This is my new nail place! They have plenty of color options and Hannah and Vu are very knowledgeable about nails and what would best fit for their clients. I also love how I don't feel rushed and that there is attention to detail when my nails are being done. Everyone has loved my nails and I can't wait to keep coming back. I've been to many salons in the area and my friend from NY recommended this place and it's truly the best. I also think they are one of the few that does hard gel and they are perfectionists. I'm so happy I found this gem

The BEST mani pedi I have had in years. I showed my manicurist a picture of the nails I wanted and my nails looked identical to the photo. But it's not just that, it's like she cared. I actually got a manicure with my gel manicure! Right, like she soaked my nails and cleaned my cuticles, massaged my hands and arms at the end. And the pedicure! The technician took her time....... This was like a pedicure of the old days. When they spent time and made you feel like you were pampered! I am incredibly grateful that I found The Nail Gallery. I won't ever go anywhere else! I feel like I should say more but I'll end now!! haha

All ladies who get acrylics this is the best place! First off getting my old set off was painless! Instead of pulling the old set off he soaked my nails and then filed them off and it was so painless. Then I showed a picture off Pinterest of the set shape and design i wanted and he killed it. Also used a nude base which was really nice ! Vu who is the owner is a nail genius! Willing to drive up from LA to get my nails done by him!

Without a doubt, it's the best nail place in Palm Desert and the surrounding area. Yvonne, the nail technician, is a true pro. Not only is she efficient and speedy, but her work is simply beautiful. The price is reasonable considering the quality, and my nails have never looked better. They stay intact and don't lift or break. I can't forget to mention the wonderful pedicures they offer as well. I requested an appointment and Vu got back to me super quickly. I was visiting and super happy to have found this nail shop. I ended up getting a gel mani & pedicure, and my artist was very friendly and understanding when I changed my mind about colors 3 times! She really took her time to make sure everything was neat, honestly an amazing pedicure too I felt very relaxed. $75 for the combo in cash, obviously bring extra for tip! My nails came out great and next time I visit I will be back. Thank you Vu & nail gallery team! read more

I still can't express how happy I am that Vu does my nails. The coolest and nicest guy. I am always amazed at how many tools he uses for one set of nails. It's fun to watch him as a true artist and watch him double check the work. His wife Hannah is equally as talented. I had the best pedicure, I think his name is Larry. Great music too and the pride of ownership is so evident. I drive two hours every 14 days to have Vu do my nails. It's a vibe! read more

This is by far the salon that I go out of my way to visit for services. I live in West Hollywood but I prefer to have my nails cared for at the Nail Gallery. They do the best professional job and provide an atmosphere that is devoid of all of the chaos and intensity at other salons both in LA and in the desert. It's a special place with special people and I hope they understand how much I appreciate them. It's a 120 Mi trip each way but well worth it to me. I believe that is saying a lot! read more

I highly recommend Angelica at the Nail Gallery. She has been a blessing since I lost my dear friend and nail specialist who did my nails for many years. Angelica is professional, knowledgeable, and personable! I sometimes have trouble with ingrown toenails; she has helped me immensely! Angelica does an excellent pedicure and manicure. The best gel pedicure ever. I've seen Larry several times whenever I'm in town. He is meticulous, professional and friendly. The shop is basic-no frills. But none of that matters because as a bonus, Larry gives you the longest, best leg and foot massage ever. I'm not exaggerating. The best! And reasonable too. The best service you can get. Friendly and very accommodating, the owners are super nice. I get the best quality and service on my nails and Toes. I wouldn't go anywhere else!! Due to the shape of my nails, I have a very difficult time keeping product on, while maintaining healthy nails, and Vu has solved both. Vu does an excellent job every time i visit the Salon, and is so knowledgeable about nails. I leave the Salon very happy every time. He listens to every client and does exactly what they want. I tried the this nail salon because it is in my neighborhood and convenient. They were gracious enough to fit me in for a pedicure. Unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone. I received the worse pedicure of my life, and my expectations are minimal. None of the dead skin was removed which was very obvious. When I requested to do so, it was a partial job as if this person had no idea what I was talking about. The nail polish is all over my toes and cuticles messy. The polish is not even. remoI am highly dissatisfied and disappointed, as I am always hopeful trying a new place. I was asked how it was upon leaving and advised not well. No one seemed to care. I should have saved the money and done this myself. read more

Walked into the Nail Gallery this morning (door propped open, neon 'open' sign in front lit up) to be told that they are not open. This said to me while in the middle of giving another customer a pedicure. Very confusing. Especially after I checked on line & hours are clearly stated there as well as on the door. There is a hand written sign that says after Sept 17 they will be closed on Monday's, but this is a full week before that. So my advice is to call ahead because walk ins are certainly not welcome. read more

When she finished shaping them, I realized they were longer than I wanted, so I politely asked if she could cut them a little shorter. Instead of simply adjusting them, she responded, "Why are you asking me this now?" in a rude tone and threw her tools into her cart because she was upset. Later, I asked if she could paint one nail with a color I was deciding between so I could compare it. After seeing it, I politely asked if we could use a different color instead. She became visibly irritated and said, "This is what you asked for," then continued painting with the color I had just said I didn't want, even after I repeated that I wanted to change it. The entire experience made me feel uncomfortable, and I won't be returning.

I went in to get some Gel X nails done . The lady was so incredibly kind , I enjoyed her as a…read moreperson but as my nail tech I was left pretty disappointed. She was incredibly truthful and admitted to not being able to do what I originally wanted so I changed the look . After a couple minutes I changed it again for something more simple as to not take her out of her comfort zone . The first red flag was her just cutting and dehydrating the nail but not doing any cuticle work . For how expensive the place is you'd think they'd clean up the nail before starting . I had to ask to get my cuticles cleaned up . Cool she did them awesome . Stabbed me twice with the cuticle cutters and noticed she hasn't replaced any of the tools she was using from the girl she had just helped before me, this was worrisome because like I said she stabbed me with a tool that she could have been stabbing someone else with leading to infection. I let it go as she was very sweet and I figured maybe she's just a bit tired . She gets to gluing the nails down and they are completely messed up , one nails going to the right while the other is going to the left they just looked a whole mess . I had to ask her to please re do the placement as they looked terrible . We're moving forward alls good , until the drill she's using starts to burn my cuticles more than once ... Now we're putting the color on and everything is going good until an appointment of hers shows up and she starts rushing what she's doing . I'll place a reference picture underneath to show what I wanted and what I got . She did relay that it would not be identical as obviously she's doing someone else's look . The price and the final product just was no where near $95 dollars. The nails on have polish on them yet still look clumpy and the sides are uneven from the filing she did to the sides . My nail was left with a tremendous amount of nail polish around the cuticle because of the airbrush machine she used and the quickness she went to finish for her next guest . Instead of taking the time to clean around the nail she went in very quickly with a brush still leaving a tremendous amount of excess nail polish . I'm not confrontational so I would never ask for a discount or not pay the service I was given with a tip . This review is simply to inform others that if you are planning on doing GelX this may not be the best place for you . To me on my hands they unfortunately look like dollar store press on's that have started growing out . The nail's themselves are not horrendous just not worth the heavy price tag they charge you for them, $95 .I just got the nails done yesterday April 24 and as I left I realized they already looked like they had grown out. Just very dissatisfied with them overall .

I've been a loyal client here for a long time, mainly because of the staff (Julie, Ann and all the…read moregirls there). They're friendly, talented, and genuinely make the experience pleasant. If this review were only about the technicians, it would be much higher. Unfortunately, the ongoing issue is scheduling and management. I always call ahead to book an appointment, but when I arrive there's often an excuse as to why I can't be seen on time. I'm frequently asked to wait an extra 20-30 minutes sitting in a chair, even though I had a confirmed appointment. It feels like the salon is consistently overbooked and understaffed. I don't think the staff is at fault they're clearly doing their best--but as a client, it's frustrating when time isn't respected. When you schedule an appointment, you expect to be seen close to that time, especially when you plan your day around it. I'm sharing this in hopes that management takes a closer look at how appointments are handled, because the team here really is great. Better scheduling would make a big difference.

It had great reviews, so we decided to check it out! When we arrived, there was about a three-hour wait since it was a busy Saturday. We put our names and number down, then came back around 4 PM. Once we returned, it took a bit to get called back since they had some paperwork and setup to complete. You also text your tattoo artist directly with what you want, which made the process really smooth. Our tattoo artist, Alix, was extremely kind and welcoming. I was able to sit in the room along with another friend to watch the process, which was super cool. Each artist has a private room with a small couch and a few chairs, so it felt comfortable and relaxed. This was actually my first time in a tattoo shop, and it was fascinating to see how everything worked, the tools, the setup, and the overall attention to quality and detail. My friend was so happy with how her tattoo turned out, it looked amazing! The design came out super clean with a beautiful finish. The whole process only took about 30 minutes, and the total was $100, which is also their minimum price for tattoos. So just keep that in mind when planning your visit. The overall vibe of the place was awesome, very laid-back and friendly. The shop is located upstairs, and I'd definitely recommend calling ahead or making an appointment if you can, since they do get busy. The artist who tattooed me, Fiona, was actually the one who drew the flash I chose, which made it even better. The session went quickly, but she never rushed -- it was super chill. I was literally starting to fall asleep if it weren't for my phone blowing up with texts. Fiona was EXCELLENT. I'm absolutely coming back to have her do another traditional piece.
