I would not recommend this salon. We made an appointment for a group of four (myself, my daughter, and my parents), but the salon failed to organize our visit effectively. Despite booking in advance, they did not reserve seats near each other; my 6-year-old daughter was left to sit alone in a separate area, and we were scattered throughout the salon. It felt like our reservation meant nothing, as they appeared to prioritize walk-ins over those who planned ahead. The service itself was disappointing. My daughter's nail technician was unfriendly and completely disengaged, which is the last thing you want when trying to provide a child with a fun experience. While my technician seemed fine at the time, the quality of the manicure was poor, and the polish began chipping within just a few days. Most concerning, however, is that three days after my pedicure, I am dealing with a painful, throbbing, and inflamed infection on my big toe. I am currently unable to wear closed-toe shoes and am having to perform multiple Epsom salt soaks to try and manage the swelling. I contacted the salon to express these concerns, and while the manager has asked me to come in so she can examine the toe, I am wary of returning to a place that caused this injury in the first place. I have been coming to this salon for over 4 years, but unfortunately over the last year the service, quality, and overall experience have gone downhill significantly. Most recently, I came in for Gel X nails ($70) and a deluxe pedicure ($50). I specifically asked for a French tip design and even showed the nail tech, Ivy, a reference photo. She kept pushing cat eye polish instead, saying it was "better." I politely repeated multiple times that I wanted French tip, but after the base coat she still applied cat eye polish anyway. I felt pressured into accepting something I never asked for, especially because I was with my little sister who was already done and waiting on me. To make matters worse, one of the nails was noticeably crooked, and the entire Gel X set started falling off within ONE week. My Gel X sets normally last close to a month. I also got my eyebrows done by Kelly ($20), and they came out uneven. I later realized I had actually been burned underneath my eyebrow area. No one mentioned it to me, and they never showed me the brows afterward, so I didn't notice until later. Sadly, this was not my first issue here. Back in October, another tech ignored the color I asked for and substituted something different because they claimed they were "out" of the original color. The manager did try to fix it at the time, which I appreciated, but after multiple experiences like this, I can no longer justify coming back. It's disappointing because I used to genuinely love this place, but clients should not feel pressured into services they didn't ask for or leave with poor quality work and skin irritation. read more

I went to Rossmoor Nails last week for a pedicure and the water stunk. I couldn't believe how bad it smelled. I could hardly make it through the treatment. Save your time and go to Colorful Nails in Long Beach instead. Ask for Miley!! I will not be returning until the owner decides to do something about the smell. read more

The most mediocre pedicure I've had in a very long time. My usual salon is in the plaza directly across, I was finishing up a few errands in the complex and decided to give this place a shot. I came in, bright and early on a Sunday and was given a chair and handed over to Amanda. My usual pedicure day includes a Deluxe choice with a Gel color. Here, the deluxe pedicure goes for $50 with an additional $20 for gel. Usually, you get a massage for atleast 10 minutes, timers are usually there for the ladies to time. Amanda, did not care for the massage, she directly asked me how I was going to pay, disappointed it wasn't cash and asked for the tip amount while lightly squeezing my ankles. Not to mention, the gel she cured had visible smudge marks on the edges, to which she used a metal scraper to scrape the residue off. Which obviously hurt, and was not efficient at getting it completely off. My nails are full of air bubbles and the streaky lines are clearly visible. PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING IN!!!!! decided to treat myself to a random pedicure, and I wish I would have read the reviews before I picked this place. They didn't provide a selection of pedicures services, they barley gave me the colors books (if I didn't ask for them). She scrubbed my legs with a wet rag, never exfoliated and forgot to moisturize after. She turned off my massage chair said it was because I picked gel nails and it throws her off.... When did the customer come last. She then walked away for 3 minutes to attend others Without notifying me. The list goes on, I would have walked away if I didn't respect the work. Pros: super cute kids pedicure chairs, overall clean establishment and nicely decorated Cons: rushed service, over charged with under delivery I paid for a basic manicure as I just wanted my cuticles done (my nails were in good condition to start) - no polish. She skipped out on the 5 minute massage that they advertised but then charges me an additional $7 for taking gel off of my toes (which took no more than one minute) $97 for a basic manicure (literal only cuticle clean up) and pedicure and kids combo plus $20 tip = $117. If you came across this nail tech, Sally, just say No or run away as fast as you can. This woman doesn't care and has no skill. She held my ankle down with brutal force. Knead my toe until I begged hee to let go. Three times I had to tell her off. She removed my gel and shaved my cuticles with her machine twice. I asked for oval shape and she rounded all my peds. I asked for gel nail, she use regular polish. She didn't buff my nail and just put a clear coat on. After I asked her to fix my nail from looking all wiggle, she just merely just put another coat on my big toes and say I fix them now. At that point, I feel so stupid to let this happened to me. I have an always liked the service here, but today was not one of those good experiences. The 2 doors were wide open and about 5 min into the service, fruit flies/gnats were everywhere. I spent way too much money for a pedicure just to have fruit flies and bugs all over me. It was NOT a relaxing pedicure. They did try to move me to a chair 10 feet from the one I was in, but the bugs can fly, so needless to say, it did not solve the problem. They need to check for stale fruit or the source of this infestation. Gross!!! As I was getting my "relaxing" massage, the technicians were cleaning up for the evening and yelling and speaking in incredibly loud voices across the entire salon. There was nothing enjoyable about today. I left with a headache and I'm hoping I don't have bug bites. My pedicurist tried to do everything she could to remedy the situation; she even apologized for the volume in the salon. I'm hoping this was just an off day. read more

I got a staph infection here. Also, poor quality of nail polish. Upon removal of nail polish from my pedicure, my nails have white dots, and my nails are chipped. I've never had to wait more than five minutes as a walk-in for mani & pedi. Becki and the rest of the team are amazing. If you're the type of person that doesn't want to chat they're fine with that and if you want to spend your time gossiping, they're very good with that as well, I like how immaculate the salon is. Becki is frequently sweeping and cleaning and straightening the equipment is sterilized. The towels are pristine, white fluffy and warm. The owners have spent additional money updating the salon over this winter including brand new lovely salon, petty chairs I can't speak high enough of the salon, there are many that are closer to my home but I enjoy coming to this nail salon the most. I just received the worst pedicure of my life from Rossmoor Nails. For starters, the pedicure took nearly 2 hours. The manicurist messed up several of my toes and had to take all of the gel polish off after it was already completely finished. After another 20 minutes, finishing the nails, they still looked terrible. When I went to pay, they charged me $32 for the basic pedicure plus $17!!!! SEVENTEEN dollars for gel. I did nothing extra. I have never been charged this much money to do gel polish. For a terrible pedicure, took 2 hours, and they overcharged for gel, I will NEVER go back. read more

Not my regular nail salon, but was in the neighborhood. Worst manicure I've ever received! Any salon who still uses a drill to remove gels is not with current practice. The drill makes nails thin and easily breakable. My regular manicurist wraps my nails well and waits patiently while she's helping another client. When she returns she scrapes the gel off with a tool. This allows the integrity of the nail to be strong. My cuticles were not trimmed properly, but instead incomplete and quickly. Polish application was very average and could've been better. I would not recommend this place. I'm not sure what passes for a quality manicure in this neighborhood, but not even close to the detail and attention that I'm used to. Very disappointed read more

I have been coming here for the last two years and I see Lynn and Mary. I don't mind making the 30-40 min drive because Lynn and Mary are just so great! Becky the manager is the kindest and sweetest always finding ways to make every customer happy. My dip manicure usually last up to 4 weeks if not longer and Mary is the best with ingrown toenails and French tip work is perfection. I went to get a manicure this morning with a friend. I was only doing manicure and she was only doing pedicure. When being seated I asked the manicurist if there was any way I could sit next to my friend and she told me she has to ask her boss. Her boss said no and then the manicurist told her but she is very pregnant can we make an exception and then the boss lady agreed. Her boss did not seem like a very pleasant person. I will say my manicurist was a very very sweet lady. However, I will not be coming back. While she was doing my nails she kept hurting my cuticles with the nail file thing that spins. I proceeded not to say anything cause she was very sweet. Towards the end I started to notice my cuticles were bleeding and eventually continued to bleed. She did not acknowledge that my fingers were bleeding and I walked out of there with a poor $50 dip manicure . Anyways, she was sweet but definitely will not be coming back due to the poor manicure. My baby is due this weekend and praying I don't get an infection from this manicure. read more
