. When I told Loan that I had an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses and needed to leave the salon by 12:15 in order to make it over on time she was very conscious of the time and had me out of there right at 12:15 on the dot! I can't give them 5 stars though, because they have a limited selections of gel nail polishes.

When I was visiting my daughter in Lexington, I had a window. I called and was lucky they could take me; I think this place is usually pretty busy and may be hard to get walk-in. There were three different people who did parts: 1) woman who did the dremel to remove the gel; she was very careful, 2) man who did the pedicure except for the polish, 3) younger woman who did the polish. I assume they have different strengths. The man did such a great job making my feet and legs feel amazing. I was so relaxed and normally I feel like my pedicure are mostly just functional to have my toes painted nicely. The polish was just fine. Price was reasonable. The place feels friendly. I think the owners' kids were there. None of the people who worked on my pedicure talked with me much, but that's okay.
