I went to get a pedicure with my sister, who got a mani pedi. For the pedicure basins, they don't use covers which concerned me a little. The salon is very clean. There are only 3 people working today, maybe because it's a weekday. The woman that did my pedicure was very nice to me, and the woman that did my sister's nails was nice. My sister got a simple star design, although she originally wanted koi fish but the nail tech said she couldnt do that. My sister is happy with her nails. From a professional standpoint, the polishing could have been better. I do nails professionally. It could have been a bit closer to the cuticles and the sides of the nail. Overall, I think it was a nice experience. I enjoyed it and my sister said she enjoyed it too.

I came to this salon on a Saturday after attempting to go to others that were "booked" for the day. I walked into Sunny's and immediately I was greeted by Tim. My nails look great! The customer service was great! And the music was a vibe lol! If you're into Barry Man and Patsy Cline and other 60's classics. I absolutely loved my experience and will be returning soon!

I just had the worst experience ever at this place. The woman who was assigned to do my nails was so disrespectful and the staff and management did nothing. They were nice to begin with and there wasn't much wait but when the woman came to take the gel off my nails and file my nails she got an attitude when I asked her to make all of the nails the same shape - square with round edges. She proceeded to tell me all my nails looked the same and then before going to start on my second hand she packed up her stuff, walked away and started on another client. I went to the front desk and i felt so offended i started crying and they did nothing to help or try to understand my frustration. I saw how they were so nice to the other clients (who happened to be white) and i couldn't help but feel like I was being disregarded or ignored because of the color of my skin. I was nice the whole time, never raised my voice or anything. I just wanted my nails to be consistent. If you are a person of color I would stay away. This is just not the place. I was stopping by on my way to church. This is so embarrassing that I have to walk out with nails like this. I've never been treated this way. I even offered to pay for taking off my gel (that shows how "cooperative" i was trying to be. They had no care.

My sister and bestie, who are most definitely quality and wallet conscious, tipped me off about this place located in a funky strip mini mall. They recently repainted inside so it's not as dark inside. My first time there I was like whoa, what is the place they recommended. So aesthetically it's not the prettiest inside but then again the only nail places that look posh inside usually charge an arm a leg and seldom do a great job. The pedicure was quite good. This recent time, I remembered why my sis and bestie come here. The $25 pedicure ($20 if you need don't need callus removal) is a steal. The massage that comes with it was worth it alone. You won't want it to be over when the time comes. The gel powder nails were $35. This is my first time doing it so I can only post a photo as I don't know what is good vs bad. I didn't have any bad experience as others had mentioned, but I think if you are polite to them, they will reciprocate. They were quite patient do my mani as I needed more instruction what to do and I messed up one nail when we were nearly done. They're very efficient and taking care of business oriented but without rushing you.

So today I tried new nail salon( Sunny Nail Spa) I will give it a 6 out of 10. Everything was so so okayish but the fly's was annoying and the fact that I was charge $30 for the length of my nails. I chuckled it up to be a misunderstanding on my end . I'm very VERY particular about my nails and I could sit here and pick apart everything but I won't. At the end of the day they are a nice salon . I will go back for my nail color and possibly for a fill in.

Extremely unsatisfied. Right middle finger nail is completely crooked, there's some kind of hard, sharp bump near the cuticle of the left middle finger, and air bubbles on almost every nail. After 5 days, one of the nails cracked in half. I've never had a nail break this way. She also made me bleed twice while doing my cuticles. Felt like she took a mini-belt sander to them. The salon itself is nothing impressive. As other reviews indicate, it does have a very strong chemical smell; it was overpowering at first, but once your headache sets in you get a little used to it! Prices are pretty average for the area. I will not be going back to have the nail repaired, I didn't even call her out during the manicure (except for when my cuticles bled) because I didn't want to sit in that salon for any longer than I had to.

I really like my nails. The nail tech took her time and fixed the mistakes of the previous nail tech at another salon. I didn't have an appointment so they said it'd be at 15 min wait but I waited no longer than 10 min max. The lady who did my nails had a few rude moments when she was panting my nails but overall I would come back it was her tone more then anything.

I enjoyed my time at this nail spa. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted coming in, however, Timmy was able to help me figure it out based in how long I wanted the manicure to last versus the price. At 11am, I called the spa and made an appointment for 1pm that same day. I arrived late, still was greeted warmly. The lady who did my nails, didnt get her name, was very friendly, gentle, and is very good at what she does. Although she knicked me about 5 times around the cuticles, it was nothing that made me bleed, nor broke the skin. I just like to know if i should expect a little pain, as many nail salons actually do break the skin. The place is clean and bright. Thought I missed the place, as it some up pretty quickly.

Arrived Friday at noon, seated immediately, service provided was excellent! $25+$5 tip is a great price because most gel manicures start at $35 closer into Baltimore city. 1000/10 recommend. I had gone to another salon in Baltimore city and they royally screwed up my nails. I called Sunny nails since I had been there once before and loved them. Why I didn't go back and went to the other place is something I'll never do again. I called Tim (store owner) and asked if he could help. He told me to come right in. And I'm so happy I did. I explained to him how I wanted my nails done and he listened and followed through. read more

I go here because they offer dip powder manicure for $35, which is the cheapest I've seen in the area. Their gel manicures stay on for quite a while as well and do not chip. They have a wide selection of colors and nice massage chairs. This is definitely my go to nail salon. read more

I moved to MD a bit over a year ago and I had tried a bunch of different nail salons with no luck of a salon that provided good work for the price of the service. I always left leaving pretty disappointed...but then I found this salon! Not only do they provide better work than some of the fancier salons, but their prices are the cheapest that I've found! The salon itself does seem a bit older, but their quality of work and prices make this my favorite salon! ($75 for acrylic fill and gel pedicure) read more

I got a french manicure for the first time; the next day the polish came off whole as if they were stick-on nails; additionally cut too far down on a side cuticle requiring a neosporin with pain relief and a bandaid for 4 days. Also, same cuticle issue on big toe for the pedicure. read more

Great service-to-price ratio! Friend and I were walk-ins to Sunny's for pedis on a Tuesday after work. We were asked to select colors as our foot baths were started. The seats are less luxurious than other salons, but they are massagers, so it was just fine. We were attended to fairly quickly. The basic pedi does not include callus removal, so I paid an extra $5 for that. Friend got a great little foot massage with her pedi, mine was merely mediocre. They have several levels of pedis ranging from $20-70. Toes looked great when I left, I will return. This is located in a little strip mall with some parking out front. Not sure how full this gets on a weekend. read more

I visited the salon on multiple occasions. Every time I visited, the same tech (main male) would talk about me in front of me. My nails break within a week of getting my nails done, due to constantly using old acrylic powder. I visited this salon as a walk-in the day before prom. I requested for specific shapes and designs...the tech refused to do it and then said that he would charge me $10 extra for the shapes/not doing the designs..I was only charged because no one has asked for what I was asking for. I was frustrated because he refused to do what I asked for/wanted AND wanted more money for a wack ass job!! MY NAILS BROKE LITERALLY THE DAY AFTER. Two days after getting my nails "done", I had 3-4 broke and/or gone. Have not been back since. read more

I am serious about my nails and had to find a new shop since the one I was going to started cutting corners. I read some reviews on Facebook and settled on Sunny's! I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. The shopping center they are located in can be congested, but Lynn makes up for that. She throughly takes her time and does my nails amazingly. No rush. I always feel like I'm the only client that matters in her chair. The place could use a little upgrade, but the customer service is SIMPLY AMAZING! read more

I've been coming here faithfully for two years, I absolutely love it. The prices are so reasonable and didn't change drastically due to Covid which is lovely. They almost always have a slot to come in and they get right to the point. I don't even have a preference to who does my nails because I'm so comfortable with anyone in there doing them! read more

Love this place! Looked it up on Yelp and even though there only a few reviews, every person seems to love this place! So I decided to call and book a same day same hour (lol) appointment with Timmy! Now usually you call a nail place on a Sunday around closing time they will always find a way to brush you off till next time, but not Timmy! He was very nice and to come in with no problems. I gave him a heads up that I was picky and he didn't seem to mind lol I went in and OMG first of all I had keep asking their prices because an acrylic fill with gel polish is $25 BUCKS! Holy s***!!!!!! He said they keep it low because they are local. After that I took my time finding a color and while he was doing my nails anything I wanted him to do or change he did it in the sweetest way and totally deserves a great review! I just came in for an acrylic nail removal. The first person I got for it, just tried to snap the nail off instead of soaking it off and it hurt like hell. The nails were new and thick because they were encapsulated nails. She seemed to complain a lot before passing me off to someone else. He also tried to snap them off before I stopped him telling him that it hurt. He then finally soaked my nails and was very nice from that point on. I would recommend this place for nail removal, just remind them to soak so it doesn't hurt your nails (: read more

I was visiting from out of town so of course i look to Yelp for some needed service. I was over due for a mani pedi and brow wax. I go off of how many stars vs how many reviews plus distance. I didn't want to wander too far since I'm not from the area. It was nice and early and the place was friendly, clean and they had immediate availability first thing on a Friday morning! I get dip on my fingers and gel on my toes. I was giving up on dip because my last two visits to my regular spot was disappointing with the dip lifting from the cuticle after barely a week. They talked me into it and i loved the out come. (It's been 5 days as of today and they still look like i had them done this morning!) They're was a woman next to me getting a pedi and i complimented her nails and we chatted while getting our toes done. This lovely woman paid for my pedi!!!! It was so nice of her. My mail tech (i didn't catch her name. So mad at myself for that) also did a great job on my brows. Since i had the extra cash i gave my tech a a little extra in her tip. Hands down the best pedicure I had in a while!! I did the deluxe pedicure for $35. My feet was throughly clean and soften. They use a little brush to scrub your feet! That when they had my heart!! The massage I received during the pedicure put me to sleep! Pedicure was so good I even decided to get my eyebrows done while I was there! lol I know a big leap of faith! Eyebrow was done perfectly and fast. I want to say almost pain free. Now I will say I did see some one have a complaint there before they started with me and they just brushed her off. That initially worried that my services wouldn't be up to par. Wasn't the case at all for me. They are a little too chatty. At moments they do seem like they are talking about you in their language but I cleared everything up with them and we laughed. Chin believes only in soaking off the existing nails and will not hurry the visit by using the grinder most places use. They were thin, whispy, pre-made fans that were poorly glued onto only some of my lashes. They started falling off almost immediately, and there were visible white clumps of glue that a friend pointed out because she thought I had crumbs on my eyes. One week later when I went to another eyelash studio, they couldn't even tell I had any extensions on until they put me under the lights. I would've been better off just curling my own lashes & using mascara because mine are thicker & longer than whatever they used. I've never had such poor quality.

This place is very unsanitary. I went for nail services last week. The older, petite lady, with short hair and glasses, did my pedicure. The tools she used on my feet were not sterilized. She accidentally cut the edge of my big toe, causing it to bleed. I was dumbfounded to see that she simply wiped away the blood with a cotton ball- and placed the contaminated cotton ball BACK on the tray! When the bleeding didn't stop, she wiped the excess blood using the towel that was beneath my feet. The bleeding still hadn't ceased, but she proceeded with the pedicure- she used the clear nail polish, and then the colored one- BOTH as blood had formed around the edges of my toenail! I didn't record the horrific incident because my finger nails had already been covered with the aluminum foil they use to remove old polish. I was hoping the guy/owner would see the now dried blood around the polished nail, as he got ready to apply the design on my nail, and speak with the person who did the manicure. Not only did he NOT say anything to her- he STILL applied the design to my nail, with the blood around the nail! Needless to say- I will NOT be going back. read more

So I looked this place up and Timmy really did an amazing job fixing my nails and I have not been anywhere else since he started doing my nails a couple months ago. Now when I go I tell Timmy to just do what he wants cause he knows what I I like. He is really good with designing my nails .Their prices are great, they are very friendly! This place is awesome! My sister and I read all the wonderful reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were NOT disappointed. The salon is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly, engaging, and attentive with great attention to detail. We were pampered. We were not rushed, and they didn't skimp on the products. The prices are fantastic. We got gel manicures and we were so over- the- moon about the whole visit. We just can't wait to go back and try a pedicure or one of the many other services they offer. I've lived in this area for some time and I FINALLY found "my nail place". Timmy at Sunny Nails and Spa is absolutely the best. I have been doing acrylics on my nails since I always peel regular gel off and I'm very hard on my nails. They're also extremely weak, always have been. I've very particular about how I have them done. Timmy introduced "dip powder" to my nails and they've never last longer or looked better. AND my nails are getting stronger. He takes his time and is very thorough when working on my nails. I'm so grateful to find this place and definitely recommend it! read more

I had read all the reviews and decided to give them a try since I was in between clients for work. The salon is small but the staff were friendly. I got a basic pedicure and gel fill in with design. The lady who did fill in and pedicure did a great job. She cut my nails down and fixed the old acrylic that was one. Her design was so nice, one of the nicest ones I've had. She even gave me an extra finger free. I loved their color selections as well. The price was fair. It's a shame I live so far because I would definitely go back!! read more

After a bad run in with my go to nail salon I needed to find a new place. I tried about 6 before I found sunny nails and I'm never going anywhere else. The service is amazing and all of the employees are so nice and funny. The prices are to die for ! I have not had a bad experience yet and I love them! I posted the picture of the paint job I just got. White nails with blue and black sparkle design. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and asked them to change the colors around and it was so perfect. read more

Love, love, love this business!!! You walk in and you are greeted immediately. The prices are really great, and you never feel rushed. I have been going to Timmy for about 2 months and he has been consistent and wonderful. My nails look marvelous every time. I get a gel manicure and they last for 3 weeks. The pedis are awesome as well! My toes are always cute, shaped to perfection and no rough/dry heels. Please do not hesitate and give this place a try and you will love them as well:-) read more

Today was my first time here! I got a gel manicure, deluxe pedicure and eye brows waxed! Harry did both and he did a great job! My pedicure was probably the best pedicure I had in a long time. I showed up a little after they opened, which I am happy I did because they got super busy fast! The salon is very clean and the staff was very nice. I am new to the area and had a bad experience at a different salon two weeks ago so I am glade I found this place. I will be going back for sure! read more

I came here looking for a new place to get my nails done and I have to say that the pricing, hours and the top notch customer service is amazing. I never felt rushed and the quality of the job was and still is amazing. The owner, Timmy, worked on my nails and he is very detail oriented for sure. Esthetically this nail salon is not quite up to par with others in the area, but the service was outstanding. My nail tech, Tess was very friendly and paid extra close attention to detail and nothing about my gel manicure or pedicure felt rushed. She also spoke great English which was nice, so we could chat. Lastly, the prices were SO reasonable. I paid $45 for my gel mani and standard pedicure. I will be a regular customer here from now on. read more

Well I'm so glad I'm home back to my normal salon. As ALWAYS Timmy did my nails and one of girls did my pedicure. I called ahead Timmy had a client so gave me to young lady for my pedicure #1 job herself and than Timmy took me after Pedi. It was so good to be back home and A+ to Fantastic Job. 2 i've been going here for almost 2 years and i absolutely love them. i get a full acrylic set with gel polish plus waxing for about $40, which is incredibly reasonable and they always do a great job. i've had my set now on for about a month and they've held up great! everyone is so nice and they are absolutely my favorite nail salon. read more

Updating after 2 more visits. Both times I called ahead to make an appointment with Timmy. Both times he has taken exceptional care with me. He is very patient and detail oriented, but doesn't take all day. He takes the time to correct mistakes, and to make sure I leave happy. I love my mani/pedi done by Timmy. He did a beautiful floral design on my two big toes and he exceeded my expectations. Timmy always massages my hands and feet which is very helpful after a hard days work! Great price! Great location (right off the beltway) and a professional yet friendly, family atmosphere. Love this place! They always do an amazing job and don't overcharge you like other places I have been. They have been the only place that has grown out my nails instead of destroying them. Went to this nail salon today based on the reviews online, and it didn't disappoint. The staff was very friendly - much more friendly than many area salons where the staff is courteous but more abrupt. The price was very reasonable, and my manicure looks awesome. Just moved to the Glen Burnie area and my girls are up for the summer. Awesome job! They accommodated me and my three daughters for pedicures and my girls also got manicures.
