Chin believes only in soaking off the existing nails and will not hurry the visit by using the grinder most places use. He explained to me that it wears away at the strength of my natural nail and that I should insist my nail salon back home takes the time to soak off my nails. With that being said, Chin took great care in getting my very damaged and very short nails back to looking really nice, and we agreed only one tip for a nail that I had bit off so short it was painful. An chimed in on the color selection, and the two of them got me to a beautiful shade of champagne. As I sat in their salon, I lost sight of the fact that I was right off Eastern Avenue. I was getting lash removal & a new set of classic/hybrid lashes. I've been getting eyelash extensions for 13 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They were thin, whispy, pre-made fans that were poorly glued onto only some of my lashes. They started falling off almost immediately, and there were visible white clumps of glue that a friend pointed out because she thought I had crumbs on my eyes. One week later when I went to another eyelash studio, they couldn't even tell I had any extensions on until they put me under the lights. I would've been better off just curling my own lashes & using mascara because mine are thicker & longer than whatever they used. I've never had such poor quality.

The furniture is cracked and looks super run down. I would not recommend coming here unless you like being overcharged.

I said not cute and walked out. I did call back to the salon and spoke to the younger gentleman that was there but that was a waste of time. There was no compassion what so ever for what happened. I spent $108.00. I visited here 7 years ago and the service was so much better. although they are cheaper than most you defiantly get what you pay for.

This place is very unsanitary. I went for nail services last week. The older, petite lady, with short hair and glasses, did my pedicure. The tools she used on my feet were not sterilized. She accidentally cut the edge of my big toe, causing it to bleed. I was dumbfounded to see that she simply wiped away the blood with a cotton ball- and placed the contaminated cotton ball BACK on the tray! When the bleeding didn't stop, she wiped the excess blood using the towel that was beneath my feet. The bleeding still hadn't ceased, but she proceeded with the pedicure- she used the clear nail polish, and then the colored one- BOTH as blood had formed around the edges of my toenail! I didn't record the horrific incident because my finger nails had already been covered with the aluminum foil they use to remove old polish. I was hoping the guy/owner would see the now dried blood around the polished nail, as he got ready to apply the design on my nail, and speak with the person who did the manicure. Not only did he NOT say anything to her- he STILL applied the design to my nail, with the blood around the nail! Needless to say- I will NOT be going back. read more

Timmy is amazing! I have been getting my nails done for years now from other nail salons and I have to say Sunny nails is the best! I went there because another salon messed my nails all up. So I looked this place up and Timmy really did an amazing job fixing my nails and I have not been anywhere else since he started doing my nails a couple months ago. Now when I go I tell Timmy to just do what he wants cause he knows what I I like. He is really good with designing my nails .Their prices are great, they are very friendly! This place is awesome! My sister and I read all the wonderful reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were NOT disappointed. The salon is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly, engaging, and attentive with great attention to detail. We were pampered. We were not rushed, and they didn't skimp on the products. The prices are fantastic. We got gel manicures and we were so over- the- moon about the whole visit. We just can't wait to go back and try a pedicure or one of the many other services they offer. I've lived in this area for some time and I FINALLY found "my nail place". Timmy at Sunny Nails and Spa is absolutely the best. I have been doing acrylics on my nails since I always peel regular gel off and I'm very hard on my nails. They're also extremely weak, always have been. I've very particular about how I have them done. Timmy introduced "dip powder" to my nails and they've never last longer or looked better. AND my nails are getting stronger. He takes his time and is very thorough when working on my nails. I'm so grateful to find this place and definitely recommend it! read more

I had read all the reviews and decided to give them a try since I was in between clients for work. The salon is small but the staff were friendly. I got a basic pedicure and gel fill in with design. The lady who did fill in and pedicure did a great job. She cut my nails down and fixed the old acrylic that was one. Her design was so nice, one of the nicest ones I've had. Esthetically this nail salon is not quite up to par with others in the area, but the service was outstanding. My nail tech, Tess was very friendly and paid extra close attention to detail and nothing about my gel manicure or pedicure felt rushed. She also spoke great English which was nice, so we could chat. It says they deliver a quality pedicure, manicure or other services. It also says that people find this place friendly, clean and upbeat as do I. Additionally I am surmising these people find the prices reasonable too. After this my 3rd visit I will be giving them my business going forward.

They do require a $15 deposit to book an appointment which can be used toward the service you receive or you can keep rolling it forward as your deposit for future appointments.

He also did the wrong cat eye color and had to grind it off in order to fix that. I was charged $75, $14 of which was for repairs that were not conducted. I normally pay $60 for a fill WITH design at my normal salon. I will NOT be back. I only went here today because my normal nail tech does not availability until next week and my nails were looking crazy. Also, the salon was in various states of disrepair. The furniture is cracked and looks super run down. I would not recommend coming here unless you like being overcharged.
