Now that it has changed management, my experience was horrible. the nail technician did a very poor job. one hand was ok. the second hand the nail was not shaped, polish not applied correctly, and on thumb, the top coat was applied only half way down. read more

I've come here multiple times and always been happy with my nails. I love that the technicians always ask before they do something with your nails. I also feel like they stay up to date on the nail trends. But this most recent time was nothing like before. The nail tech I talked to when I walked in just gave me attitude and didn't make me feel welcome at all I felt more like a burden to be there. I thought because I didn't have the initial lady I talked to actually doing my nails it would get better but I was wrong. The entire time I was there I had to listen to the nail tech talk about how annoying other customers were and how much they (nail techs) didn't want to be there. The environment was just so negative and made me not even want to speak to my nail tech. I initially showed my nail tech what I wanted and then she asked me questions like the shape, length, color, and kind of nail I wanted. I answered each question and I thought she understood what I wanted: almond shape, medium length, I picked out colors I liked closest to the photo, and SNS (her suggestion because it would be the closest colors to the photo). Mid way through the appointment the nail tech switched the colors without even showing me what the new color looked like. Finally, when all was said and done I literally wanted to cry because of how bad the nails I got were compared to the picture I showed. Now I get that a salon doesn't always have the same colors you see in an instagram post but these were way off and not even the colors I picked out at the beginning of the appointment. But it's not even the color I'm the most upset about it's the shape and structure of the nail. The nails are lumpy and thick and the shape on each nail looks different not to mention the French tip line is different on each nail and some even look lop sided. A nail is supposed to have an apex on the nail bed and then taper out almost to the free edge/tip but these mainly have a big lump at the cuticle and then dip down and flatten completely towards the tip of the nail. I would've been somewhat okay with just a bad color match but the bad structure and shape of the nail is not at all what I'm paying $75 dollars for!!! read more

My mom, sister, and I came in for pedicures, and I did a manicure as well. Friendly customer service. I am awful with names but the young lady that did my nail did such a great job! She listened to what I wanted and made a great recommendation for the added sparkle I wanted. This is the first time I've had my nails shaped the way I have asked for them to be shaped. He checked with me on if the shape was how I wanted it, how I wanted the glitter, and let me know I will need to soak off and redo my nails next time because of some lifting of the acrylic (from previous salons) and the concern for cleanliness this creates, which is greatly appreciated and is always my #1 concern. So the place lives up to the name! After an exhaustive search through Lexington (and Nicholasville!) filled with disappointing results, I finally discovered my nail home. I get pretty basic gel polish but I am picky on the little things. I want every last bit of cuticle clipped off, I want every nail to be the same exact shape, I want the polish to last at least 3 weeks. Mike has checked all 3 boxes time and time again. My last polish lasted 5 weeks until my nails were grown out into eagle talons and I could no longer type. He is fast but precise and super friendly without talking your ear off. They don't have the MOST color choices of all the salons I tried but the service more than makes up for it. Mike always wears his mask during my appointment and prefers customers do too as they don't have the plastic barriers up anymore. Go see him on Tuesdays, I always get right in and out on that day as it's their slowest. read more

So I'm here in Lexington, Kentucky for work and I was in desperate need of some TLC. A spa pedicure and an SNS fill-in...... so I found this place right here on yelp and the reviews seemed good plus it's close to my hotel. I was greeted as I came in and told there would be a 15min wait. I didn't have anything pressing to do so I said that was fine. I was directed to pick colors for my SNS & pedicure. There were only 2 guys working there at the time so I was sure it would take forever!! But to my surprise they moved quickly and it was less then a 10min wait. Mario did my hands and worked wonders!! My nails have honestly never looked so good and it took 15mins Max!! I've never had an SNS fill-in done so quickly and so well!!! He wasn't rushing at all. He's just very good at his job!!! And a great conversationalist!!!! Now Micheal did my spa pedicure and he was awesome too!! These 2 guys are the best!! If I could put them in my pocket and take them back home with me to Bklyn, NY I would in a heartbeat!!! So in-love with there work & them as individuals!! Sooo I just moved out to this area and this was the only nail salon over herethagood reviews so I decided to give it a try! When I first walked in they weren't super welcoming but I've been to salons where no one greets you at all so that wasn't too bad. The lady who was going to be doing my nails came out and got started on me writhing 10 minutes. I believe her name was Laura. She was great! She made sure I was comfortable, she had good conversation, everything was good! At this point they would have gotten 5 stars had my nails turned out well. Before my previous set was done soaking off, the manager ( not sure what his name was) decided he wanted to do my nails instead. He wasn't very conversational, which I could live with but it seemed as if he was rushing. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them being done fast, but he had an appointment walk in and then he started going faster. He cut me with the drill, it didn't hurt too bad but he was reluctant to even apologize until he saw me start bleeding. He also then proceeded to still dust over that part of my nail which I find extremely unsanitary since I'm sure he uses that same brush in others without cleaning it. I got SNS done and they turned out ok. They're a little lumpy and he filed my nail down quite a bit more than I wanted him too. I told him I didn't want them shorter, just shaped. But oh well. It seemed like they had quite a few regulars coming in so maybe first timers are just hit or miss. Idk. Honestly, I probably won't be back here unless I'm just in a crunch and can't get to my regular spot. Ok so update.. I'm extremely disappointed. 7/10 nails broke wishing 2 weeks and when I went to a different place to get them redone they said he forget the base coat. I definitely won't be back. read more

For me the worst thing about going to nail salons, are the awkward encounters with the workers, so it's always a blessing to go to a salon where they are so nice and talkative and make you feel comfortable.. this salon does NOT do that, only very few speak but they do not make conversations, and engage with me. If you want people to keep coming to your business make people feel like you actually want them there! I think it's so rude to have a customer right in front of you and never say more than 3 words to them! I'd recommend Micheal, Mario or Maddie.. I hope they see this and make a change! read more

Takes longer to get a fill in done. Yesterday evening it took two hours for tech to complete fill in. I have been at this nail salon five times. There are two techs I would never have do my nails. I suspect that not all techs are professionally trained and licensed. They only show two tech on license on wall. Gave them a try because of friendly environment and reasonable cost for services. read more
