So relieved to find a new nail salon close to home!!! I kept procrastinating after deciding to…read morebreak up with my previous (and sloppy, devoid of cheerfulness) nail place ... but this was a great chance to take! Lynn (manicurist) and Lydia (pedicurist) took great care of me with ZERO sloppiness and extremely cheerful and professional chairside manner. This salon is cheerfully lit and all of the employees seem to truly ENJOY each other and their clientele. Breath of fresh air! I WILL be returning and am so relieved that the search for a new nail salon is officially and happily over! Thanks to owner Kathy and her team!!!

This is the only review you need to read to tell you everything you need to know about this salon…read moreand why you should NOT go here. First, I have tried this salon twice now (so that you don't have to) and have been dissatisfied on both occasions. The second occasion has made me mad enough to write this review. Also, I get my nails done every 3 weeks routinely (always dip on my natural nail, always the same shape) and have never experienced such unprofessional conduct until I tried this salon. --Bad Quality: I asked for extremely natural color and shape. First time I went, the shape was fine but the dip did not last more than 5 days before it started "crumbling"/breaking near the tip. I work so I couldn't get back to the salon to address this and decided to give them one more chance. I gave them this second chance when I went back less than 2 weeks after the first visit. This second visit, the nail tech (Natalie) said she would do an extra layer of dip (total of 3 layers) to make sure it didn't crumble/break as fast (since dip usually lasts me 3 weeks without breaking)--she did the 3 layers and my nails were extremely thick/globby. She fixed the thickness a little bit with the drill but they were still SO much thicker than any other nail salon I've been to (all other salons have done 3 layers and still managed to make them look natural/not so thick/globby). 4 days later, I've already had one of the extremely thick ones break/crumble--I say "crumble" because it is not a clean break like you'd expect, it's literally crumbling off--this means whatever process they are using to dip is not good bc clearly the chemical agents are not activating properly. --Unprofessional Response: I called the second it broke (4 days later on Monday) and asked if they could fix it after work at 5:30 PM (their business hours are listed as being open until 7PM--they told me that I could "come now" (in the middle of my work day) to which, I told them I could not come before 5:30 any week day since I work full time. They told me that they wouldn't be open at 5:30 and that they'd close at 3 today bc they didn't have any more appointments scheduled to make them stay open until 7PM (their listed business hours). They told me that I could come at 5Pm on Thursday to get fixed. I cannot wait that long as the nail is snagging my clothes. They offered no other accommodation despite me explaining that I work M-F and they offered no explanation as to why their publicly listed business hours were not accurate. I would have never chosen this salon had I known that its listed business hours were not accurate since I work and always look for a salon with later availability in case needed. Their response was not only unprofessional, but their tone on the phone was "annoyed" that I would even ask them to fix the crappy job that they did to begin with. I will not be going back and recommend that you look elsewhere if you don't want your dip to crumble or nails to look like thick-globs.

I had been dealing with a lot of pain in both of my toenails, and by the end of the treatment, the pain was completely gone. Zu took the time to carefully address my concerns and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I left feeling relieved, happy, and so much better than when I arrived. I highly recommend Zu to anyone looking for professional, high-quality foot and nail care. I will definitely be back!

I unfortunately had to leave my previous manicurist, who I absolutely loved! I was nervous to go on…read morethe hunt for another one, I came across Zu on Yelp, she had great reviews. I headed over to Instagram to check out her work and was ready to book my June appointments. -quick back story, I have been a "picker" my whole life , my mom thought I bit my nails but I would just pick the side and rip them off (eek). As I got older I would get acrylics to prevent me from picking them. Well a couple of years ago I had the worst acrylic experience of my life and my nail beds were ruined! It took a couple of years to get them back to "normal" (still a picker!) so the beginning of this year I decided I wanted to finally try and get my natural nails to grow out - found my previous girl, who was pretty far from me but well worth it, but with her distance and multiple price increases since January, it was just not in my budget as I love to be able to give a decent tip as well. So I kindly messaged her and told her how much I would miss her and went on my search and booked with Zu as I like to have my appointments ready every 3 weeks. Well Anxiety hit a week after my last appointment and I pulled off all the gel and picked my nails short (crying face). Since I already booked with Zu for summer frenchies I went back to see if I could edit my appointment but didn't find how and she was already booked for almost the whole month of June so I just left it and waited until my appt yesterday 6/9. At my appointment I was greeted kindly and since she was running a bit behind I interrupted her appt (so sorry!) and asked if I could pay with card or tap. In case I had to run to the bank (I know I should have researched this previously) she took Venmo or Zelle which I have so I sat and waited my turn. Not long after she was done and called me in. Welcomed me, offered a snack (I am a snacker but, anxiety, and I declined). Immediately Zu was very kind started getting conversation, had me choose my colors, let me discuss my short nails situation and showed her a different inspo and she said we can do that instead if I want. She put on a show, that I need to continue watching because I can't wait 3 weeks to find out what happens! Lol Anyway Long Story Short (hehe) she nailed the inspo pic on these tiny nails and I absolutely LOVE them! I cannot wait to continue my journey with her to grow out my nails again and I look forward to staying a client a very long time ! Super Bonus, she is only like 5-8 minutes away from me with amazing prices! AND she does pedicures! I no longer have to go to 2 separate salons to get a mani and pedi!! Thank you Zu! You are amazing!

My 5 minute wait turned into a 30 minute wait as I watched 4 women come in after me and be seated before me. Do you suppose its because I wanted the Gel removed and not put back on? I walked out. There's a nail shop on every corner and Nail Therapy isn't anything special. I found a place a short distance away. I was seated within 5 minutes and treated like they valued my business. The other place did a great job and for less money. UPDATE: I was told 5 minutes that turned into 30 minutes. You said my issue of narrowing big toe nails were just my age and not a result of gel. There was never any mention of CURLING or ingrown nails. and I agreed to leave everything as is. What's unfair is you trying to paint this as something it wasn't. People don't walk out feeling unsatisfied for no reason. And as far as the money, I always paid cash and tipped 30%. I didn't loose anything over this incident, on the other hand you lost a customer. The lack of communication and service is on you sir.
