I got a groupon for an Aromatherapy Massage from a friend for my birthday for this place. When I called to make my appointment in March, I was told that massages on Saturdays (the only day I could make it to Kirkland from Seattle) were booked til June but I could use my groupon for a manicure/pedicure. Sure! So I show up on my scheduled day and upon entering am hardly greeted by a fairly unfriendly woman who I will venture to guess is from Eastern Europe.(We'll call her Natasha) She had me fill out paperwork (for my nails?) and sent me back with a girl in her mid-20s. I don't think she ever told me her name. We end up in a back room with no music playing, no magazines for me to read and nothing for me to look at...so I apparently have to chat with the technician...which is fine, I love talking to people. We made small talk, then she asked if I had a boyfriend. I told her yes and that we'd been living together for a while. Then she said "So when are you going to get married and have a baby and be a family like you're supposed to?" (insert sound of record scratching) Huh? Supposed to? No. No. No. I decide we are done talking. Then music starts playing. Thank god...no more silence...until I realize it's an instrumental of the "Top Gun" theme...and it is repeating over and over and over. I finally ask the girl if this is all that plays here. She looks at me slightly scared and says "Sometimes...it hypnotizes me to sleep." Before she paints my nails, she asks if I want to tip her first, a bit presumptious, but I understand not wanting mess up my nails. I hand her a $20 and ask for $10 back. She runs up front and comes back saying they don't have change but they might when she's done. So she paints my nails and once she is done, it is apparent it is time for me to GO...basically cause she rushes me out. I take my $20 back to the front and Natasha glares at me and says "CHANGE? No, I do not HAVE. Don't you have a credit card or check?" I respond, "No, I have $9 in $1s...here ya go. Then the nail technician opens the door for me (my nails are still wet) and says "The nails will dry as you drive." No, they will get MESSED UP as I drive...and they did...and I'm never ever going back. read more

I love this place. If you are looking for results-driven treatments, they offer a great value. The parking is easy, there is no high-pressure to buy expensive products (although they have them for sale), the treatments are on-time and highly effective. I had no trouble making appts. The facility is very clean and nicely decorated. It's true, the service ppl are not lovey-dovey, but who cares? I would say they are Eastern European, and that is their culture. They definitely know what they are doing re: skin care. I have found the facials & microdermabrasion treatments to be excellent, and highly effective. I have visited many, many spas in the greater Seattle area, and I will be back here for sure! I value their no-nonsense approach, and I appreciate a good value. read more

Don't even waste your time! My husband bought me the December groupon for a 2.5 hour spa day and gave it to me on Christmas. I was SO excited being I have never done an alege wrap, had a facial before, or dry exfoliating done plus it included a massage and foot bath! So after we got home from holiday travels in January, I called and got a voicemail. 'Okay, I'll just call again in a week they must be closed still' I thought to myself. I called a week later, again voicemail. Weird...I called back a few days later at a different time, hoping to catch someone, nope, so this time I decided to leave a voicemail- awkward. Several days later- now almost the beginning of Feb, the lady at the day spa calls me back and says "we are booked solid for the whole month of Feb and March, I can put you in April." Me- "You are booked the ENTIRE next 2 months- I can take ANY day of the week at ANY time!" Lady at Spa - "yes April 11, is my first available at 10:30am" Me - "uh okay, I guess that will work, you have nothing in the afternoon? can you call me if there are any cancellations?" "No, I do not have an afternoon appt." Me-"Okay, I guess I'll take it." In 2nd week of March, I severely hurt my ankle and was on crutches and could not drive, so I called and left another voicemail mentioning I had injured myself and probably would need an appt a little later in April. My call was returned days later again and she left a voicemail this time saying "I have changed your appt now to May 24th at 8:30am. Thank you" . WHAT? you just changed it without even confirming if that was okay with me? And now for another TWO months of waiting?!?! Two weeks ago, I found out I have a big event on May 24th now and no way I can do a spa day. I called Enchante Spa again for what seems like the 100th time, this time on the voicemail message, it just says they are "closed for remodeling and will be back on May 9th". I've left two voicemails, asking someone to call me back, but apparently no one is checking messages right now. My groupon expires June 13th. Odds are they are not going to have an appt available before then. So I called Groupon and had them issue me a refund in Groupon Bucks so I can at least use money somewhere else! (I had to argue alot with groupon to get them to do that though). So all and all this Spa has actually given me more stress and irritation at the end of the day then I have ever had with a day spa! Who runs a business like this? You don't even ask what schedule works for your customers?! You do all kinds of specials via online coupon sites that you can't handle, so your customers suffer? how unprofessional. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. The service is terribly rude. I called several times to make an appointment a month in advance since I knew they did a groupon special and would be very busy. Every time I called the woman on the other line has been busy, the last time she said "all you people want weekend appointments, I'm so busy why don't you leave me alone" I called on Feb 15th to get an appointment for March 10th unfortunately she keeps weekend appointments of her real clients not her groupon users. I'm going to see if I can get a refund on my Groupon, I'm afraid to go in after the rude service on the phone. read more

I got the exact opposite of what I asked for...I wanted deep tissue, and all I got was light touch...truly stunning how messed up this experience was. Total waste of an hour and $80. Forty-ish Viet lady, I think she's the only one doing massage there. I asked her via text if she could do deep tissue and she said yes. She flaked on the first appointment I made, some lame excuse, but I gave her a second chance because I live in Kirkland and it's convenient. Big mistake. Before starting, I told her exactly what I needed, deep tissue on my lower legs and left shoulder. She proceeded to do everything but what I asked for. Very light touch and she spent most of her time on my back, which I told her I didn't need. That's what was so astonishing. I know she understood me, so why not do what I asked for? Over 1 hour, she spent a grand total of about 3 minutes on my lower legs, with a touch so light it didn't do anything for me. I do not know how this woman stays in business. Stay away unless you are ok with very light, non-therapeutic touch. To add insult to injury, she has really bad breath. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a series of three microdermabrasion treatments which I was excited to use. The first two felt rushed- I was in & out in less than 45 minutes & the woman did not seem happy to be giving me my treatments. I just left my third treatment & was left alone in the treatment room for what seemed like 20 minutes. At least during my first two treatments I received a decent arm, neck & shoulder massage. However during this last treatment I got a ridiculously short arm massage before the woman left the room. I was starting to wonder if she'd ever come back! I am new to the area so when I saw a groupon for a cut and color I thought I'd take advantage of the deal to try a new place. I'm so glad I did. Austin was warm and friendly, and he gave me the best cut and color of my life! I go red, which can be difficult to find the right shade without getting purple or unnatural looking. The manicurist STOLE MY Peridot BRACELET purchased by my husband FOR MY VERY FIRST MOTHER'S DAY. I was the last customer of the day and called the very next morning at opening time to ask to pick it up since I know they had it. She said "No Jewelry, sorry." She took it off of my wrist for the manicure, stashed it out of sight somewhere so it was easily forgotten when I went to figure out how to pay with the distraction of wet nails and toes. To add insult to injury this was after changing my mani-pedi appointment multiple times insisting that my weekend appointment had to be moved to the middle of a workday instead, period. Everything the reviewers have written is true. I had to get my Groupon refunded....they are so bad. Basically they gave away my appointment to somebody else without my permission. As such you only get their voicemail and its super hard to get an appnmt with them, to top it all she gave it to someone else and was not a bit apologetic about it. I forgot about this place until I ran across it. I went here about a year ago. I payed $80 for a TERRIBLE experience. Ambiance: 87% It does look really nice here. Very modern look. Smells nice and temperature is cool. Customer Service: 15% I originally wanted just a 30 minute massage because I didn't really have time for a 60. So, the masseuse had took my money and was about 10 minutes into the massage when the manager barged in saying that I had to pay for a full hour because they don't do 30 minute massages. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I should have left right then. The masseuse really tried to make things better, but the damage had been done. Massage: 64% It was a decent massage. Pressure was alright, but I had a lot of neck knots at the time that I had pointed out. Later I ran across a Groupon for half priced, but passed because the experience was that bad. read more

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever I purchased a Groupon for a manicure/pedicure, as did my mother. I made an appointment for 4pm; my mother made an appointment for 3pm the same day. My mother had to cancel her appointment; the spa then informed me that I could not keep my 4pm appointment because it was inconvenient for the technician to wait until 4pm, when my appointment was originally schedule (and it was schedule prior to my mother every scheduling her appointment). If my mother had been some person I didn't know then the spa would've never canceled my appointment but because I know her, I am no longer allowed to keep my 4pm appointment. (Note: my mother gave more than 24-hours notice for her cancellation, in line with the spas policy.) I have never experienced such awful customer service, and will NEVER spend my money, nor suggest others to spend their money, at this spa. Value or no value, these people are incredibly rude and inconsiderate to their clients. read more

I got my full set, the owner took my coupon and gave me nothing in return....then I call a few weeks later, set up an appointment for my relash, show up today, (30 minute drive...) and they simply refuse to do it unless I pay. Stay Away!!! The woman that runs this place is very brusk. The 70-minute midrodermabraision facial lasted only 50 minutes and the technician was out of the room for 15 of that! It was the worst facial I've ever had. When I called back afterwards to discuss this with the manager, I was told that the technician that did the treatement was the manager. Apparrently she is the only employee. The place is quite large, but when I was there, middle of the day on a Wednesday, there wasn't another soul in sight. I think that says it all. Fortunately, Buywithme was fantastic and refunded my money for the additional vouchers I had purchased. I had planned to give one as a gift, but after my experience I would have been embarrassed to send anyone else there. read more

We made appointments two months in advance with a Groupon Deal and when calling in two days before the appointment, we are told that they never scheduled our appointments and to ask Groupon for a refund. They just didn't want to honor the Groupon - WARNING - terrible business to deal with. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone with that service, they didn't even TRY to accomodate us - all they said was call Groupon for a refund. The worst customer service ever!!! I called to schedule a massage and after 4-5 calls finally got an appointment. I went there for my appointment and the lady at the front desk told me i don't have the appointment on that day actually but instead 3 weeks out! I'm sure something got messed up in their scheduling. 3 weeks later, i show up again for my 3:30 appointment and same lady tells me that the massage therapist took somebody else in by mistake and i have to wait till 4:30 if i want service or call and refund the Groupon. What??? Anyway, i went back at 4:30, i was in the room at 4:45 and done 45 minutes later (instead of 60 minutes as the appointment was for). I will never ever go there again. My first and only visit was very unprofessional and unpleasant. I was told to arrive 15 min prior to the appointment to fill out paperwork. My appt. was at 9am. The first employee arrived at 905am. I was waiting outside in the cold. They did not apologize or even aknowledge that they were late. Then I was taken back for my microdermabraision and the woman did not introduce herself or let me know any details of how the procedure was going to go. This was a first time for me so I am not sure if the procedure was good or not. All I know is that I will never return just from the lack of customer service and professionalism. OK.. lots of one-star experiences from other people who have tried to, or actually used these services...Here's mine and it rates less than a star. I made an appointment for a color and cut two months ago (July 2012) and set for today. When i didn't get any pre- appointment confirmation, I called their number to find the "no longer in service" recording and the phone was disconnected. So, I stopped by and although closed during business hours, the place was fully stocked and had the appearance of running a business. So....lesson learned here is that their are too many reliable salons in Kirkland and Bellevue. Just don't trust this one to be around when you show up for your appointment. read more

Salon goers BEWARE! I bought a Groupon for this Spa for a one hour aromatherapy massage. First off, when I called to schedule an appointment, the receptionist was very rude on the phone and wasn't able to schedule me FOR A MONTH! I got the vibe that it was because I was a Groupon customer (they wouldn't be making as much money off of it). Second, I got there right on time (parking is horrible), I had to fill out the normal paperwork and when I reminded them that I was a Groupon customer, the manager made me show her my voucher and scrutinized it for a long time. It did not make me feel very welcome. The front desk receptionist was cold and rude as well and did not make the environment very welcoming. The massage therapist was 20 MINUTES LATE! Are you serious? Lastly, the massage I received was not even an aromatherapy massage.... it didn't even feel like a real massage. She has a charming personality and a great sense of humor but once she begins the massage she is completely focused on your needs. Left a few messages and finally got a return call after a week of trying. I was informed when my appt would be, "your appt is at 11am Wednesday" when I had asked for a Friday or Saturday appt. DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON! IT IS A SCAM!!! It's been 3 weeks since I've left messages to schedule an appointment for a haircut (I even had to purchase a different Groupon to a different vendor to get a haircut). The phone number listed is to a cell phone for a guy named "Austin," but he doesn't exist. After leaving two messages over two weeks I thought maybe he got into an accident and no one is getting the messages, so I looked up the "salon" and called that number and a woman with an accent answered "hello." No Enchante Salon or anything identifying a business. I said I'm trying to schedule a haircut with the Groupon I purchased and she immediately said I need to call the cell because he's an independent contractor. I told her I have left messages but haven't heard back, then she tells me to text him. I tried that, and it has finally convinced me that he doesn't exist and I was scammed. So now I have to apply for the refund to Groupon and prove that the service is fraudulent. Groupon even offered me to swap out his service to another haircut (after I told them I already purchased another one because 3 weeks is a long time to have to wait) and they offered this guy as the first choice and other salons that are 45 minutes from where I live. I'm not accepting this unless they throw in a hotel stay and dinner. The salon I ended up going to was 7 minutes from where I live. I wish I had never bothered, and I thought I had looked up the reviews to this "salon" on here before but now I only see awful reviews for this place.
