I mainly wanted my cuticles cleaned up and my nails evenly filed. Unfortunately, she didn't cut or clean my cuticles at all. I still have so much cuticle left, and I even have a little hangnail. She also completely ruined the shape of my nails, and I ended up having to file them all the way down short. I had spent so much time growing my nails out, so that was really upsetting. I also paid for the most expensive pedicure they offered, and honestly, it was horrible. She barely removed any of my cuticles, didn't properly scrape or clean my feet, and overall it felt like the entire service was rushed. The flowers and fruit that were supposed to be included in the water were just poorly cut up and thrown in. Even with the scrubs and everything else that were supposed to be included, it felt like she was trying to find ways to shorten the service instead of actually providing everything I paid for. What makes it even more frustrating is how much money I spent. I even left a tip, despite honestly feeling like they didn't deserve one, because I try to be respectful of people's work. But I walked out having spent a significant amount of money and my nails and pedicure looked horrible. I'm genuinely disappointed with the entire experience.

The pedicure included a great massage, thoughtful treatments, careful shaping, and a clean, polished finish. Nothing felt rushed, and the attention to detail was exactly what I've been looking for. What really stood out was how kind and welcoming everyone was. The whole environment felt relaxed and friendly rather than chaotic and transactional like some busy salons. Another detail I loved? During the removal process, she had me place my nails in a bowl of acetone and kept alternating hands instead of using foil wraps and allowing them to soak properly for 15-20 minutes, which is what I later read is the recommended process. After about 30 minutes, she seemed frustrated and started rushing through my appointment so she could get to another client. Unfortunately, my experience today was one of the worst I've had. I went in for a pedicure and initially asked the technician to apply nail stickers to my toes. She advised against it since I wasn't getting gel polish, which I understood and agreed with. Instead, I asked if she could paint my toenails a darker pink and simply add a small heart design. I believe there was a miscommunication because the technician told me to wait, but she never returned. My toenails were left with only clear polish, and I waited approximately 15-20 minutes before realizing no one was coming back. At that point, I had to leave. Before leaving, I calmly explained to the owner that I believed there had been a misunderstanding. I told her I had explained what I wanted to the technician, but there may have been a language barrier. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was asked why I didn't say something sooner, even though I had already explained the situation. I felt the responsibility was shifted onto me rather than the salon taking accountability for the miscommunication. The owner then asked me to come back later that day so they could finish my pedicure. I rearranged my schedule, picked up my son, and returned to the salon. Having to come back was already an inconvenience, but I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right. This time, I again requested a darker pink polish with a simple heart and a few polka dots. After the service was completed, I was surprised to be charged an additional fee for the design. Considering I had to return because my original service was left unfinished due to the salon's mistake, I don't believe it was appropriate to charge me extra. What disappointed me most wasn't the design fee itself--it was how the situation was handled. There was no ownership of the mistake, I was made to feel responsible for the miscommunication, I had to return to have the service completed, and then I was charged extra for the correction. I've been a loyal customer for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes it's about taking responsibility and making things right when they happen. Unfortunately, I don't feel that happened here, and because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this salon if this is how customer concerns are handled.
