I always give second and third chances before I tend to make my reviews so that I'm being fare. In this case I tend to see the same mistake with this business. Customer service is a must at all costs when someone is interested and wanting to pay for your service. In my first review, I noted that I was not greeted and my nail tech did not seem to be that friendly but my nails looked awesome! My second appointment that I had with this shop 4 weeks ago was kinda the same deal in regards to the friendliness and energy in the shop. This updated review is in regards to the same issue, which was going to be my 3rd appointment with the same nail tech! I was trying to request a fill-in with the same nail tech, 4 days in advance. One Star - Extremely Disappointed Took my toddler here for a basic kid's mani-pedi and left completely disappointed. From the start, the staff tried to upsell gel polish for my daughter, which I clearly said I wasn't comfortable with. Then they told us the colors she picked weren't available and tried to steer us toward other options, which felt like they were limiting choices for no reason. But the biggest shock? They quoted me $75 for a kid's mani-pedi. Seventy-five dollars -- for a toddler. That's what you charge for a full adult service, and you're not even doing half the work on a child. No soak, no cuticle work, no polish skill needed -- just paint and go. There's absolutely no justification for that price for a child's basic service. Went in for a dip mani with tips and gel pedi... my technician was Hala, just awful across the board The dip was messy, bumpy and terrible shaping. The paint job was less than mediocre. Dip is stained all over my fingers. The edges are sharp and corners are missing color from how terrible of a job she did filing. Pedicure was rushed and she couldn't even hold the tools with how long and ridiculous her nails were. And then the egregious pricing after all that is sickening. I got a new full set May 31 and by June 6 I had one nail lifting. I called to make sure I didn't need an appointment for the repair. The person who answered the phone told me I could just walk in. Today I came in at 9:30 when they opened. I showed the guy there my nails and he asked who did them. I told him Linda. He told me to wait for Linda at her station and she's on her way to fix the nail. Linda did not show up until 10:45. When she got there she did apologize but only applied glue to my nail. Why would they have me wait that long just for glue. She did not replace my nail. The customer service here is horrible. Now I have dried glue all over the polish of the nail she "fixed". This review is from about 6 months ago (forgot to submit because I was so angry) Called for an appointment and told that since it was our first visit, anyone could help. And specifically told they would not make an appointment. Arrived at 4:00 on a Friday a few days after I called and was told I couldn't make an appointment. Waited an hour. Since it was for my daughter, and recommended by her friend, I waited. Over 4 hours and approximately $100 later, she ended up with a rushed design, completely unnatural looking nails. They looked like press on nails from the 1980's. Just showed her nails to another customer and she ran...literally. Even the other customer said they looked awful and didn't stay. In addition, my daughter wanted her toes painted...another $30 for nothing more than toenails polished? In total, 6 hours over 2 days and $160 because we still added gratuity. After my experience with the owner Jimmy...I'll never get my nails done again in this nail shop. He was charging me 110 for this set. Mind you I was getting a length beyond shorter than this and I wanted this same color a light pink. He took 3 hours and no I did not have a set on prior. He did my nails in a powder white and I kept hinting I had pink on my toes thinking he would put pink on top of the nails. I asked him when he put the clear coat on was he going to put the bubble gum he stated for what. Then Proceeds to tell me the color in the picture is off white. He never even asked what color I wanted!!!!!! I understood they didn't have this exact color, so I said can I at least get pink on my nails like the bubble gum they put on my toes. He then states "I won't make you pay for something you don't like" and i stated "I just want pink over my nails why can't I just get pink" he kept going on about what other clients pay him and his time he spent. So I said "I don't like them I just wanted pink on my nails" why would I pay 110 for a basic design and white. So he proceeds to cut all my nails off. Mind you I told him these were my birthday nails. Gives me my deposit back but they way he sat and talked down to me buy trying to act so "professional". He wanted me to feel bad for his mistake! And he did just that!!!! Hes lowkey a narcissist. When all he had to do was put pink on my nails. If y'all want better work in a closed environment start going to these local nail techs! And stop spending your good earned money on establishments like this! They don't care about us. SHIT a regular pedicure is $35. When you done your total be $55-65 because they charge $20 for gel polish instead of just including it in the damn price. Lessened learned. read more

I found this salon on IG, loved the work & decided to make an appointment back in December, 2022. The tech was so sweet but very SLOW. Took her literally 5 hours to do a pedicure and overlay on my nails. I went back for a fill-in & that took 3 hours. I decided to go to Jimmy and he was the best nail tech I've ever had. 6 days before my appointment with him, Mimi texted me to inform me that he no longer worked for the shop & asked if I wanted to reschedule with someone else. I decided to book with Klein because her work looks GREAT on IG. My appointment was at 1030. I called to let them know I was stuck in traffic and running a few minutes late. At 1034 I check-in. I was given the nail polish samples to choose my own polish but I feel like it was to distract me. Mimi disappeared in the back to work on a pedicure. It's now 11 and NO Klein. On the phone I wasn't told she was running late. But now Mimi is trying to get me to stay and have someone else start my pedicure. No, cancel my appointment and I'm not ever coming back here. I took my daughter here to get a pedicure today and It was very nice they had her seated right away it wasn't very busy and they immediately started working on her They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable And they went over and above to make sure they got all the details she came out very happy. Went in with a photographs of black nails with a sparkle on two of the nails and a chevron pattern on a clear polish middle finger. He proceeds to do dipping powder which I don't like. He looked at the picture several times and had it open while working. When I told him that the middle nail was clear and not flesh colored, he kept telling me that it would be clear when he was done. WHAT?! I stopped him again and told him that this pinkish, flesh color was not correct. He told me it would be fine. I also told him that the dipping powder was thick, uneven and bulky. He filed and filed until my cuticles were raw and lifting up. After about 15 more minutes of me trying to get what I wanted, I just gave up. I grabbed my things, paid and left. I was in near tears. I had to schedule an appointment elsewhere for a few days later to get what I wanted. I will say he did a fantastic job on my pedicure. If you want something other than the basics, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. The skill level and competency is VERY, VERY low. You'll get what you pay for. read more

Last week I received a pedicure and wrote a review on my experience. I was not pleased with my visit so therefore I did not write a positive review. I said my pedicure lasted about 10 minutes, clearly I am well aware this service can not be complete in that amount my time. People do exaggerate a little but it is to get a point across.To make my view on this place any better the "store owner" commented on my review with a unprofessional response. This is a review rewrite/update. The first time I came here I left with my nails perfect, within days my nail lifted, then ended up cracking and leaving a bruise under my real nail (ooch). Several days later a few more of my nails begin lifting. I went back to get them soaked off, that process went fine. However I left with my nails brittle, scratchy and dry looking. No clear polish of any type was apply after my nails were taking off. I also noticed that a few nail techs do not understand English. The lady next to me clearly asked for a light pink, nude and natural color. Her nail tech did not understand her clearly and gave her a clear polish. My Nail Tech didn't understand anything I asked him or requested either. I ended up coming straight home, cutting and refiling my nails. If you plan on attending this nail salon please be patient with their speech and take a picture of what you would like done. Good luck read more

A posh spot this is not, but if you're in a rush this is an option. Not a fancy spot (worn down pedicure chairs) and basic selection of nail polish, I was able to get in and out quickly and the work was what I asked for. I wasn't the only person there as there were about 5 customers also being worked on simultaneously, so staffing is adequate. Now don't be surprised if they ask if you want additional work as all salons like to do. read more

Location is pleasant and staff does a lovely job. I had been going here for years until I had a pedicure and got a REALLY bad infection. They do not use sterile equipment! The scrub brushes, files and Dremmel tools are all public-use, and the tools that could be in disinfectant are NOT. They have an autoclave, but I have seen the operators choose tools right from a cup of instruments that seem to be "for anyone", then replace them after rinsing them off! It's a shame, because they do a really nice job, and the prices are very competitive. I wish they would just learn to sterilize their tools. read more
