But I noticed right away after sitting down how unclean the entire space was. Nail dust covers just about everything. During my fill, there was never an attempt to wipe away any of the dust from surfaces. I had a morning appointment, so I had to wonder when the last time was that they had cleaned - including the gel lamp - it was filthy from inside/out. I was hesitant to put my hands in it, but unfortunately, the only way to turn it on is to place your hand on the bottom surface of the lamp (so I had to touch all of that muck sitting on the surface). As for my nails themselves - the gel was sloppily applied and not evened out. I was expecting the uneven surfaces to be filed down during the finishing process, but most of them were left uneven and lumpy. In all of the 20+ years I've been getting gel nails, I don't think I've ever had a manicure that looked so unprofessional. I could have done better myself.

Put on fake toenails for about six months. And deal with the embarrassment of losing both my toenails. Now after a year, only one of my toenails is completely healed while the other still is not 100% back to normal. Her mannerism is horrible. She will shake your hand and make you feel so unwelcome in her chair. At first she did an exceptional job but then I don't know what happened. People please be aware of this person. I'm not sure if she doesn't clean her equipment correctly, but I will never go back to her again.

I had been seeing Julie for close to a year and a half because her work was good. The past 6 months, the customer service began to go downhill. A warm welcome wasn't there, her studio started becoming more unclean at each visit and she would constantly complain about how tired she was and vent about her life troubles. I even started bringing in my own nail supplies because I never saw her clean any of her tools. Ever. When I arrived at our last visit, she was under the weather and rushed through our appointment. She had cancelled 2 appointments more recently last minute (30 minutes to an hour prior to my appointment time) and today was the 3rd and final time. It's obvious girlfriend is burnt out already in her short time as a business owner. I won't return and encourage future guests as a heads up that there are other amazing nail techs out there who won't take advantage of your time, will happily provide amazing service and great work.
