7/18/17. Update. I went back, and it was much better this time. Hopefully it was just a really bad day.... I have been coming here for years and have always been very pleased with my pedicures. However, since it was sold, the quality isn't as good. The last 2 times have been more miss than hit. She rushed everything! ~ I realize I wasn't the only one there, but they weren't stacked up with clients either. The water was cool, and when I asked if it could possibly be warmed up, I felt a ton of cold water, and then once it turned warm, she turned it off. She must have been very distracted... not only did she not pay attention to the water temp, but I think she trimmed my nails with her eyes closed. Why are my toenails so drastically different in length? They weren't that way when I walked in...... Maybe I just hit them on two off days.... But I think I will find another shop.... Really disappointed.n

Nick and his staff are the best. You get more than great service, also a friendly smile and always leave feeling pampered.

Such an amazing family owned small business, if you're looking for a nail spot please consider this one. My biggest personal complaint is that the salon is kept very warm, which is actually a plus if you're there for hair removal services, but might be considered "stuffy" if you're used to salons with industrial cooling/venting. This location is also very strongly incensed. I would not recommend going here if you're sensitive to fragrance or incense smoke. I requested a Classic pedicure with regular polish, listed at $40 including tax. They have many massaging spa chairs that use plastic foot bath liners for sanitation. At the end of the foot soak, the liner was immediately removed. I didn't ask about their method of sanitizing their tools, but I don't have any complaints about cleanliness or sanitation practices. The Classic pedicure included soaking, scrub, massage, and hot stones. The technician was friendly and thorough. I would have preferred if she had been more aggressive with my cuticles so I will make a point of communicating that if I were to visit again. I paid with cash but had the option of paying with card. I would go here again, but I do prefer my previous salon in Lake City, since I like having the option of paying less for fewer luxury spa services/inclusions (for example, I would choose a $25 pedicure with no stones or massage over a more expensive, more luxurious service).

You also are asking me to wait until Tuesday for the review when my concerns were brought on Friday. Worst. Haircut. Ever. If you would like to waste 2 hours on a haircut that should have been completed in 45 minutes, all while listening to far too personal baby daddy stories shared by your nice, but unskilled, stylist, then this is the salon for you! What was that? Should I have said something? Well, I did. That's when the less than 100% fabulous customer service kicked in. I sent photos and messages documenting the haircut. I asked for a refund. After all, that was $90 for the haircut that looks like the craft scissor haircut my friend's daughter gave herself when she was 5. They want to "fix" it. There's barely any hair left to "fix" and also, no. You have lost my trust. Just refund the money. Here's my story: I chose one of my reference images (the one with green highlights) directly from their website based on cut and type of color, highlights with a fashion color. What could possibly go wrong? There is a person there who literally can cut the cut I want the picture proved it, right? The scheduler said she knew exactly who to book me with, but let's do a color consultation first for $60. I countered with, let's schedule the cut and the stylist, and I can discuss color then. At my appointment, I showed the stylist a carefully curated set of images, cut images, and the cut I wanted in pics of me when I had that cut. This is important because, I should back up and say I was asking for a pixie cut. I explained that I wanted my already short hair to be styled into a long banged, messy pixie with wispy tendrils by my ears. This would require trimming bangs, texturizing the longer "bob" sides and back. An hour in, I knew far too much about her personal life, and half my hair was clippered and way too short. Then she said, " Hey, maybe we should leave the other side as it is (when I came in)". Um, what? I asked to see the back. It had been clippered and the long hair on top laid on it like a rug. Zero texture. Um... the back of my head looks like a triangle? Can you please fix it? She did, kinda. Now, it's at mile marker two hours, and I am late. She was still not done. I told her I had to go and that I would have to settle for what I have. I left, put my hat on, and cried. But that was after I was also charged a service fee to tip. Next comes the customer service: After work, I took my hat off to discover that you could see my scalp in places. I have virtually no bangs, and it is waaaaay worse than I thought. I immediately emailed with pics. Their response, thanks for the feedback. I called and asked someone from their leadership to call me back. Nope, no call. Fast forward to the next day and several emails later, and the owner said you can either come in (next week) or "this matter is closed". Charming. I've had pixie cuts for 20 years. This was not a texture things or even a miscommunication. It was a failure of the scheduler, the stylist, and ultimately the owner. That stylist needs to be trained better and should have never been given me as a client. And the owner, well, just rude. When did customer service become so rare? Guess they must be doing well if they don't need new customers. There's more, but I am tired of typing. I don't usually leave reviews. Update: to be clear I did not decline the review. I declined a review without the possibility of a refund. You also are asking me to wait until Tuesday for the review when my concerns were brought on Friday.

I came in for a hands and toes appointment and specifically asked beforehand if there was enough time to complete both services. I showed an inspiration picture and requested a milky white base with a French tip. I was assured they could do it. Unfortunately, the pedicure experience immediately felt off. The girl performing my pedicure skipped multiple steps that were listed in the pedicure service I paid for, and it was very obvious she was inexperienced or unlicensed. I had to repeatedly ask her to fix my French tip because it looked uneven and messy. I normally do not like speaking up, but I had an important event to attend and was paying for a gel service, so I wanted it done correctly. During my appointment, there was apparently another scheduling issue with a different client, and the girl doing my hands left before finishing them. My nails were never properly filed, my cuticles were not done, and my hands were never painted. I was then told I could come back another day and have my hands done for free because they were not completed. However, when I tried to arrange that, I was suddenly told I would still need to pay MORE to have them painted, despite already paying full price the day of my appointment for an unfinished job. On top of that, the nails that were applied were not prepped correctly and started breaking and chipping within days. I still paid in full and tipped at the appointment because I was trying to be respectful and understanding, but the way this situation was handled afterward was very disappointing. As a business owner myself, I understand mistakes happen, but customer service and accountability matter. I do not recommend this salon based on my experience.
