I was able to relax during my pedicure, and chat a bit during my manicure. They made sure that I was completely dry before I attempted to leave. I always get my nails done at nail expo. Evie the owner is the absolute best, and her staff are amazing as well. I love the huge color selection of shellac and of regular nail polish. It really satisfies my OCD that I am able to match my shellac color I get on my hands perfectly to a normal polish that I get on my toes. Everything in the salon is super clean and it is always a job well done. They also have a large selection of glitter nail polish if you are as obsessed with glitter as I am. read more

7/18/17. Update. I went back, and it was much better this time. Hopefully it was just a really bad day.... I have been coming here for years and have always been very pleased with my pedicures. However, since it was sold, the quality isn't as good. The last 2 times have been more miss than hit. She rushed everything! ~ I realize I wasn't the only one there, but they weren't stacked up with clients either. The water was cool, and when I asked if it could possibly be warmed up, I felt a ton of cold water, and then once it turned warm, she turned it off. She must have been very distracted... not only did she not pay attention to the water temp, but I think she trimmed my nails with her eyes closed. Why are my toenails so drastically different in length? They weren't that way when I walked in...... Maybe I just hit them on two off days.... But I think I will find another shop.... Really disappointed.n read more

This place is horrible! While I was getting a manicure, the lady wiped my cuticle clippings into her hand and then rubbed it into my arm with lotion. I had to ask her to remove the dead skin pieces from my arm. I almost vomitted. It was so disgusting! She saw nothing wrong with this and look appalled that I asked her to wash her hands. This place was okay. They got me in right away which was nice. They had the water for a pedicure kind of cold. It was only one woman who I thought was strange. She rushed through my pedi and you can tell my nail job was hastily done. She complained about the weather the entire time which was unpleasant. As seen about this place in earlier reviews, a pedi should be 20$. But she charged me 25$. I think you could probably get a better pedi somewhere else for $25. read more

I stopped in for a mani & pedi with my sister on her birthday this past May. Super inexpensive and the LONGEST massages ever!! During my manicure, they rolled up my t-shirt sleeves and even rubbed my shoulders! I was in heaven. I was also super impressed because I brought in a little pack of $6 glue-on toenails (I have one janky toenail :( ) and the women were more than willing to figure out how to apply it and manicure it. She did an excellent job, too, and it looked so natural! I tried to do one myself a couple of weeks later and it didn't look nearly as good and didn't stick as long. I'll definitely be back for my nails when I have some time to relax and melt at their hands! The prices can't be beat: $30 for a mani & pedi is a screamin deal! read more

So I have been going to nail expo for years and yesterday when I was there they charged me for tax. I went back the next day to complain about being over charged and the owner told me that they are charging for tax now. Never heard of such a thing. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Took over an hour for the worst pedicure of my life, and on top of it they completely forgot I had asked for a manicure as well. I had an unpleasant experience as a first time customer. The technician removed my shellac nail polish with a flat file, then acetone, and then a rotary tool. The spinning tool drew blood a few times. I have little scabs on a few toes where the tool nicked. The new gel/shellac polish looks thin and uneven to me, and the nails have been shaped poorly. Too low and uneven. Cost was $45 for a gel pedicure. read more

I had been coming here for a few months...at first I thought they were really good because they were fast, but then i realized the lady didnt take the time to actually file my nails correctly, so after a week or 2 my nails started to lift every single time. The past time i went I had noticed what looked like fungus growing on my nail, I pointed it out & the lady could really care less. The other day all my nails were lifting so I decided to take them off & get a new set. when I took them off, i noticed 3 nails total with fungus on them. I found a new place in Bellevue that is alot further from my house, but totally worth it. I will NEVER go back to this shop again! read more

This is my go-to place. I've been going here for about 3 years and every time I've gone somewhere else, it doesn't come close to what Cindy can do. My real nails are very weak, so I always get acrylics, and she does an excellent job at making them look like natural nails. I also have a job that requires me to use and wash my hands frequently, and these nails are much more durable than other nails I've gotten. Their pricing also makes them stand out. A lot of other salons that are more expensive do not have nearly as high quality nails. Nail Expo has incredibly affordable prices and great service. I love them! read more

We moved into the Inglewood neighborhood a year ago, and our new neighbor raved about this place - she would always come home with gorgeous nail art by Evie, the owner. I've been there four times now, and just love it! The prices are good, everyone is very friendly, and they do a great job on my nails. My feet are RIDICULOUSLY ticklish, and so pedicures have always been a special form of hell for me. But the two pedis I've had here have been great - very comfortable, with a great leg/foot massage, and my feet look fabulous afterwards. My Mom is visiting in a couple of weeks before my sweetie and I get married, and I've booked us both for a mani/pedi - it will be my Mom's first time for both! Highly recommend! read more

Tony and Cindy are conscientious and very service oriented. I have gone to their salon for 8 years and never have I received poor service or had a health concern as a result of their work. I would caution the previous writer to take more caution in making a diagnosis of a fungus without more proof....you could ruin someone's livelihood....and you have no proof...pity....I have gone to many nail salons in other areas and I always come back to this salon. They do a good job and do not rob you in their charges. I am very pleased with them and recommend them positively. read more

I frequented this nail salon over the course of a year mostly for brow waxing, manicures and pedicures. Nice staff, fast service but I got a fungus in both my big toe nails which has taken over a year to treat. As nice as they are and as reasonable as their prices are, I will never go back and caution anyone else who is considering it. A visit to a dermatologist, 3xs a week vinegar soaks and topical treatments is what it took to finally rid my toes of the fungus. Never again read more

Prices are very reasonable and the service is always great. The massages are amazing and even when they're busy they take the time to make sure you get a good massage in! The place was recently redone so there are now 5-6 pedicure stations and 4-5 spots for manicures. They have a huge selection of shellac colors too. I have been here a handful of times just for pedicure's. After today's experience, I will NEVER GO BACK! I always thought the place could be cleaner, but I have seen worse. Today I was getting a pedicure. When the person sitting next to me was done with their pedicure, the lady rinses the bowl with water and dries with a towel! Absolutely NO CLEANER! NASTY! As I was finishing my pedicure, she asked me if I wanted a sticker on my toe. I asked if it cost more, she said NO! I always pay $20.....today was $30! Hmm, is this how they do business? It didn't really register until after the fact. I am tempted to call and see if they will refund me $10. Assuming they wont! There are many nicer/cleaner nail salons, especially in Kirkland. I will never go back here! I am not one to ever write negative reviews. This is my 1st time on Yelp. Just want to inform people....its not as clean as you think!
